It's so hydrating and lovely.
ConsIt seems like a pretty average soothing gel. There's nothing particularly good or bad about it.

The biggest advantage is that it's free from harmful ingredients. Even if it doesn't suit you perfectly, you can be confident it won't cause any severe skin reactions. 2. It provides excellent hydration. Just looking at the formula, you can tell it's packed with moisture.
ConsThe absorption is a bit slow, so your face might feel slightly sticky after application. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints.

I think I've been using the aloe soothing gel for about 5 years now. It's moisturizing, not watery, and I absolutely love it. It's way better than other similar products.
ConsThe disappointing part was the delivery... It arrived in terrible condition, which was really frustrating. The package reeked of fish, which was extremely unpleasant. As for the product itself, I don't have any complaints, but I wish they would make a larger size available.
TipIt seems to help when I apply a generous amount to areas with blemishes.

Since it contains aloe, it seems particularly effective for soothing the skin.
ConsIt feels like it doesn't absorb well into the skin. You need to take your time and apply it thoroughly for better results.

It works wonders on cheek redness and irritated, red skin. I was initially worried it might not suit me, so I bought the small 60ml size from Coupang. After using it for about a week, I loved it so much that I purchased the 210ml bottle. When you apply it, it feels very hydrating, but as time passes, it becomes a bit more matte, so you might need to reapply or finish with another cream. However, since my skin is super sensitive, I can't use anything else, so I just reapply this. It's really fantastic. In winter, you might need to finish with a moisturizing cream.
ConsNone. It's the best aloe product out there. However, like other aloe gels, you might need to finish with a moisturizing cream.
TipUsing this product itself is a skincare tip. The soothing effect is incredible. It's great for redness and skin that feels hot or flushed.

My troubled skin, which didn't respond to toners and emulsions, has significantly improved with this aloe product. In the morning, I just dab on a bit of aloe instead of my usual skincare routine, and it keeps my skin beautifully hydrated under makeup.
ConsBe cautious about applying too much before makeup, as it might cause pilling. A little goes a long way!
TipIf aloe agrees with your skin, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

Effects (1) Soothing heat sensation When it comes to calming the skin and reducing heat, I believe nothing beats aloe, and this product certainly delivers. It absorbs quickly, with a slightly more hydrating finish compared to other aloe gel products. I felt it retained moisture better. It's excellent for soothing when applied thickly during flare-ups. (2) Hydration To get sufficient hydration from aloe gel products, you usually need to apply and absorb 3-4 times. While this product doesn't absorb super fast for an aloe gel, which can be a bit inconvenient, repeating the process fills your skin with more hydration than a regular toner. However, aloe gel seems best used primarily for its soothing effects. 2. Texture/Application (1) Irritation level My skin has been extremely sensitive lately, with redness, itching, and slight stinging around my eyes and cheeks. This product did sting a bit in those areas and caused some itching, but it subsided after about 3 minutes. Interestingly, areas that don't sting when I apply my Aestura emulsion do sting with this aloe gel. I think the product itself is formulated to be very gentle. The Dr. Alga brand seems to focus on clean ingredients and natural formulations, so I believe they've been meticulous about minimizing irritation. (2) Feel/Residue It has a slightly runny consistency. The finish is a bit sticky at first, but once fully absorbed, only a tiny bit of moisture remains. Absorption is slower compared to other aloe gels. However, it becomes stickier with each additional layer. It's that glycerin-like stickiness. This aspect makes me hesitant to repurchase. (3) Scent There's a slight hint of alcohol, but it disappears almost instantly. 3. Packaging/Design It comes in a large 210ml transparent tube, which is great for checking the remaining product. The design is simple and pleasant. I hope they continue with the tube packaging rather than switching to a pump. 4. Key Ingredients (1) Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice: Hydration, Soothing Dr. Alga's aloe gel contains about 82% aloe vera leaf juice. While there are products with over 90% content, I chose this one because it uses USDA-certified organic aloe leaf juice. Some cheaper products with higher aloe content might use lower quality aloe sources. I appreciate the use of reliable ingredients. (2) Centella Asiatica Extract: Soothing The product description on the website mentions 64.33% Centella Asiatica extract instead of purified water, but the ingredient list shows purified water, broccoli extract, and green tea extract higher than Centella Asiatica extract.
ConsI enjoy applying a thick layer of aloe as a mask, but this product doesn't work well for that as it becomes extremely sticky. The more you layer it, the less it absorbs and the greasier it becomes. The last photo shows how sticky it gets after applying and absorbing three times - it's like I've smeared pure glycerin on my face.

I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through. I apply it right after washing my face instead of using toner.
ConsThe only good thing is the price. I wish it were a bit cheaper. Please have sales more often!

It feels refreshingly cool and leaves your skin wonderfully hydrated when applied.
ConsWhile it does provide a cool and moisturizing sensation, the hydration doesn't last as long as I'd like. However, it's still great for calming the skin, especially during the summer months.

High-density gel texture. Applies smoothly and feels hydrating. Momentary moisturizing effect after application. Contains mild ingredients. While it doesn't harm the skin, it doesn't significantly improve its condition either.
ConsLimited soothing effect. Lacks deep and surface hydration. Feels sticky as it absorbs. Makes applying the next step cream uncomfortable. Purchased as part of a shipping deal, but the effects were so minimal it made me briefly wonder if I received a different product than advertised.
TipNo notable advantages, uncomfortable to use, and relatively expensive. Won't be repurchasing.
