First, my skin is dry with blemishes, redness, and large pores. ✔ Hydrating -Usually, when using other essences, I couldn't understand what people meant by 'feeling filled up inside,' but after using this, I get it. I definitely felt moisturized even without applying an emulsion after absorption. ✔ Texture -This is just my personal opinion, but I dislike sticky textures, so I really enjoyed using this watery formula. ✔ Effectiveness -I don't have any before photos to show a comparison, but the blemishes that used to be concentrated on my cheeks and along my hairline have significantly decreased. People around me have noticed that my skin looks better without visible blemishes. ✔ Cotton pads -I'm not sure if it's because I'm part of The Hwahae Testers, but they included cotton pads! Thanks to that, I was able to do essence mask packs and use it as an exfoliating toner, which was great.
Cons✔ Scent -Hmm... It smells a bit like men's toner or flat soda. It's not a scent I particularly enjoy, and it might be polarizing for some people, so I've included this in the downsides. ✔ Price -The effects were quite good for me, so I thought I'd use it again when I finished it. But after seeing the price, that feeling kind of disappeared... I usually don't use essences and just go from mask pack to emulsion, so it's rare for something to change my mind like this, but the price...
TipNo matter what you apply, make sure to absorb it completely!!!

Apologies for being a day late. First off, I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin! The texture is a water-based formula, but it's a bit slippery. Pros: 1. It improves skin texture. There's a strong sense of overall refinement. 2. It's incredibly hydrating. Even without applying anything else after this, I didn't feel extremely dry like with other toners. 3. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin! My skin usually turns red easily, but not with this one.
Cons1. The scent is a bit off-putting. It smells like my mom's cosmetics... Maybe it's because I'm a student, but this seems to be its biggest drawback. 2. There weren't any dramatic effects. Some reviews mentioned that it even gets rid of small bumps, but for me, not really... It was just okay.

When I received the product, I had already switched to a different skincare routine and my skin was just starting to calm down after a bad reaction. I was hesitant to change my routine again as my skin was super sensitive. However, I decided to simplify my routine and use this product along with my medication. Initially, I applied just one layer of Docto, but after about 30 minutes, I felt some tightness, possibly due to the air conditioning, so I added more hydrating products. Later, I started applying two layers and sometimes left it on like a mask for 5 minutes for extra soothing. After 3-4 days, I noticed my skin becoming smoother when I did my skincare routine. It definitely feels like it's improving my skin and filling it with hydration from within, especially when applied after cleansing.
ConsWhen I first opened and applied the product, I thought, 'Huh? What's this familiar scent?' It has a fresh, sweet and sour citrusy fragrance. The scent is quite strong, like oranges, so I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to fragrances. I usually avoid strong scents, especially in night products, preferring unscented ones. But since I love citrus scents and realized it reminded me of a familiar beer smell, I ended up liking it more. If you're sensitive to fragrances, please check before using! It's not an artificial scent, more like the strong lingering scent left on your hands after peeling an orange. Additionally, I tried the complimentary cotton pads after about a week. They're supposedly pure cotton, and while the initial application was softer and less irritating than my usual pads, rubbing two or three times actually caused more irritation due to the cotton clumping. The texture also felt uneven, which was really disappointing.
TipI'm satisfied with this product as it seems perfect for summer when skin is more susceptible to sun damage, as it can be applied in a thin layer. Two weeks is too short to fully evaluate its effects. I think it would be especially good to use as a toner pack, as recommended, after outdoor exercise. I'll probably reach for it often for that purpose.

It worked well both when soaking a cotton pad to wipe my face and when applying directly with my hands. While it's not extremely runny, it doesn't drip when dispensed into your palm. Sometimes when I'm in a rush, I only apply this essence toner before heading out, and I don't feel any tightness or dryness. With my dry to combination skin, this toner alone provides enough hydration that I don't need to rush to apply cream right away.
ConsAs someone sensitive to fragrances, I usually stick to unscented products or familiar fruit and plant scents. Unfortunately, this had such a strong artificial cosmetic smell that it made me uncomfortable.
TipIt's also great as a toner mask - you can soak a 5-ply cotton pad and use each layer separately without any irritation.

My skin is sensitive but responds very well to centella, hyaluronic acid, and collagen. Let me start with the positives - this product contains hyaluronic acid, which worked wonderfully for my skin. The texture is a translucent liquid with a slight viscosity. It feels a bit slippery due to the hyaluronic acid, but that wasn't an issue. It absorbs quickly, and on my skin, it seemed to give a subtle glow. It's interesting how it feels hydrating yet absorbs rapidly - or perhaps evaporates? - leaving behind a slight luminosity. The photos show my skin before application (two shots with nothing applied after cleansing) and after applying the toner (two shots).
ConsThe fragrance is somewhat reminiscent of men's skincare products, though it's quite subtle.

Although I usually prefer watery toners and don't particularly like runny ones, I found the Lagom Essento to be quite impressive. Rather than using it as an exfoliating toner, I found it more effective as a hydrating layer. What I loved most was how comfortable it felt on my skin, even after multiple applications, without feeling heavy. Its moisturizing power is excellent, with the hydration lasting longer than other toners I've tried. After applying it twice, you could probably skip the hydrating serum step and move straight to a nourishing serum. It also leaves my skin feeling soft, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with it.
Cons1. It's on the pricier side. 2. The scent reminds me of a men's aftershave, which can be a bit strong and distracting. I've gotten used to it now, but for those sensitive to fragrances, this could be a deal-breaker.

The term 'essence' made sense to me. Initially, it feels slightly oily, but once absorbed, it finishes without stickiness, leaving a fresh feeling. ➠ Hydration Due to the fluctuating temperatures, the extreme dryness that started in early winter is still persisting. On days when my skin feels particularly dry, I soak the included cotton pad and place it on dry areas like a mask, which helps calm the skin. Unlike my previous toner, this one feels oilier, giving the impression that it better locks in moisture.
Cons➠ Ingredients As someone with sensitive skin, I'm disappointed by the two potentially harmful ingredients. Fortunately, I didn't have any adverse reactions when using it as a basic step, but I found myself reaching for it less after using scrub products. ➠ Scent It has a typical cosmetic fragrance. For me, it's a subtle, pleasant scent, but other family members didn't like it. Those sensitive to fragrances should take note.

I used this product for two weeks, applying it twice with a cotton pad both morning and evening. In the morning, I layered it with Cynic's The Simple Emulsion, and in the evening, I paired it with Round Lab's Birch Juice Moisturizing Cream. Fortunately, these combinations worked well together. The toner is hydrating, so it suited my U-zone perfectly, while in the T-zone it felt a bit richer than regular toners. I think come summer, I might be able to skip the emulsion and just use this toner alone. I'm also satisfied with the simple yet elegant packaging design.
ConsI was a bit disappointed that the scent reminded me of men's skincare products. It's not off-putting, but it might be a hit or miss for some people. Also, the price point is a bit on the higher side.

I'll be sharing my experience after using this product every morning and evening for about eleven days. My skin type is typically oily with dehydration, and during this dry season, it's more combination. While my face tends to get oily, it also feels tight due to lack of moisture, making me quite sensitive to hydration needs. ♡ How I Used It After cleansing, I gently wiped my face with toner on a cotton pad. Then, I applied a hydrating toner, followed by two layers of the Cellus Revive Essence Toner. For each layer, I patted it in until fully absorbed. In the morning, I followed up with a light cream, and in the evening, I used a richer cream. ♡ Texture The consistency is between watery and viscous. It absorbs easily into the skin, but leaves a very slight stickiness even after full absorption. ♡ Application While it doesn't absorb as quickly as water, it still has relatively good absorption. ♡ Moisture and Oil Balance The hydration seems excellent. It noticeably reduces deep dryness. There's also a suitable amount of richness. After application, you can even see a bit of that coveted Inner Glow. ♡ Overall Assessment This seems to be a solid product for oily, dehydrated skin types during dry seasons. It addresses deep dryness and provides a balanced amount of richness without being too matte, making it perfect for all seasons except summer.
ConsThe scent is similar to men's toner, which initially made me think I'd received the wrong product. It's a subtle, masculine fragrance. I got used to it over time, but it was surprising at first. While the amount of product is sufficient, it's priced higher compared to similar products from other brands.
TipFor best results, apply once or twice in the morning after your toner, and two to three times in the evening, patting it in until fully absorbed each time. This method enhances hydration and helps alleviate deep dryness.

I have slightly dry skin, and sometimes even products with good ingredients can cause a tingling or burning sensation on my face. Before trying this Lagom toner, I was using the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner and Real Barrier cream. Even with multiple layers, I still felt dry. The best thing about Lagom is that it's not drying at all! True to its 'essence' name, it's wonderfully hydrating. I didn't find it too oily or sticky. The texture is more watery than viscous, and it leaves your skin feeling perfectly moisturized. It absorbs well too. I used the included cotton pads for exfoliating once, then patted it in with my hands, and even tried it as a mask one day - no irritation at all, which was great. Of course, long-term use will tell, but in my experience, products that work well from the start usually continue to do so.
ConsPersonally, I didn't mind the scent. It has a sort of cool, fresh fragrance - very cosmetic-like, but not overly bothersome. It reminded me of my mom's skincare products when I was young. However, I'm mentioning this as a potential downside because those who prefer unscented products or dislike traditional cosmetic scents might not appreciate it. For reference, my mom is in her 50s and she absolutely loved it.
TipMy mom has oily skin and used only this toner after cleansing for a few days. She occasionally applied cream at night but found that even without it, her skin didn't feel dry - it was just right! She usually dislikes products that feel sticky or leave a noticeable film on her face, but she was very satisfied with this one. I think this would make a great gift for her!
