The texture is refreshing. There is no stickiness at all, and it absorbs quickly when applied thinly. Most importantly, I was able to see that the redness was somewhat calmed the next day, which was great.

I really love Avène products, especially the Blue Gel! Whenever I have a little breakout or skin trouble before my period, I always apply it, and it calms my skin down so quickly. Especially if I apply the Blue Gel before bed and finish with the Cicalfate, my skin is so soothed when I wake up. A little goes a long way, so it's great value for the price!👍👍
Cons
It might not work as well for those with acne-prone skin. My sister has problematic skin and wasn't sure about the effects, but using it consistently with the Cicalfate does seem to gradually lighten her blemishes.

I was like, 'Is this really Avène?' and sure enough, it was. It's just perfect for calming the skin the day before. When I applied it to my skin that was cracked and wounded, it healed up quickly!!
