Pros
This is a product I've been using for several bottles now. On days when I don't feel like doing a full mascara routine, just using the curler and fixer can still give my lashes a pretty look. I'd recommend this to those who prefer a more natural makeup look.
Cons
It seems to dry up too quickly. Also, when used alone, the longevity isn't great... It tends to droop after a while.
Tip
It works even better if you use it after curling your lashes with an eyelash curler.

Pros
I tried the Etude House Long Lash Fixer, but over time it would turn white. So I also bought the black one. I have thin lashes and a lot of eye creases, so my lashes tend to droop down. Regular mascara can't last more than half a day for me, so I usually just use the fixer to finish my eye makeup. This product applies like mascara, but the black isn't super intense, it's more of a soft black. Personally, I liked that more natural look. It has a bit of a lengthening effect (very slight) and the volume doesn't really pop, but if I curl my lashes, apply it, let it dry a bit, and then curl again, it lasts more than half a day on my thin, creased eyes. On really good days, I even fell asleep right after drinking, and my lashes were still intact the next morning!
Cons
As it dries, it does have a bit of a whitish cast. Even though it's black, it still turns a bit grayish, not as much as regular fixers, but it does change color.

This product seems to have been developed to address the existing issue of becoming completely hardened. It certainly does not turn white after hardening, so it seems possible to apply it alone.
Cons
It hardens very hard. : It hardens extremely hard. The contents are somewhat sticky, so when brushing up the eyelashes, they stick to each other, and when trying to loosen them, they just stick together even more, so they become thick and hard, and you can't do anything about it. Once it hardens so hard, you can't even apply mascara on top of it, so you have to give up... It's not good enough to be used alone without mascara, but if you use this fixative, you can't not use mascara... it's a contradiction😭 The curling persistence is hit-or-miss : From using it a few times, I've noticed that the curling persistence varies day by day. The existing product turned my eyebrows white, making it impossible to use alone. I'm glad this one came out in black!! The hold seems to be about the same between the two.

Pros
I fell asleep while using this, but the hold is super strong and I was able to apply mascara on top without the curl being compromised. It also dries quickly, making it easy to apply additional mascara on top.
Cons
If you don't wipe it off, it tends to clump up and become slightly whitish, so I think using it alone might be a bit tricky. Also, the packaging is plastic? It's not a regular container, but the kind that squeezes out, so I'm worried it might dry out quickly.
