I tried a makeup fixer for the first time to keep my look in place, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. To test it out, I went about my day for about 10 hours, and the staying power exceeded my expectations. While it doesn't keep everything exactly as it was when first applied, I'm satisfied with how well it maintains the curl of my lashes. You'll need to adjust the amount you use and perfect your application technique to avoid clumping. It's best to let it dry completely before applying mascara. It stays put well and I use it daily. The staying power doesn't fade, so I think I'll keep using it in the future! Given its formula, it's probably unavoidable, but it hardens too quickly, so you need to take good care of it.

You know how Etude's mascaras are great, right? Well, their fixers are just as amazing! While regular fixers can leave a white cast when they dry, this black fixer is fantastic - it looks just like you've applied mascara. I can't recommend it enough! As someone with monolids, I've always struggled with keeping my lashes curled. So, I decided to give this a try, and I'm pleasantly surprised! I opted for the black version instead of the clear one, as I heard the clear can leave a white residue. I've been using it for quite a while now, maybe 1-2 years? After curling my lashes, I apply this, and it works wonders! It keeps the curl in place all day, even on rainy days. It's so effective that you could even skip mascara if you wanted to. Talk about a multitasker that works hard for your lashes! The main drawback is that it can clump when applying. I wish it was easier to remove excess product at the tube's opening, but it doesn't seem to work well. However, I don't think people who regularly use mascara would find much use for this product. Here's a pro tip: wipe the wand on a tissue to remove excess product before applying. - I've been using this for years - It holds up well even on my fatty eyelids with thin double eyelids - Even after a summer beach trip, my lashes stayed perfectly curled and there was zero smudging around my eyes. Panda eyes? What's that? - It sets incredibly fast - Being a black fixer, there's no risk of white dust showing up - There's a slight feeling of thickness when applied, so you need to be careful with the amount. But it's hard to call this a real drawback, especially considering all the benefits. I keep using it anyway...
