I first encountered the Avène brand in the fall of 2021 with their mist, and I was so satisfied with it that I started looking into their other products, which is how I discovered this Cicaplast Baume B5 blue gel. My skin seems to have slow regenerative abilities, and I don't really treat my skin gently like a baby's. So I tend to focus on using regenerative creams. This product is recommended by dermatologists, so I decided to give it a try. The warmth that rises to my face dissipates for a long time, which I really liked. The absorption was also good. At first, it felt just like a regular lotion, but after applying it, it became slightly thick. However, after patting it in, it felt slightly plump and firm. I think in the summer it might not need a follow-up moisturizer, but in the current weather, I felt I needed to apply a moisturizer as the next step. In addition to regeneration, it's also said to be good for calming blemishes. When I used it on its own, it felt a bit drying, so I applied it three times, and it started peeling off like a mask. It's highly effective against major troubles! I bought it because I had pimples all over, but they subsided within two to three days! It's almost fragrance-free, so it's not burdensome. It applies smoothly like a light lotion and doesn't feel sticky at all.

I bought it to use together with the Cicalpat cream, as they said the effects would be better that way. But after using the blue gel and then applying the Cicalpat cream, my face got even redder.
