This one stands out as a great value for money. It reminds me of the Cell*** line from He**, which I used before. The scent is pleasantly subtle, and I'd definitely repurchase it.
ConsThe included cotton pads are incredibly soft but quite thick. Using them with this product might require an endless amount of product.
TipThis product seems perfect for a hydrating toner mask by generously soaking cotton pads with it.

This toner is perfect for someone like me who doesn't like watery formulas. After using it, I noticed a significant reduction in redness. With summer approaching, my redness and heat sensitivity had worsened to the point where my pores were visibly enlarged. But now, the redness has noticeably decreased, and my deep dryness has improved considerably. I'm so happy! Recently, nothing seemed to help with the small bumps on my forehead, which was incredibly stressful. Now, they're barely noticeable even when I apply makeup. The scent isn't overpowering, and despite my initial concerns about the many caution ingredients, it exceeded my expectations!
ConsThe number of caution ingredients is a bit worrying... Since it's also great as a toner pack, I wish it came in a larger size! Other than that, I don't have any major complaints.
TipIf this toner doesn't work for you, you should definitely stop using it. But it works so well for me that I use it generously! When I use it as a toner pack before bed, I wake up with noticeably improved skin texture.

My skin type is sensitive and lately it's been dry, causing a lot of sebum and blackheads. I usually use the Alasca toner, but I stopped briefly to try this one for the review. The scent is citrusy and neutral - not overpowering, and it's quite pleasant as you apply it. You can pat it on easily. The texture doesn't immediately run when applied to the back of your hand, but it absorbs quickly when spread out. On the face, it feels hydrating while bridging the gap between a toner and an essence. When applied, it doesn't feel as slippery as the Alasca toner, but rather gives a thin coating sensation. It's not super lightweight, so I wouldn't recommend it for those wanting a light base. Layering this with essence, emulsion, and moisturizer might be too much - you'd need to apply it very thinly. However, for a simple routine, using this essence toner with a moisturizer leaves the skin feeling plump and nice. There's no stickiness, and despite the coating feeling, it's quite hydrating and absorbs really fast, which I love. Unlike typical essence toners that can feel sticky on the skin, this one doesn't. It reminds me of a summer version of the Laneige Cream Skin (though not necessarily lighter). I didn't experience any itching or blemishes when using it. The packaging is a standard toner bottle - matte with a white cap, looking clean and nice on the vanity. It's familiar and comfortable to use. While it's not exactly budget-friendly, it's great for those who dislike complicated routines and want to simplify with just a toner and emulsion. I usually do an exfoliating toner, serum, emulsion, and moisturizer mix, but with this, I often just follow up with a moisturizer, which works well for this time of year. Among essence toners, I'd rate this as one of the top (and I've tried many).
ConsThe downside is that it feels a bit ambiguous. Sometimes I wonder if the hydration evaporates, leaving only the moisturizing effect behind.
TipRather than layering multiple products, a routine of exfoliating toner - this product - moisturizer or emulsion seems to work best for a simplified skincare routine.

Texture It has a slight viscosity but feels watery, with a white appearance. It's not like a runny toner. 2. Application As I have dry, sensitive skin, I was worried it might be too drying, but after absorption, it maintains a pleasantly firm skin texture. The absorption was good and didn't take too long. I liked the firm feeling it left on my skin. 3. Scent It has a bit of... an old-fashioned cosmetic scent. I'd prefer if they made it fragrance-free or reduced the fragrance if they can't eliminate the base scent. It should be fine if you're not sensitive to fragrances. 4. Overall They included a cotton pad, but I didn't use it as a wipe-off toner. I only used it as an absorbing toner, and it feels like a firm toner with decent hydration. It seems good for deep hydration. Since it has anti-wrinkle properties, it might be beneficial with consistent use.
ConsThere weren't any particular downsides while using it, but the price is... a bit steep! I'd consider purchasing it when it's on sale.

I have combination dehydrated skin that's oily in winter and extremely oily in summer. My skin is also prone to blemishes if I use the wrong products. I usually prefer exfoliating toners, but this one isn't meant for that purpose (which is a bit disappointing). However, it's a toner that feels more like an essence, packed with hydration. It has a thicker consistency than regular toners, full of moisture and nourishment. It's neither sticky nor too watery, and I appreciated its mild scent. Dry skin types will likely be very satisfied with this product. No need for the 7-skin method - this one's enough on its own! It's not sticky, just deeply moisturizing. In terms of hydration, it might be the best among toners. As someone with oily skin, I use this alone, skip essence, and go straight to emulsion. Using both would be too heavy for me (though it might be different in winter).
ConsGiven how hydrating this toner is, it might feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin, especially in summer. That's why I skipped the essence step. I'm using it because it's a test product, but I think it would be more suitable for me in winter when my combination skin becomes dehydrated. Also, the cotton pads provided... I'm used to thinner ones, so the 5-ply felt a bit uncomfortable.
TipFor those with dehydrated skin who often do the 7-skin method, this product alone might be enough even with just one application. It would also be great to use it as a skin pack by soaking the provided cotton pads generously with the product.

I was a bit nervous because I heard the fragrance was polarizing, but it wasn't that intense. In fact, I found it pleasant and not too strong for a cosmetic product. 🍊 Application/Hydration The consistency is like a thin toner, not as runny as nasal mucus. It's just fluid enough that it doesn't dry out immediately after application, which I love! Even on oilier areas, it absorbs well without feeling too heavy. 🍊 Design I simply like the minimalist bottle design... hehe!
Cons🍊 Blemishes As I have super sensitive skin, I noticed a couple of tiny bumps... but honestly, it's not a big concern! Still, those with extremely sensitive skin should be cautious! Other than that, I can't think of any downsides...? I believe this toner does everything a toner should do.
Tip🍊 Toner mask!!!!!!!!!! I used to absolutely despise toner masks and was a die-hard fan of exfoliating toners, but the 5-layer cotton pads that come with this package are amazing! When you soak them generously and use all five layers for a toner mask, you get soothing and hydration effects - all clear! Essentially, you can leave it on, gently wipe it off, and reapply, or if you're extra dry, add an emulsion on top. For evening skincare, this routine is pretty much all you need. It feels like I've finally found a toner that lives up to its name!

The pleasant scent is a bonus, and it's great for hydration too!
ConsAs someone with acne-prone and oily skin, it feels a bit too rich and heavy for me. It might be better suited for those with dry skin.
TipIt works better as a pat-on toner rather than using it with cotton pads.

It wasn't too artificial and was just the kind of fragrance I enjoy. I applied it twice - once initially and then again after it had absorbed a bit. My skin felt more supple and firm after that. At first, I thought the amount might be too little, but it turned out to be just right. What's impressive is that I only used this toner and an emulsion in my routine, skipping essence, yet my skin didn't feel dry at all. I'm quite satisfied with how it maintained my skin's hydration even with a simplified routine.
ConsHmm... I wasn't too fond of using it with a cotton pad. Also, while I have combination skin, I think this would be even better for those with dry skin types! One thing I found a bit disappointing was the ingredient list. I really prioritize ingredients, and while I didn't have any issues using it, I can't help but think how much better it could have been with an improved formulation.
TipWhen using this product, pat it gently onto your skin and press lightly with your palms. Once it's somewhat absorbed, take a little more and pat it in again. Applying the toner twice like this might give you even better results!

First off, the refreshing lime and lemon scent puts me in a good mood every time I use it. It's a slightly viscous water toner, so you can really feel it delivering both nourishment and hydration. I've been using it for about 2 weeks, and while I didn't notice any changes at first, recently the small blemishes between my eyebrows seem to be calming down a bit! I'm using it with the Torriden serum, and it's great for a light routine as I don't feel the need to apply an emulsion or moisturizer separately - my skin doesn't feel dry at all!
ConsThe toner bottle has a screw-on cap and it pours out when you flip it over, which makes it a bit tricky to control the amount. Rather than using it as an exfoliating toner, I've been applying it by spreading it widely, so the cap design is a bit disappointing. Also, there hasn't been any dramatic change in my skin... I think it's a very safe choice for most people! However, the scent might be hit or miss, and those with dry skin should definitely use it along with an emulsion or moisturizer.
TipThe slight viscosity makes it easy to spread widely when dispensed onto your hands! If you pair it with an essence or serum that adds extra hydration, your skin will feel moisturized without any deep dryness.

The product has a translucent white, slightly thin (with a bit of viscosity) texture and a fresh cosmetic scent. After the first use, I noticed an improvement in my skin texture the next day. (This is what earned it a 5-star rating.) I first tried it on the evening I received it, and when I washed my face in the morning, my skin felt soft and smooth. The more I use it, the more my blemishes seem to decrease. I'm not sure if it's because I switched from my previous toner (which had been causing some unnoticed blemishes) or if it's due to a change in my cleansing method, but I suspect it's more likely the former. I appreciated that the scent wasn't off-putting. The Hwahae Testers didn't just send the product alone; they also included cotton pads that work well with it (and they're an impressive 5-ply!).
ConsThe inclusion of potentially allergenic ingredients. The value for money is drought-level... According to the current information on Hwahae, it's 30,000 won for 200ml. While they probably won't sell it at that price with basic discounts, the initial price point is set far too high. The feel on the skin is so-so, with a slight stickiness at the end. While I didn't find this to be a negative point personally, I wouldn't consider it a positive either, so I've included it in the drawbacks.
