I've used Chanel, Saint Laurent, Nu Skin, and Dior extensively, but this product? I bought it thinking I might just toss it, but it's honestly a total winner! It's affordable, effective, and great for calming the skin. When you first scoop it out, it feels like a regular moisturizer, but as you rub it in, little water droplets form. After a while, it absorbs completely, which feels great! The scent matches the texture - it's fresh and invigorating. The whole application process feels revitalizing. It has a cooling effect after application. It wasn't irritating at all. After using it, your skin definitely feels softer! It's like your skin becomes velvety smooth. I keep wanting to touch my face! It applies so lightly that you can layer it multiple times without any pilling. It just absorbs nicely, leaving your skin soft and supple. It's especially great right after washing your face when your skin is still warm. It feels so cool and soothing! I have blemish-prone skin, and this didn't cause any new breakouts. If anything, it seemed to have a calming effect. Since it's called a water mask, I expected it to be super hydrating. But it feels... strange. Water droplets form and absorb quickly, but after absorption, it doesn't feel like it leaves a layer of moisture. Somehow, it feels a bit oily... It doesn't make my skin feel tight, but while it's light and fresh, there's a slight oiliness to it. Don't think of this as a moisturizer you can apply before makeup! It's truly meant to be used as a mask. Given its ingredients, I was a bit cautious about applying it generously and sleeping with it on. So I didn't use it daily, but rather every few days. Scent First off, the fragrance is pleasant. I'm quite sensitive to scents, but this one isn't overwhelming at all and is very wearable. 2. Application It's excellent. The cream applies incredibly smoothly and seems to absorb well. I could apply it without any irritation to my skin. 3. Hydration I have extremely dry skin, bordering on severely dry. This product is truly moisturizing. After application, if you gently rub your skin, you'll notice little water droplets forming. It leaves your skin so hydrated that you might not need to apply anything else afterward. (My routine: I cleanse my face with oil cleanser followed by foam cleanser, then use a toner to calm my skin before applying this product) 4. Absorption It seems that if you apply too much, it doesn't absorb as well. I recommend exfoliating and applying a small amount. As someone with sensitive skin, I felt a slight burning sensation and tingling. Other than that, it was very good. I would recommend this product to those who don't have sensitive skin.

It seemed to calm my skin too, which was great. I'm curious about the science behind those water droplets though! While I really, really loved it, there was one downside - when I applied makeup over it, things got a bit weird. My makeup didn't seem to adhere well... You can use it as an overnight mask by applying a generous amount before bed.
