As someone with extremely oily skin - we're talking oil production even in the dead of winter with just toner on - I absolutely need to remove oil-based impurities daily! Especially BHA and LHA are essential for tackling those oil-soluble nasties..!! Here's my holy trinity for daily oil-busting for oily skin: 1) Benton Aloe BHA Toner 2) Bonajour Eggplant BHA Toner 3) Mary & May Mellow LHA Toner 1) and 3) have a runny texture, perfect for gentle daily use - even in the morning - to softly sweep away impurities. 2) contains alcohol, giving a refreshing and clean feel, but it can be a bit intense. I use it in the evening, either mixed with another toner for an exfoliating boost or every other day! Using these three products has really helped me keep those pesky little bumps, blemishes from dead skin cells, and excessive oiliness under control. My skin's in a much better place now! No real complaints. Oh, the dispenser opening is a bit small, so it tends to spill. A pump-style or even a hole-type opening would be better, I think. I haven't been using this for long, but wow! I was a bit skeptical at first since I'd never heard of an eggplant toner before, and I'm not particularly fond of eggplants. However, I was amazed at how it truly evens skin tone. It's not sticky at all and feels light when applied - perfect for everyday use! I really love it! If I had to nitpick, I'd say that as someone sensitive to scents, I noticed a very slight earthy smell. But honestly, it's not bothersome at all.

However, after a friend's recommendation, I decided to try a sample I received from the official website. I used it as an exfoliating toner instead of my usual gentle peeling treatment, which I typically did every two weeks. After the first use, when I applied this exfoliating toner followed by my serum, I could feel my skin becoming incredibly soft and smooth to the touch. Plus, I didn't experience any particular irritation. Being cautious due to my sensitive skin, I didn't use it daily. After about a week, I tried it again, using it once a day. During the second use, I felt a tingling sensation on my cheeks. By the third use, I noticed increased tingling and deep dryness in my cheeks, though my T-zone was fine. Also, since I know BHA can increase sun sensitivity, I think it's important to apply sunscreen diligently when using this during the day. I plan to use it a bit longer to determine if it's suitable for my sensitive, dry skin. I've been using this for 3-4 weeks now. The ingredients seem gentle, possibly due to the eggplant extract. It doesn't cause any blemishes and is generally quite agreeable. The price seems a bit steep for a toner. Initially, the scent might be polarizing, but once you get used to it, it actually feels quite nice. The king of exfoliation for combination dehydrated skin... I rarely use the same product twice, but I'm on my third bottle of this toner. I only use it in the evening, and while using it, I definitely get fewer blemishes or none at all. I have oily skin with dehydration, but I think it might be too drying for those with dry skin. This water-based toner containing BHA is great for gentle exfoliation when applied with a cotton pad, making it an excellent exfoliating toner Due to its lower BHA concentration, you might not notice dramatic dead skin cell removal effects. However, I found the clean finish quite satisfactory
