I'm pleased that the ingredients are good and the scent isn't overpowering. Since I don't like strong fragrances, this was perfect. It seems to have significantly reduced my itchiness too.
ConsThere's a slightly tight feeling after washing, but it's not a big issue since I use a treatment afterward.

When my scalp was itchy in autumn, using this was like magic - the itchiness disappeared instantly. I'm not sure if it has a subtle cooling effect, but when my crown area became too hot and sensitive in summer, I repurchased it this year. Now, my scalp no longer feels irritated. How did this happen? It's like some kind of wizardry shampoo. I usually only use supermarket brands or gift set shampoos, but for this one, I'm willing to spend my own money, even if it costs tens of dollars.
ConsPersonally, I find the small volume a bit disappointing. If the size could be increased and the price lowered a bit, it would be perfect. In winter, it might make your scalp and hair feel too stiff and dry.

As I've gotten older, I've started paying more attention to the ingredients in cosmetics and shampoos. This product ticks all the boxes - great ingredients and a wonderful user experience! My scalp tends to be on the dry side, and even with daily washing, it used to get itchy after a day, leading to a cycle of scratching and irritation. But with this, there's no itchiness at all. The foam is also rich and luxurious, which I love.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it! I just wish they'd have sales more often.

It's really nice!
ConsThe amount is too small compared to the price. It's way too expensive! Please increase the quantity.

The fragrance really lives up to its name. The longevity is moderate, but it's subtle so you won't notice it much anyway. Ingredients: The formula feels incredibly gentle! I didn't experience any scalp blemishes or itchiness while using it. Lather: It comes out as a clear liquid, but as soon as you rub it, it creates a rich lather! Interestingly, adding water actually reduces the foam. For best results, massage it into your scalp right after squeezing it out. Quantity: It's just right! Not too much, not too little... Perfect for trying something new when you're ready for a change.
ConsDryness: As other reviewers have mentioned, it really leaves your hair feeling dry... This is why I won't repurchase. It's so drying that it feels like your hair might fall out!
TipFor the best lather, don't wet your hands first!

I usually do a pre-wash and then shampoo twice. As someone with both a dry scalp and dry hair, I'd recommend this to those with similar dry or combination hair types! If the cleansing is too strong, it can make your scalp even drier and itchier. The rosemary scent is subtle and natural, giving an overall gentle feel - it really embodies the characteristics of a natural shampoo. It lathers up well for a mild shampoo too. My first impression after using it was that my hair felt lighter! I'd recommend this for families who need to share with children, and for those with sensitive scalps! I'll update if I have any additional thoughts after using it for a month.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it would be that the scent is barely there. I wouldn't recommend this to those who prioritize fragrance. The popular rosemary scalp shampoo at Olive Young has a stronger scent. This one lacks that refreshing, cooling sensation, which is a bit disappointing. It seems that when focusing on gentle shampoos for problematic scalps, you have to compromise on fragrance. Even natural shampoos with musk or other scents don't tend to last long.

However, I couldn't write a review without using it at least once, so my review is a day late. Even though it's just been one day, I've analyzed it thoroughly! From the moment I opened the box, I was greeted by a lovely rosemary scent. It's the kind of fragrance you want to keep smelling. As someone with super sensitive skin, I often experience itching with unsuitable shampoos, but this one didn't cause any irritation at all - it was really great. In terms of cleansing effectiveness, I didn't notice any issues. It washes out just as well as regular shampoos. After use, it leaves the scalp feeling a bit dry, so it might be perfect for those with oily scalps. It's not bad for combination dehydrated skin either! The best part is the cooling effect on the scalp. With the current hot weather, washing your hair with this shampoo not only refreshes you but also wakes you up and relieves fatigue. It also lathers up nicely.
ConsAs mentioned above, it can leave the hair feeling a bit dry. I'd recommend using a hair essence afterward.
TipMake sure to apply a hair essence! Actually, since it's a shampoo, if you're careful to keep the lather mainly on your scalp and not let it spread too much to your hair, you can minimize the drying effect.

My scalp was incredibly sensitive before, but after using this, it calmed down significantly. I had a patch on the back of my neck about the size of a coin that was always red, itchy, and painful like psoriasis, but after switching to this shampoo, it improved in just a week. It's truly amazing... I'm in awe. I used to just use regular shampoos from the supermarket, but now I realize how crucial shampoo is for scalp health. Although it's a natural shampoo, I thought it wouldn't lather well, but even with my shoulder-length hair, one pump creates plenty of foam. The fragrance is pleasant too - it doesn't linger too strongly, but it does eliminate any scalp odor... it seems to neutralize it a bit? For those with bleached or dyed hair!! You must try this!
ConsThere are no downsides. I plan to repurchase when I run out. It's gentle and so good for the scalp.
TipFor those who say it doesn't lather well!! From my experience, if you haven't washed your hair for a few days or if it's very oily and greasy, you might need to pump the shampoo two or three times... If you rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or do a quick pre-wash before using the shampoo, you'll get plenty of lather and can use it economically!

I was thrilled to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! I have seborrheic dermatitis, which makes my scalp constantly itchy. After using the product for about a week, I feel like the itching has subsided a bit. As expected from a mint shampoo, it has a strong minty scent. However, it didn't give me a burning sensation on my scalp. Using this shampoo felt like having a mint candy while washing my hair, haha!
ConsIt definitely produces less lather compared to the Tea Tree Jojoba Shampoo. While the Tea Tree Shampoo creates rich, fluffy bubbles, this one doesn't foam up as much. The lather you get during the second wash with this shampoo is about equivalent to what you'd get on the first wash with the Tea Tree version.
TipThis would be great to alternate with the Tea Tree Shampoo when you want a change! Dr. Alga's shampoos are really excellent.

It's incredibly gentle! Usually, when I use shampoo, my scalp often gets itchy and sore, but not with this product. The blemishes on my scalp have also significantly reduced! As someone with super sensitive skin, frequent shampooing used to be painful, but this shampoo was much less harsh. 2. It lathers well I thought it wouldn't foam up much due to its thin consistency, but I was surprised by how well it lathered! 3. My hair texture improved My hair has become noticeably softer! Even people around me have noticed the difference. 4. It's almost fragrance-free This could be seen as either a pro or a con, but I liked that it doesn't have a strong scent, so it doesn't clash with the conditioner's fragrance.
Cons1. The thin consistency makes it a bit difficult to control the amount Because it's runny, I thought it wouldn't lather much, but it actually foams up more than expected, sometimes creating a foam overload... It can be tricky to handle if you accidentally squeeze out too much. 2. Being gentle means it might not cleanse as thoroughly I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily scalps or heavy buildup. However, it could be a good choice for those with dry or normal hair types.
