Pros
Since my skin was getting inflamed, I was looking for a pack that could quickly cool it down. Aloe vera turned out to be just right for my skin. After cleansing, I immediately applied the chilled gel and let it absorb, and my reddened face was instantly soothed. The trouble spots also calmed down, which was great. Other aloe vera gel products tend to dry out, so I have to apply skincare right after. The Doctoroga one has less dryness, and there's no annoying peeling pack that comes off afterwards, which I liked. The only downside is that the volume is small, so I go through it quickly.

The soothing gel I used before had poor moisturizing power, so I couldn't use it as a cream substitute. Pros
I'm a typical heavy-handed person, so I've tried a lot of soothing gels! I think the biggest advantages of this product are: First, it's great for makeup application! Other soothing gels tend to get pushed around when applying makeup, but this one doesn't have that issue! Even when I have to wear a mask for work, I still need to do my makeup, and other soothing gels would get pushed around like a mess. But this one doesn't have that problem, so that's personally the biggest plus for me! Second, it has a clear soothing effect! When I have acne that I've popped, I apply this gel thickly like a pack, and you can visibly see my skin calming down! It's not that the acne disappears, but I get a sense that the irritated areas are being soothed. Third is the spreadability - to be honest, I can't really feel a difference in spreadability compared to other soothing gels. It has a light, airy feel, which I suppose is a characteristic of soothing gels. Fourth is the moisture - I did find the moisture level quite satisfactory. I definitely get a hydrated, dewy feeling.
