I really like the Avene products. Here are the things I liked about it...

It started itching right after I applied it 😢 I tried it to soothe my itchy skin, but it made it even more itchy.. I wondered if it didn't agree with the La Roche-Posay B5 I was using before. After applying the blue gel and then the Avene CPI, my forehead, nose, philtrum, and chin are still red and irritated. The ingredients don't seem to agree with me.. I should have checked the Hwahae ingredients before buying it.

Pros
Normally, it mildly itches me when I apply it. That's why I didn't use it much...... But the real power of this product is revealed when my skin is peeled off. Surprisingly... when my skin is peeled off, the product soothes the skin irritation and provides moisture, rather than just relieving the itchiness. Usually, when my skin is peeled off, I use a soothing ointment, but when I use this product, I apply it on top to provide even more moisture. I will repurchase this product.
Cons
The expiration date is only 6 months away. When I apply it on my normal skin, it strangely makes my face feel itchy and I don't want to use it.
Tip

Pros
It has good absorbency and a fluffy feel, but it can be drying for dry skin. It has a bluish tone and is good to use before morning makeup. It feels lightweight.
Cons
Blisters and itching developed on my hands within 5 minutes. I laid down to sleep and got up scratching my hands, which looked terrible. I even washed my face, so be careful. The mist was good, but be cautious of PEG 100.

Pros
My skin was only inflamed on one cheek, with heat, redness, and inflammatory acne. I heard the product had a calming effect, so I applied it that day and the redness and heat subsided!
Cons
On the first day, I slept peacefully in a calmed state, but during my sleep my face became itchy. When I woke up, the redness and heat came back, and by the afternoon, the area I had applied the product to became extremely red. My skin looked worse than usual, and it was obvious there was a problem with my face. I immediately went to a dermatologist and was diagnosed with contact dermatitis. It applies smoothly and feels light. It would be good for oily skin types to use in the summer.
Cons
It becomes tight right after application. For those with very dry skin, this alone may not be enough. I have sensitive skin that gets red easily, and after using this, my skin immediately turned red. It became itchy and produced a lot of flakes. Sensitive skin types should definitely test it out before purchasing. I have no intention of repurchasing.
