Pros
The antioxidant effects are the best with retinol. I had used it before, so I purchased the highest concentration right away. Skin antioxidant + wrinkle + scar improvement were my goals in purchasing it. If used too frequently, severe peeling can occur, so you need to use it carefully. The effects are great, as expected from a 2% product!
Cons
The oily texture makes it a bit difficult to absorb, but the price is forgivable..^^
Tip
Only apply at night! Since it's a hassle to let it absorb, I just apply it and then put on a toner pack.

Pros
Retinoids are more stable and effective than retinol, and they also contain squalane, so I decided to try it. It's been 6 months since I started using it, but I haven't really noticed any significant effects, and I haven't experienced the common side effects of burning sensation or dryness.
Cons
Maybe the emulsion type would be better? The oil type absorbs too slowly and is too difficult for oily skin in the summer (it was also difficult in the winter). The Ordinary is a single-ingredient product with a good price! However, they don't seem to care much about the application.
Tip
Refrigerate, use within 3 months of opening, and be diligent with sun protection. Since the absorption is poor, I mix it with aloe gel or apply it when doing a face mask, which is better than using it alone, but it still doesn't absorb very well.

It's decent and affordable, so it's worth trying. They say retinol is good for pore and wrinkle improvement, and there's a 2% product that I like.

I think this is a great product to start with retinoids as it has no irritation whatsoever.
Cons
After applying, I don't feel like the greasiness goes away. It does get better when I wake up, but I'm not sure if it's absorbed into my skin or just into my pillow.
