Pros
I purchased this product based on the recommendation from Olive Young, as they said it is used to soothe the skin after dermatological procedures. When doing Fraxel treatments, the face can get quite hot, so I've been relying on this ointment, especially on the first day. Although I don't like products with a lot of oiliness, this is closer to a base than an ointment and has almost no oily feel.
Cons
The blue...it's blue in color, but it doesn't absorb at all, so it just sits on the skin ㅠㅠ That's why the blue color just gets smeared around, which looks quite unpleasant ㅠ I understand it has no oiliness, but even after applying, my face quickly feels dry and lacks moisture ㅠ

My skin suddenly became severely irritated from the summer onwards, and I currently have redness, small bumps, and acne scars. When it first became irritated, I went to a dermatologist and did not use any cica creams. Now that there are almost scars left, I have been looking for cica creams to help calm them down. Cica creams have become quite popular lately, and there are quite a few brand products available. Based on my friend's recommendation, I started using the Avène product. I'm aware that the SOS cream is well-known, but I don't prefer products with oiliness, so I used the blue gel. Applying this consistently has prevented any new acne from forming! This product's key features: It has a soothing effect⭐️ At the end of September, I was going crazy because of small bumps. I don't know what came over me, but I started frantically rubbing my face with a cotton swab. As a result, my skin peeled off, became irritated, and turned extremely red. I really felt like the world was crumbling down😭 I know I shouldn't have squeezed it, but I almost cried out of regret😭 So while frantically searching Hwahae for information on healing creams, I saw the SOS cream, but it was said to be too thick and rich, so I was hesitant... Meanwhile, the Blue Gel had just been released and I saw a lot of ads for it. Coincidentally, Olive Young was giving away cleansing gels, so I just bought it all! (I've been meaning to write a review, but I've been changing my skincare routine a lot during this period, so I wanted to try it out a bit more before writing. Today's the day!) The result is satisfactory (though not completely satisfied)⭐️ Since I've used a product that claims to have a soothing effect, I'm not sure if that's the reason, but the redness was significantly reduced the next day, and my makeup didn't look too cakey (though having a good skincare routine helped too). The ingredients also seem gentler compared to the SOS cream. There's only one type of alcohol in it! The fragrance is unscented. There's no fragrance at all.
