Review after winning the event: The package color is beautiful and luxurious. There's a generous amount of essence, and it's a hydrating type. You can even spread the leftover essence for a second application after using the mask. As mentioned above, it's great to use when your skin feels dry due to its moisturizing properties. When I first used it, perhaps because my skin was sensitive at the time, about 5 minutes after applying the mask, my face started to tingle and gradually began to sting. I immediately removed it and tried to let the essence absorb, but absorption was rather slow. The stinging subsided, and there were no blemishes or other symptoms. It seems more suitable for those with dry skin. For those sensitive to aromatic oils, I recommend carefully checking the ingredients before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 7, 2018
■This is an honest review from a Hwahae Tester winner. My skin type is combination with dehydrated oily areas. Except for my U-zone, my skin feels quite tight after cleansing. I usually prefer light, hydrating creams over rich moisturizers, but the JayJun Essential Firming Up Mask felt like a rich essence. I enjoyed the lavender scent, which gave off a healthy vibe. Due to its richness, I didn't experience any dryness. However... I felt like it took a while to absorb. Even after removing the sheet mask, I had to pat my face repeatedly as the product seemed to sit on top of my skin. The Essential Firming Up Mask doesn't seem to suit my skin type. While I liked the lavender scent, I noticed a few blemishes appearing between my cheeks and chin, even though my skin isn't typically sensitive. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. Also, I'm not sure if it's because my face is large, but the mask sheet felt smaller compared to other brands. I felt a bit self-conscious trying to fit it over my eyes, nose, and mouth. Since this is a rich mask, those with oily skin might want to think twice before using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2018
I got to try this product after winning an event for the first time! Let me tell you about my skin - I have very dry, sensitive skin, so I prefer gentle, deeply moisturizing, and rich products. This feels like I've found my perfect match! Usually, my face gets parched after just a few hours in this autumn weather, with fine lines appearing around my eyes. But after using this J.Jun mask, my skin feels nourished, hydrated, and the moisture doesn't evaporate. It seems perfect for those with very dry skin and even for moms. It's truly a nutrient-packed mask! It contains three potentially harmful ingredients, but fortunately, my sensitive skin didn't have any adverse reactions. However, it might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. Here's a pro tip: After using the mask, apply the remaining essence to the back of your hands, arms, and feet for silky smooth skin. I've had rough, calloused heels since childhood, but after applying the leftover essence each time I use a mask, the dead skin cells have almost disappeared! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2018
Although this is a review for a product I won in an event, I'll be honest. First off, the scent is really lovely, making it perfect for use before bed. It's packed with essence and doesn't fall off easily, so if you put it on while drying your hair, you'll notice your face's dryness disappearing. The downside is that it might be a bit too greasy for those with oily skin. Also, since it doesn't absorb immediately, you might find your hair sticking to your face quite a bit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2018
This is a review from a mom with very dry, atopic skin. ★ 'The hydration is amazing!' I've tried almost all the well-known sheet masks out there, but none of them really moisturized my skin. This one, however, kept my skin from feeling dry even after removing the mask, and it still felt great the next morning. I loved it so much that I've used it every other day since I got it. ★ When you first take out the mask, it's generously soaked. Initially, it felt like a typical sheet mask, but I appreciated that it had a slightly viscous texture rather than being purely watery. I preferred this to masks that are dripping wet! ★ The best part was how well it absorbed into my skin after removing the mask. It feels like a serum, which is fantastic. It adheres to the skin with a bouncy texture, not evaporating but instead sinking in, leaving my skin smooth until the next day! **I think it's truly the best for extremely dry skin! ★ I have sensitive skin, but the oil ingredients seemed to work well. It didn't sting or irritate, and was very gentle. I'm very satisfied as it didn't cause any blemishes and kept my skin from feeling tight and dry. Since it's not harsh, I think I can use it consistently. ☆ The reason I took off one star is because the eye holes in the mask are long rectangles, which was a bit uncomfortable. It's like they designed it to cover the entire eye area, which is great, but it makes it difficult to blink. Usually, when I use sheet masks, I fold the edges to fit my face shape, but with this one, I accidentally let it slip into my eyelids at first. I was surprised and had to adjust it upwards. After that initial use, I've been using it well, but I wish the eye area was a bit more comfortable. Use this mask when your room is dry, or when your skin feels dry and tight! The moisturizing effect was really wonderful. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2018
I'm writing this review as one of The Hwahae Testers who won the chance to try this product. When I opened the box, there were 10 sheets inside. The lavender scent is truly delightful! I lay down to use the mask, and it made me feel so relaxed that I started to doze off. After using the mask, there was still quite a bit of serum left, so I applied it generously to my neck, hands, and even the soles of my feet. The rich, nourishing feeling when using the mask was fantastic. As someone with dry skin, I was pleased to find that my skin wasn't dry even after sleeping through the night! It's quite rich, so even a while after removing the mask, my skin was still quite dewy. I'd recommend using this only at night. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 23, 2018
- This is a review from The Hwahae Testers - The ampoule content is generous, providing ample product. You can even use the excess on your neck or the back of your hands. It offers excellent hydration and absorbs well enough. Plus, the fragrance is absolutely delightful! The ingredients are slightly disappointing. It might feel a bit heavy for use in midsummer. Those with oily skin probably won't reach for it often. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 12, 2018
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I'm sharing my thoughts after using about 3 sheets. While it's not labeled as a functional mask, it seems more suitable for use during dry seasons rather than as a daily mask routine. I applied it to soothe my skin after removing makeup and letting it dry. However, perhaps due to its rich texture, I developed some minor, itchy blemishes along my jawline. I think the remaining masks might be better suited for use during seasonal changes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 12, 2018
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review after being selected to try this product. My skin is extremely sensitive and as dry as a desert. First off, the mask material is incredibly thin, unlike Innisfree mask sheets. It's packaged on a plastic-like paper, which makes it adhere really well to the skin due to its thinness. Initially, I didn't have high expectations for this mask, but after using it, my face felt incredibly plump and super hydrated. (The hydration is top-notch!) Before using this mask, my face was desert-like, and even after applying moisturizer before bed, I'd wake up with dry skin. However, the morning after using just this mask, my face was noticeably moisturized. I was really surprised by this. Also, when I used this mask on a day my skin was flaking, I was relieved to find that it had significantly calmed down by morning. In summary, this mask sheet is thin, providing excellent adherence. It seems to allow the skin to absorb more of the essence! Even with just this mask alone, my skin remained moisturized until the next morning, showcasing its impressive hydration power. When I used it on irritated skin, it didn't cause any blemishes and actually soothed my sensitive skin. I couldn't really find any downsides to this mask pack during use. For those with dry skin like mine, it's fine to just sleep with this mask on. However, if you finish with an emulsion after using this mask, your skin might feel even more deeply hydrated! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJun 12, 2018
As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review! I have extremely dry, atopic skin. This mask really fills your skin with both moisture and richness. Not sure how it would work for oily skin types, but for my dry skin, it was amazing. Usually, even after applying cream before bed, my skin feels parched by morning. But with this mask, I woke up to skin that wasn't dry and had a nice glow. The product description mentions it's good for sleep, and I found that to be true. The pleasant scent and comfortable feeling definitely helped improve my sleep quality. My mother, who's also into skincare, tried it too and said her skin felt firmer. She was really impressed! However, the reason I can't keep using this mask is... I have severe atopic dermatitis around my eyes and mouth, and occasionally get blemishes on my cheeks and chin. While the mask's richness didn't cause any breakouts, I think the aromatic oils in it might have been the issue. After using the mask overnight, the areas around my eyes and mouth became itchy, triggering my atopic dermatitis. Since atopic conditions vary from person to person, I can't definitively say this mask is bad for atopic skin. But I think it might be more effective for those with less sensitive, dry skin rather than those with super sensitive skin like mine. Since I didn't see significant results from this mask, instead of product tips, I'd like to offer some advice for those with atopic dermatitis! My brother and I have had severe atopic dermatitis since childhood. My brother's condition affects his whole body, making daily life challenging, while mine is less extensive but still present in many areas. I've managed to maintain relatively normal skin through careful management. While diet control would be ideal, I personally can't give up the joy of eating! So, I take probiotics daily instead. Nutrients are crucial for managing atopic dermatitis, with probiotics being particularly important. For skincare, products that provide richness are essential, even if it means dealing with some shine. After trying countless methods, I found that applying an emollient cream or lotion over a hydrating product post-cleansing works best to lock in moisture. The most effective product for my atopic dermatitis has been 'Oxygene Baby Cream'. It creates a protective barrier without feeling heavy or too greasy, and I found it more effective than Physiogel or Atopalm. Using facial oils can also be beneficial, but be cautious around the eyes. While dryness around the eyes can exacerbate atopic dermatitis, applying heavy, oily products there can lead to eye irritation and trigger flare-ups. It's best to keep the eye area moisturized without using overly heavy products. I've been dealing with atopic dermatitis for 23 years and still struggle with it. I hope these tips can be of some help to others facing similar challenges!
