The lack of shine makes it look natural even when layered over.
ConsThe price is high compared to the size, and it has a light vanilla scent. You need to apply it carefully as it can get crumbly.

I purchased this product after hearing that it could help address the excessive emphasis on flakiness that can occur with matte lipsticks. In reality, it does a great job of minimizing flakiness and keeping my lips looking neat and tidy. I like to apply it before putting on my matte lipsticks as a base. 2. While it's not as intensely moisturizing as a traditional lip balm, it still provides a nice level of hydration.
ConsThe downside is that it's quite pricey, around the same cost as a full lipstick. I'm not sure if it's really worth investing that much in a base product, rather than an actual lipstick. 2. It's also a bit delicate, so I recommend taking small amounts at a time to avoid it breaking easily.
