Advantages of this foam cleanser as mentioned in the product details: : Soothing hydration care, refreshing deep cleansing, soft cream texture, fine dust cleansing -Pros 1. Soft cream texture This was probably the best aspect of using this foam cleanser. The texture itself is gentle, and when lathered, it forms a dense foam that doesn't drip, which I really liked. 2. Refreshing deep cleansing and hydration care Honestly, my first thought after using this product was, 'Why doesn't my skin feel dry even though it feels so clean?' It's like all the excess oil is gone, but there's still a protective layer... I always had this feeling, which is why I was very satisfied and continued using it. Because it didn't feel tight, I sometimes even forgot to do my skincare routine... 3. The scent, if I remember correctly, is similar to Innisfree's Bija Trouble Facial Foam, which I liked! This is just a personal preference I consider a plus.
Cons1. Not suitable for my skin type. Despite the advantages mentioned above, this foam cleanser didn't work for me. I'm not sure which ingredient caused it, but even though it's labeled as a functional cosmetic for acne-prone skin, I noticed blemishes appearing on my forehead... Looking at the good and bad ingredients for different skin types on Hwahae, I think it might be because it contains many ingredients that aren't great for oily and sensitive skin... Other than this, I can't really think of any other downsides!
TipIf the ingredients look okay to you, it's not a bad choice to buy it. However, there are so many great products available these days that I wouldn't strongly recommend this one...

The tube packaging allows for hygienic use. The narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount you dispense. The scent is also inoffensive - it's a universally appealing fragrance that won't put anyone off! 2. It has an incredibly rich texture. The consistency feels like it could really draw out impurities from deep within the skin. It also lathers up beautifully when used with a foam net. I mainly used it with a cleansing brush, and the thick texture worked wonderfully with the brush! 3. The cleansing effectiveness is above average. It removes face makeup well. It's not overly drying, so I didn't experience much deep dryness after use.
ConsDespite being a cica product, I developed blemishes after using this. I had high hopes due to its texture and how it felt after use, but it seems it doesn't agree with my skin... Also, it doesn't remove color makeup like liquid eyeliner very well, which is disappointing.
TipThis might work well as a morning cleanser. I wouldn't recommend using this product alone for your cleansing routine.

Kind of like a medicinal smell?! I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so it didn't bother me when using it. 🌿Lather/Cleansing effectiveness: When you squeeze it out, a light, fluffy cream comes out that lathers up really well. It gives a squeaky clean feeling. After using it, my face feels refreshed. 🌿Packaging: The container is lightweight and easy to squeeze, making it convenient to use. The package design is also clean and simple.
Cons🌿Blemishes: About a week after I started using it, I got a small pimple on my forehead. I hadn't had any acne on my forehead recently, so I became a bit suspicious when it appeared after using this cleansing foam... That's when I finally checked the ingredients on Hwahae and noticed there were a few components that aren't good for oily and sensitive skin... Ugh. Other than that, no issues.
TipFor those who, like me, experienced skin blemishes and feel hesitant to continue using it regularly, but also don't want to waste the product, I suggest using it 3-4 times a week, applying small amounts to areas that tend to get oily. I think this could be one way to use it up. The cleansing effectiveness is undeniable 👍

After washing, my skin feels squeaky clean. Apart from that, I didn't notice any other particular advantages.
ConsI typically have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, so I'm prone to blemishes. I had high hopes for this product since it's a foam cleanser specifically for blemish-prone skin. I started using it right after my period when my skin was in pretty bad shape, thinking it might help calm things down. But to my dismay, it actually made my skin worse! I had to stop using it after just four days. I considered pushing through until the review deadline, but my skin was so irritated it hurt to touch, so I had no choice but to stop. Interestingly, my boyfriend used it too and had the complete opposite experience - it worked perfectly for him. On the bright side, after I stopped using it, my skin definitely calmed down. Of course, I used my usual soothing products to help, but it was a bit much to use both the foam cleanser and calming products at the same time. From watching my boyfriend's experience, it seems to work well for men's skin, but if you have skin like mine, I'd recommend carefully checking the ingredients and reviews before giving it a try!

For 10 days, I exclusively used this product for cleansing. I didn't wear any makeup, just sunscreen, and cleansed my bare face. Note: Photos may vary slightly due to lighting and angles. Skin type: Combination dehydrated, sensitive, with enlarged pores and blemishes on the nose and cheeks. Currently experiencing mild skin irritation. Initially, I was concerned about the ingredients, as many aren't ideal for combination dehydrated, sensitive skin. However, when using it, I didn't experience any stinging, tightness, or itching! As I usually use gentle cleansing oils and pH-balanced foams, this felt slightly more squeaky clean, but not overly drying. Surprisingly, I noticed a significant reduction in sebum and blackheads. It also provided gentle exfoliation, similar to a mild cleansing oil. The texture is soft and foams up easily, so it doesn't feel harsh when using. The scent is like a floral toothpaste, which I personally enjoy. It gives a refreshing feeling while cleansing! Interestingly, from day 7, my complexion seemed to brighten. While not a dramatic difference, there was a noticeable clarity. This might be due to the Centella Asiatica extract, known for its skin regeneration and anti-inflammatory properties. I was impressed to learn that it has received vegan certification from a strict French certification body, which adds to its credibility.
ConsDespite its sebum-control properties, it didn't completely remove sunscreen (this may vary depending on the sunscreen used; easily washable ones might come off better). After using this product exclusively, I noticed slight redness on my skin from day 9 (I'm prone to redness due to existing mild skin irritation). Initially, it seemed to calm blemishes, but with continued use, I felt a bit of irritation and tightness. The soothing effect had its limits, and it wasn't as gentle as a pH-balanced cleanser.
TipWhile it showed great soothing and sebum-control effects initially, daily use led to slight irritation and redness. I'd recommend using it every 2-3 days, alternating with a pH-balanced foam cleanser. It's also great for those worried about using separate exfoliators - this cleanser provides gentle exfoliation without extra irritation!

After using only low pH products, I was looking to switch to a deep cleanser when I won this product and gave it a try. Here's what I liked: - My face doesn't get red after cleansing. - It's a vegan product. - The ingredients are high-quality. - As someone with oily skin, I love how squeaky clean and refreshed my skin feels after using it! - The scent is like a forest? It has a slight tea tree oil fragrance.
ConsWhile I, as an oily skin type, enjoy the squeaky clean feeling after use, those with dry skin might find it too stripping. The scent isn't subtle, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to fragrances or dislike tea tree oil or forest-like scents. As a vegan product, I had high hopes, but after using it, my skin texture became rougher and I experienced some blemishes. This might be because I switched from gentle, low pH cleansers to this deep cleanser.

The finish is extremely squeaky clean, so it could be helpful for those concerned about excess oil. After using this cleansing foam, the treated area feels very clean but also quite tight. Be cautious if you dislike that tightening sensation. Smooth skin x5 A day after use, the tested area on the back of my hand felt significantly smoother compared to the other side. It had a unique slippery softness when touched, suggesting it might be effective in improving skin texture. Lather x5 It lathers well. While not extremely rich, it produces an adequate amount of foam. Since everyone's standard for foam richness varies, I'll attach a photo showing the amount of lather produced. Please judge based on your own preferences, considering the amount used.
ConsBlemishes x5 As I have sensitive skin, I often react to products... Just to be safe, I did a patch test on the back of my hand and then used a small amount with a sponge on one cheek. But it felt strange, so I immediately washed it off. I was shocked when my cheek became very red afterward! However, when I only used the cleansing sponge on my face after washing it with the foam, it was fine... I'll have to use this product just for cleaning my sponges.

Well, it's bigger than I thought?
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, I got so many blemishes after using this. The ingredients just didn't agree with me. My skin wasn't great to begin with, and now I'm even more upset.
Tip• Not recommended for those with extremely sensitive skin! • If your skin tolerates most products and you're looking for something basic, this might be okay. • The scent is truly reminiscent of pine needles.
