I also liked that it comes in a pump bottle, which is hygienic. After using it for just over a week, I haven't noticed any dramatic changes, but my skin does seem a bit brighter! The best part is that it doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes at all! No stinging or burning sensation, which makes applying it so comfortable - that's definitely its biggest advantage!
ConsDespite the pump bottle, it was initially difficult to control the amount dispensed. The pump isn't smooth and requires a firm press, sometimes causing too much product to come out at once. The thick texture tends to pill badly if you don't apply it in multiple thin layers. It's a bit disappointing that you need to pat it in for quite a while for it to absorb completely.

Personally, I prefer a rich, dense texture over a lightweight one. The Kiehl's Vitamin C Eye Serum is quite unique. Its application: Compared to other eye creams or serums I've used, the texture is quite distinctive. It's not moisturizing, dense, or light, but rather powdery. When pumped onto the back of my hand, it feels moist, but when applied around the eyes, it's both matte and hydrating - similar to applying a brightening spot treatment! Feeling and effects: It doesn't slide around the eye area. As I gently pat it in, it absorbs quickly, making the eye area appear brighter. The weather's been humid lately, so I can't tell if it's hydrating enough, but I suspect it might feel dry during seasonal changes. At first, I had trouble controlling the pump and applied too much. Applying too much could cause makeup to pill. The texture tends to pill if not used sparingly. Container and convenience: I usually prefer creams or dropper ampoules, so the pump can be tricky if you can't control the amount. It's only 15ml, which is great for portability. However, the plastic lid and body seem quite flimsy. Overall: I've tried many eye products, but this is my first from Kiehl's and my first dark circle brightening product. The texture is unique, and it immediately brightens the eye area upon application. I feel compelled to recommend it to friends with panda eyes!
Cons1. Poor amount control can lead to makeup pilling. 2. Small quantity for the price. 3. The container feels very flimsy and weak.
TipApply a thin layer, gently pat it in, and then layer once more for brighter under-eyes. However, use only a tiny amount each time!

At first, I was skeptical about how much vitamin C could actually be in an eye cream, but lo and behold, ascorbic acid is the fourth ingredient, making up a whopping 10%! Plus, it contains peptides and hyaluronic acid, making it incredibly hydrating. While some might think it's pricey for the amount you get, I personally find it reasonably priced because a tiny bit goes a long way - you can even cover your eyelids. The lightweight formula is perfect for the delicate eye area.
ConsWhile I'm thrilled to have found my holy grail, I should mention that it contains a fair amount of dimethicone. This might lead to a somewhat matte finish and potential pilling for those with very dry skin around the eyes. If you're not a fan of the silky finish that dimethicone provides, it might be hit or miss for you. There's a slight tingling sensation from the ascorbic acid, but it dissipates quickly.

The texture is more on the thick side rather than being super bouncy. It applies smoothly, which I liked. Unlike typical eye creams that can feel greasy, this one seemed to absorb nicely, leaving my skin feeling fresh without any tightness or dryness even the next day. Interestingly, I felt a slight warmth when I first applied it. I thought my hands might be warm, but I noticed the heating sensation when I massaged the product around my eyes. This warmth actually seemed to help with absorption, and I hardly noticed any stickiness.
ConsThe application was a bit tricky. When applied directly to dry skin, it seemed to pill slightly. To combat this, I found it helpful to warm the product between my fingers before applying it to my eye area. If you have dry skin, you might want to apply a generous amount of your regular skincare products before using this eye cream.
TipI found that warming the product on the back of my hand before applying helps it absorb more quickly, without needing to pat it in excessively.
