The fragrance is pleasantly subtle - not overpowering at all, which I appreciate. I was worried it might have an artificial minty scent, but that's not the case at all.
ConsI found myself using quite a bit each time. It didn't quite become a staple in my routine. Also, I tend to get blemishes on my scalp around that time of the month, and they seemed to worsen a bit while using this (I'm not sure why, but since switching shampoos, the blemishes have reduced).

But it's hard to find any real positives.
ConsI never knew what seborrheic dermatitis was until now... I've been a shampoo nomad, and even when I used shampoos with worse ingredients than this, I didn't break out. But with this one, I'm getting blemishes especially along my hairline and forehead. I thought it was just me, but sure enough, I found others with the same issue. This is truly the worst shampoo, I absolutely cannot recommend it.
TipThe best tip for your wallet? Don't buy this shampoo!

The natural scent and cleansing effectiveness left me feeling extra refreshed.
ConsI've been worried about hair loss around my crown lately... This shampoo seems to make it worse, perhaps because it's a bit harsh. While it lathers well, it leaves my hair feeling stiff, making it impossible to brush without using a treatment. Also, though I'm not certain it's due to this shampoo, I've noticed some small blemishes appearing on my forehead... I plan to stop using it for a while and then try again to confirm if it's the cause.
TipMake sure to use conditioner or a hair treatment!

Prone to dandruff, and depending on the shampoo, easily develops blemishes from under the chin to behind the ears and back of the neck. - Scent The fragrance might be divisive, but I liked that it wasn't irritating. It wasn't harsh, and if I washed my hair in the evening, the shampoo scent didn't linger in the morning. - Lather It lathers extremely well. While it foams nicely, it's more of a bubbly, flowing lather rather than a rich, dense foam. - Hair loss The amount of hair fall was similar to or less than other anti-hair loss shampoos I've tried. After shampooing, some hairs did get caught and pulled out due to the hair feeling stiff. Using conditioner or treatment is necessary.
Cons- Cleansing effectiveness Despite the good lather, the cleansing power isn't strong. I had to shampoo twice after rinsing. One wash just doesn't feel thorough enough. Although it's a mint shampoo, I didn't feel that refreshing sensation. <Update> After finishing one bottle, I bought the original version again, but I think there's a scalp odor, so I'm considering buying the rosemary version. - Blemishes On the third day of use, large blemishes appeared from my chin to behind my ears. <Update> After the initial breakout, I didn't experience any more blemishes until I finished the bottle. - Shampoo texture When pumping the shampoo with one hand after wetting your hair, it's so runny it drips to the floor (almost like a watery toner). <Update> Trying to go back to thicker products now feels inconvenient... <Update> I've revised my review after using up the entire bottle.
TipRecommend using a scalp brush. Since this shampoo doesn't leave a very refreshed feeling and can make hair stiff, using a brush for massage is recommended over using your hands to avoid tangling.

Hair length reaches the shoulder blades. Can't even remember when I last had a perm or dye job. ☆ Lathers up nicely. I used that Witch's... Herb Green thing before, which didn't foam well, but this one does. The texture is like a firm gel, so it doesn't drip and is easy to use. ☆ Scent It has a mint scent. Just your typical mint fragrance. Not off-putting at all and feels fresh. ☆ Price Honestly, I'm used to using cheap shampoos and conditioners from the supermarket, so this feels pricey at full price. But with frequent discounts on Hwahae, at drugstores, and even cheaper deals online, it's not outrageously expensive.
ConsAfter using this product, my scalp got dry and I developed some flakes or dead skin cells... What's going on? Also, I'm getting blemishes on the back of my scalp, specifically around the occipital area... What's happening? This has never happened to me before... It's not super severe, just noticeable when I brush my hair. My scalp has definitely become drier. It takes longer for oil to build up when I don't wash my hair. (How long I go without washing is TMI, so I'll keep that a secret...)

It has a pleasantly cool scent and leaves a clean finish. It doesn't seem to make my hair greasy.
ConsSince it's not widely sold, I bought a similar product from Innolab, which is from the same company as Hwahae and has the same ingredients. After using 6 bottles, my scalp is a mess. The initial freshness is gone, and now my scalp is flaking with large dandruff. My scalp has become red and irritated, there's a lot of static, and my hair feels like fragile threads that could break at any moment.

As someone who prefers unscented products, I appreciated that while it does have a slight fragrance, it doesn't linger on the hair.
ConsStrangely, this product seems to make my scalp itchy. It also feels like it might be making my hair a bit limp. While I did finish the bottle, I decided not to repurchase. It's a shame because I know it works wonders for some people, but it just wasn't right for me.

Unlike the jojoba and tea tree version, it didn't cause itching... or so I wrote a few days ago. But now it's itchy. As expected, the itching persists. Ah, this company's shampoo has no advantages for me.
ConsThe mint scent is so strong, I almost mistook it for an e-cigarette. I seem to have gotten used to it over time, but still. The itching is unbearable.

Its gentle ingredients make it so comfortable to use.
ConsAt some point after using it, I noticed it wasn't cleansing as effectively as before. I started getting dandruff. Still, I'd recommend it for those with super sensitive skin.
