This stuff is great. It's pricey, but it works. To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of department store brands. I often can't tell if they're really that much better. But this one's different! Apply it to your nasolabial folds and around your eyes, and after about a week, you can actually see the difference! When you feel like your fine lines are about to turn into deep wrinkles, use this and you'll notice visible improvement. Highly recommended! I've even repurchased it myself. If only it were a bit cheaper... Oh, and if you try to make it last longer by using tiny amounts over a long period, it seems to oxidize. You need to clean around the opening well, as product builds up there and can harden at the tip! Consistency is key. For those who find applying sunscreen a hassle or find it wears off quickly, just use this at night! - dp********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 27, 2022
I tried a sample and was surprised by its slightly primer-like texture, which felt buttery and silky. Vitamin C products usually show effects on my skin the next day, and I figured it wouldn't be good to use for long after opening, so I applied it not just under my eyes but all over my face. Surprisingly, the next day there were no blemishes, and my skin seemed brighter with seemingly smaller pores. Even though I felt a warming sensation when applying, which made me think there would be irritation, there was absolutely none... What's going on?? When I saw it said to use in the morning too, I tried it, and it even had an immediate skin-improving effect. I was amazed thinking, 'This is incredible!' Definitely a product I'll consider using consistently. I had no idea it would be this expensive... And the instant brightening effect? Well, that was due to the titanium dioxide, a physical sunscreen ingredient. Still, apart from the Calendula Toner, this is the second most appealing product from Kiehl's for me. If there's ever a day when it's on sale at a good price, I'd recommend it for those with sensitive skin who want to try a vitamin C product but are worried about irritation. - ku*******Dry SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 25, 2022
The pump dispenser makes it hygienic and convenient to use. I love that it's not too oily, so it applies smoothly around the eyes without leaving a greasy shine. While there's only one ingredient to be cautious about, it's still disappointing that there's even one. Also, it doesn't seem to have much effect on dark circles. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2021
It's not lightweight, but it absorbs well, so I've been using it consistently. As it's an eye cream, I can't say I've seen dramatic changes, but if my eye wrinkles haven't deepened since last year-end, I guess that's good enough, right? The price-to-volume ratio is a bit disappointing. However, I bought it last December and have been using it every night. Seeing that there's still some left after ten months, it doesn't feel overly expensive anymore! - pa*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2021
1. The airless pump container is hygienic and easy to use. 2. I have oily skin, and usually, if I use the wrong eye cream, I get blemishes around my eyes. However, I've been using this without any issues. 3. It absorbs well. 1. Despite being called a serum, it has a cream-like texture. It feels a bit rich for oily skin, so I recommend applying it only at night. 2. Unlike typical serums that absorb quickly, this one feels like it both absorbs and coats the skin, leaving a slightly sticky finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2021
I love that it's not sticky. I've been applying it under my eyes and around my mouth, and I'm really satisfied with the results. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but I wish the product came in a larger size. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
* Helps with blue dark circles and fine lines around the eyes * 7-day sample from Sephora (actually lasts much longer) Very hydrating. Only a small amount is needed for application. It causes a burning sensation and irritates the eyes, making them tear up. Using less product does reduce the irritation significantly. While there doesn't seem to be much mention of the scent in Hwahae reviews, both I and other reviewers on Sephora have noticed a metallic smell. I'm not sure if it's just my product that has oxidized vitamin content or if this is normal. The strong metallic odor persists for hours after application, which I find too off-putting to continue using. Considering all these drawbacks and the price, I hardly noticed any improvement in dark circles or wrinkles. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 15, 2020
It feels so hydrating and plump, like it's really filling up my skin I was startled by the intense burning sensation when I applied it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 13, 2020
I've been using this for over two weeks because the skin around my eyes was so dark, and I've definitely noticed an improvement in my complexion. The vitamin C seems to be doing wonders for my skin health. When I first started using it, there was a slight tingling sensation, but I didn't experience any blemishes. As I continued to use it, the sensation subsided. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2020
I absolutely love that it contains highly concentrated vitamin C! It's a bit thick, which might feel heavy on the skin. Keep this in mind before purchasing!
