The soft, whipped cream-like lather is truly amazing. It produces a rich and gentle foam! While it doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean, its cleansing effectiveness is impressive. If you dislike the weak cleansing power and slippery feel of low pH products, but also can't stand the strong cleansing and irritation from alkaline products, this is perfect for you! The refreshing scent is also a plus.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I think I'll keep using it!
TipI highly recommend this for those with sensitive, oily skin.

I'll get straight to the point about what I liked while using this product! - The texture is as soft as whipped cream, creating a rich and abundant lather! This makes it gentle and less irritating when massaging, which I really appreciated. - I was also very impressed with its cleansing effectiveness. Compared to my usual cleanser that doesn't lather well and has weak cleansing power, this one left my skin feeling squeaky clean! I always do a two-step cleanse with oil first, then foam, and I loved how this cleanser thoroughly removed any remaining oiliness from the first step. - The scent is lovely! Some products can have strange fragrances, but this one has a fresh and light scent that somehow lifts my mood. - I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but since I started using this, the blackheads on my nose have noticeably faded. Given how many blackheads I had, I'm honestly thrilled. I can't say for certain if it's solely due to this product, but I plan to keep using it for another month to check on my blackhead situation. If they continue to improve, I'll finally settle on this product after years of being a foam cleanser nomad!
ConsWhen I first received and used this, my skin was very itchy, dry, irritated, and sensitive. Because of that, I initially found it stinging and itchy, and considered stopping use. However, I continued using it to write this review, and after about two or three uses, it became fine. I think this product might not suit those with more sensitive skin than mine. Apart from this point, I found it to be a very decent product, or rather, it was quite good for me!
TipPersonally, I recommend using this with a cleansing oil! Previously, no amount of cleansing oil could get rid of my blackheads, but as I mentioned above, using this product together with cleansing oil has significantly faded them. While this is just my personal experience, if blackheads are a concern for you, it might be worth giving this a try!

I apologize for missing the deadline! My skin type: Slightly oily T-zone, cheeks with deep dryness (no oil or moisture), extremely combination dehydrated skin, super sensitive, acne-prone. Product texture: Thick, like whipped cream. Application & Lather: After my skin broke out from alkaline foam cleansers, I switched to low pH ones. This feels different from typical squeaky-clean products. It's similar to Murlbiss foam cleanser - a creamy texture that doesn't produce rich lather. I tried using more product with more water, but it creates tiny, soft bubbles rather than big fluffy ones. It doesn't feel as thorough as alkaline cleansers - more like it's cleansing the surface rather than deep-cleaning pores. Moisture & Oil: No oiliness, and moisture is... interesting? Post-cleanse, it's not particularly hydrating but not drying either. It doesn't strip my skin's moisture. It leaves skin feeling comfortable and soft. Recommended for: Suitable for most, but especially good for combination dehydrated skin. Oily skin types might find it doesn't give that super-clean feeling. Fine for normal to dry skin, but not for extremely dry skin. Ingredients: Please check the ingredient list - there are some potentially pore-clogging and sensitive skin irritants. However, I didn't find it particularly irritating. Skin Irritation: Seems gentle, possibly because it's for acne-prone skin. It doesn't aggravate acne, but doesn't improve it either. I've included before and after photos - you can see there's not much difference. It's a safe, unremarkable product. Repurchase: I wouldn't buy it myself, but I'd use it if gifted. As someone with very sensitive skin, I'll use anything that doesn't cause irritation. It's not my preference since it doesn't give that refreshing clean feeling, but I might buy it if it was on sale for about $3.
ConsIngredients - mentioned above. While not irritating, it lacks the refreshing feel typical of alkaline cleansers. I'm not sure about its makeup removal capabilities when used alone, as I use it after oil cleansing. Note: Though likely unrelated to this product, I experienced some itching on my cheeks after switching to a mung bean foam cleanser. Previously, my skin was better than in the attached photos when I was alternating between Clederm Soothing Gel Foam and mung bean foam. The itching persists even after using only the mung bean foam for 3 days. It seems like dermatitis, but I'm unsure. Please keep this in mind.
TipSince it doesn't create fluffy lather naturally, use a foam net or use more product with plenty of water to create foam.

Texture & Particles: The foam lathers well even with a small amount and has a rich, creamy texture. The particles in this foam cleanser are very fine, giving an incredibly soft feeling during cleansing. It's like applying whipped cream to your face! Scent: The most distinctive feature of this foam cleanser is its scent! As a first-time user of a cica foam cleanser, I wondered if this was the typical cica scent. It has a slight herbal or forest-like aroma. The scent might be divisive, but I actually loved it because of its natural, earthy notes! Cleansing Effectiveness: While I didn't test it on makeup, it's certainly not weak in cleansing power! After washing, my skin felt clean and fresh, and surprisingly, not tight but moisturized. I usually use cleansing gels due to my sensitive skin, but this foam cleanser didn't cause any redness, so I felt comfortable using it. Blemishes: Having had good experiences with cica creams before, I had high hopes for this cica-infused product. Although I've only used it for about 10 days and haven't seen dramatic changes, my blemishes didn't worsen or increase! Value for Money: At 16,000 won for 150ml, it's priced similarly to other foam cleansers on the market. However, a little goes a long way, so it should last quite a while. If used only for evening cleansing, it's particularly good value. Overall Impression: I'm generally satisfied with this product. I liked the scent, and most importantly, the fine particles were gentle and non-irritating to my skin.
ConsI expected the ingredients to be gentle since it's a vegan product, but I found that it contains many potentially irritating components. Fortunately, my skin didn't react negatively, but this is why I deducted one star from my rating.
TipAs a Hwahae Tester, I used this product both morning and evening for evaluation purposes. However, I find it a bit too rich for morning use. Therefore, I recommend using it primarily as an evening cleanser.

The foam is incredibly soft, which means it's gentler on the skin and causes less irritation.
ConsWhile everything else is great, after rinsing, there's a feeling like a powder residue on my face... As it's meant to be gentle for sensitive skin, I wish it were slightly acidic. Please, I beg you, make a mildly acidic version!

I have combination dehydrated skin that's also super sensitive. I won this product through a Hwahae event and I'm writing this review after trying it out. Cleansing products are so closely tied to skin health, so I'll give you my honest, subjective review based on how it worked for my skin type. • Texture: The formula is incredibly gentle and lathers up nicely. The foam isn't super dense, but it cleanses softly, which was perfect for my sensitive skin. • Scent: It has a slightly floral scent. It's not unscented, but the fragrance is refreshing and uplifting! • Post-cleanse tightness: With my combination dehydrated skin, I usually experience dryness and tightness after washing. Even with low pH cleansers, I sometimes felt this, but this product left my skin feeling hydrated. • Skin condition after use: As a cleanser optimized for sensitive skin, it's great for calming blemishes and small bumps. The ingredients are really gentle, and it's vegan-certified, which really boosted my confidence in the product. If you use it consistently as part of your skincare routine, you'll see significant soothing effects on your skin. What I particularly loved about this product was how it felt when rinsing off. Some pore-minimizing or exfoliating cleansers left my skin feeling too squeaky clean and quickly dried out, while some low pH products felt so slippery I wasn't sure if I was actually cleansing. This product hit the sweet spot, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and clean without any residue.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked about it! The ingredients are so good that it was perfect for my sensitive skin. It's really hard to find any downsides to this product.
TipAs the weather got warmer, I started getting small bumps on my chest area. When showering, I used this cleansing foam on my chest instead of body wash! Consistent use definitely helped calm my skin. While no skincare product can deliver dramatic results overnight, this cleanser is made with gentle ingredients. If you use it regularly, you'll likely see soothing effects on sensitive skin.

I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive with severe deep dryness. I've only used cica in creams before, so this was my first time trying it in a foam cleanser! Lately, I've been struggling with increased redness and frequent blemishes. First off, the foam is incredibly soft and rich, which was a pleasure to use. The cleansing effectiveness is also above average! Being a vegan product made it even more trustworthy, and most importantly, there was minimal deep dryness after use, which I absolutely loved. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and cracked, but rather finishes with a fresh feel. Because it's not drying yet still refreshing, I think it would work well for combination dehydrated, dry, and oily skin types alike. It's gentle and mild, making it suitable for morning cleansing, and I also recommend it for evening double cleansing.
ConsHowever, I noticed I was consistently getting small bumps, and upon checking, I found it contains pore-clogging ingredients. That's a bit disappointing.

It also contains birch sap, celery, and lettuce extracts, which can contribute to skin calming and revitalization. What surprised me most was how incredibly soft the cleansing foam's texture is - it's like whipped cream bubbles! It's so gentle that you could apply it directly to your skin without needing a foam net. The centella scent isn't overpowering either, just a subtle herbal fragrance, so even those sensitive to scents should be able to use it without worry.
ConsThe most disappointing aspect has to be the ingredients... It claims to effectively cleanse excess sebum and pore impurities that can easily cause blemishes, and 'salicylic acid' is said to care for dead skin cells. However, I found out that salicylic acid, when used in high concentrations over a long period, can potentially irritate the skin. Also, as someone with oily skin, I checked the Hwahae app and discovered that there are three ingredients that might clog pores for oily skin types. That was a bit of a letdown.
TipGiven how soft the texture is, it might work well with a pore cleansing brush too!

I like to dissolve it in water to create a lather before cleansing. While it takes a bit longer to foam up due to its dense consistency, it feels like whipped cream with a high-quality texture. A small amount goes a long way. As soon as I applied it to my face, I noticed a lovely, subtle cica scent that was very pleasant. It had a gentle, herbal aroma that made me feel it would be mild on the skin. With the warmer weather and occasional fine dust these days, I'm so grateful to have been chosen as a Hwahae Tester for this Vive cleansing foam. Its fine particles seem perfect for removing fine dust, and it's comfortable to use even on hot days. After cleansing, before applying toner, I noticed that while it doesn't leave excessive moisture, my skin felt firm and supple. What I loved most was its gentle feel and the subtle, soothing cica fragrance. I'm looking forward to using it for a month or two to see how it performs long-term!
ConsAlthough it's a deep cleanser, it might be challenging to remove full makeup with just this foam cleanser alone.
TipFor best results, dissolve it in water to create a lather, then gently massage it onto your skin while cleansing!

With just a bit of water, it lathers up nicely, allowing for effective cleansing even with a small amount. [Scent] It has a medicinal smell. While you might think it's a cica scent, it's not like the usual cica ampoules or creams - it's an exceptionally strong medicinal odor. Even if you're not sensitive to scents, the strong medicinal smell during each wash might be hard to get used to. However, if you enjoy pharmaceutical scents, you might find it addictive...? [After-feel] As with most cleansing foams, expect some skin tightness after washing. For a foam that lathers so well, it doesn't cause immediate skin tightness after cleansing. (Previously used cleansing foams: Etude Soon Jung Cleansing Foam, Real Barrier Cleansing Foam) - Recommended if you want a product that lasts long, as a small amount produces sufficient foam - The rich, creamy lather allows for thorough cleansing of all areas
Cons- Despite being labeled as 'cica', it didn't show much effect in soothing blemishes. I had hoped it would help with the small bumps between my eyebrows, but saw no improvement. It doesn't remove excess sebum, so pimples continued to appear as usual. - The 'scent' is exceptionally strong. Among all the cleansing products I've used, this had the most difficult fragrance to get used to. Unless you enjoy the sharp, bitter smell typical of pharmaceuticals, even someone like me who isn't sensitive to scents found this product challenging.
TipPersonally, I use cleansing oil for removing sebum and blackheads, followed by foam cleansing. This product didn't leave my face feeling dry or tight, so it seems suitable for this routine.
