Pros
This product has a mysterious texture that is not quite a lip balm but not quite something else. When I apply this and then put on a matte lipstick, it goes on smoothly without any clumping or emphasizing of flaky skin. I have a lot of wrinkles and dry skin on my lips, so I usually have trouble applying matte lipstick formulas (often called crayon-like textures). But when the store employee tested this product with the lipstick, it went on so well that I was captivated and had to buy it. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I got the Mac Velvet Slim Lipstick as a free gift during the last live broadcast, and it's amazing!!!! Highly recommended 😍 I think it would make a great gift for people who don't know about it, and they'll think you have great taste💓 The texture is different from regular lip balms!! It's bouncy and smooth!! The slim design is so cute ㅋㅋ If you apply it like a primer before putting on color, it helps matte lipsticks go on smoothly~~ Tinted products used to make my lips feel too dry, but now I can just carry this around in my purse without worrying! Regular lip balms would just sit on top of the color, but this one coats the lips and fills in the crevices, which I really love! When my lips get dry while I'm out, I can just reapply this on top of the color, and it works great!!! I'll definitely repurchase once I run out 🙂 This is truly an amazing product!!

There's nothing disappointing about it at all~ I hope this lip balm primer gets more recognition!! It's a real hidden gem that can save matte lipsticks ㅋㅋㅋ

It's thin but has good moisturizing power. There's no yogurt-like phenomenon or flaky feeling, and the lips become smooth. It creates a nice condition for applying lipstick without it slipping.
Cons
Since it applies thinly, I have to apply it several times. So it feels like it wears off quickly.

This is the first time I've used this product, and it definitely goes on more smoothly when applied compared to when it's not applied!! I highly recommend using this as a matte lip balm! It's not overly oily like regular lip balms. I usually don't use it, but because of COVID, I had to wear a mask, so I decided to try a matte lip product, and it's really amazing - no flaky lips at all, it's just great😭 It feels really soft and moisturizing.
Cons
The price is a bit expensive ㅠㅠ I thought the amount you get for the price is a little small. (By the way, my parents bought it for me! And when you look at the photo, you can see that I barely used any, but there's not much left ㅠㅠ) The product is good, so this price might be reasonable... But if you're a student without much allowance, it might be a bit burdensome to buy. It's thin, so you can apply it exactly where you want, but if you use too much, it might break. Still, I liked that it was thin!

I bought it based on a recommendation from a Mac store, and I used it for a slight headache. Although I'm not the type who gets a lot of flaky skin on my lips, especially in the winter, I do enjoy wearing lipstick and prefer matte finishes, so using this product together works well to apply smoothly.

It instantly creates a smooth base that can subdue flakiness while lightly applying a matte lip. Even though I don't usually put much effort into lip care, this product has saved me from major concerns even in the middle of winter!
Cons
The price-to-volume ratio is low, and it gets used up quickly, requiring repurchase. 😢 However, I haven't found a better base product than this one.
