It's so rich and clings to the skin with a delightful, plumping sensation!
ConsThe scent might be polarizing. Personally, I like it - it has a subtle woody aroma.

I think it would be great for sensitive skin types since it's fragrance-free and doesn't contain any common allergens. The packaging is so sleek that it would make a perfect gift for friends. I loved how it looked clean and elegant no matter where I placed it!
ConsDue to its snot-like consistency, I found it a bit disappointing that it dripped heavily when applying to the skin. Also, since it doesn't absorb immediately, I don't think it's suitable as an exfoliating toner. Instead, it worked better as a heavier toner mask to use after cleansing!
TipThis yam-based hydrating toner really combats deep dryness, instantly giving my skin a radiant glow and smooth appearance. It completely transformed my skin, making it firm and supple! Although I received this as a sample, I'm seriously considering purchasing it myself. If you found my review helpful, please give it a thumbs up!

It reminds me of those cream toners I enjoy. I'll likely repurchase once I finish this bottle.
ConsI haven't found any downsides yet, but if I notice anything that doesn't sit well with me as I continue using it, I'll be sure to update!
TipEven though it's a toner, it's amazing when you pat it in until it's fully absorbed.

I was thrilled to get the chance to try it as part of The Hwahae Testers! 1. Texture (Feel): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - With yam extract as the base instead of purified water, the texture screams 'yam' from the get-go! It has this wonderfully stretchy, bouncy consistency. Rather than sticky, I'd describe it as silky smooth. Initially, I thought its rich texture would suit dry skin types best, but surprisingly, it felt lightweight and incredibly hydrating even on my oily skin. While it feels super silky during application, there's no residue or stickiness after absorption. What I loved most was how effectively it addressed deep dryness. I believe this product could satisfy all skin types year-round. I especially recommend it as a first essence after cleansing for those struggling with dehydrated skin! Scent: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - It's fragrance-free! I couldn't detect any scent at all, not even from the raw ingredients. While I personally enjoy a pleasant aroma when applying skincare, isn't a fragrance-free formula better for the skin? I'm satisfied with this aspect. Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The product description didn't focus on skin-soothing properties, so I only expected hydration. However, it turned out to be quite calming too! When I applied it with a cotton pad on areas with emerging blemishes and redness, I noticed visible improvement the next day. With continued use, I could see my skin texture improving and felt like my skin barrier was being restored. I think this might be due to the high concentration of panthenol.
ConsWhile I couldn't find any faults with the product itself, its accessibility is somewhat disappointing. It's such an excellent product, yet it's only available online. I wish I could see it in drugstores like Olive Young or LaLa Blah.
TipWhen I used it with a cotton pad, it worked wonderfully as a gentle exfoliating toner without any irritation. While it's great for absorption, I also recommend using it as an exfoliating toner occasionally! Also, when your skin feels unstable, try soaking a cotton pad or sheet mask with this toner and leaving it on - you'll notice a significant improvement in your skin's condition the next day.

This makes it excellent for hydration and feels very moisturizing. When applying and after application, there's a bouncy, elastic feeling. However, it's different from a sticky sensation. * Moisturizing power: Due to its essence-like formula, it doesn't dry out quickly like some watery formulas can. The moisturizing effect seems to last longer. This type of formula is indeed great for hydration. * Irritation level: It feels extremely gentle without any stinging or irritating sensation. * Fragrance: It's unscented, which is fantastic. I prefer fragrance-free products as fragrances can be harmful and give me headaches, so I'm particularly pleased with this. * Blemishes: Despite its slightly thick consistency and high moisturizing power, which could potentially cause blemishes, I experienced absolutely no issues with breakouts. * Ingredients: I'm thrilled to find a product with such high hydration power without any harmful ingredients. Perhaps that's why it feels so gentle on the skin.
Cons* Texture: Those who prefer the cool feeling and texture of acne care products might find this a bit heavy or sticky, though I personally enjoyed its moisturizing effect. It's not a watery toner, so those looking for that type of product should keep this in mind. * Moisturizing power: While it's extremely moisturizing for a toner, it still has its limits. As someone with very dry skin, I naturally need to follow up with a cream or similar product.
TipI was surprised by the bouncy, elastic feeling, which was different from any toner I've used before. I've tried many highly moisturizing toners that moms use, but this felt different from their sticky texture.

And it provides maximum hydration? I had to buy it right away! I used to only use watery toners, but when I went to Olive Young, the staff highly recommended a snail mucin-textured toner. I have to admit, the product's effectiveness is undeniable! However, the problem with snail mucin textures is that they're harder to use up quickly. After a few months, they tend to get even stickier, which makes me reluctant to use them. So I thought I'd have to go back to watery toners next time. That's when I discovered this product. The texture is unique - it's like snail mucin but without the stickiness. There's no particular scent, but the hydration is incredible. It absorbs quickly, making my skin feel better instantly. I confidently recommend this product to anyone tired of snail mucin textures!
ConsTo be honest, there's nothing really disappointing about it. Personally, I prefer products with a fragrance. While the lack of scent isn't a big issue, if I had to nitpick, that would be the only thing.
TipAfter cleansing, apply this product once and pat it in for absorption. Repeat this process. If you have time, do it once more for best results.

So I didn't use it as an exfoliating toner, but rather applied it by gently patting it in with a thin cotton pad or using it as a toner pack. Scent - I'm quite sensitive to strong fragrances, but this is nearly unscented and didn't bother me at all! Absorption - It takes longer to absorb than an exfoliating toner, but if you pat it in well, you can feel the nourishment sinking into your skin. Irritation - I didn't experience any at all. Overall - I would definitely repurchase. As you can see from my before and after photos, this was the only product I changed in my routine, and look how much it calmed down those tiny bumps! I don't even have particularly sensitive skin, but I couldn't figure out why I was getting these little bumps. Turns out this has a soothing effect too! I highly recommend this for anyone dealing with seasonal dryness or those who find very light toners too drying. It provides great hydration!
ConsThe container has a screw-top lid which is really inconvenient! Also, the opening is quite low, so it tends to spill. I think it would be much better if they changed the packaging.
TipFor best results, gently pat it into your skin or use it as a pack with very thin cotton pads! It's great for calming the skin.

Combats dryness effectively This moisturizing toner truly lives up to its name. It's excellent for dry skin, especially for deep hydration. Recently, my skin felt tight after cleansing, and I was considering switching toners. After using the D'YEON Yam Moisture Toner, I noticed a significant improvement. It even helped reduce redness. 2. Rich, bouncy texture The texture is more bouncy than watery. Perhaps it's due to the yam extract, but it has a satisfyingly rich feel. However, it doesn't feel sticky at all. Instead, it gives a nice coating sensation on the skin. 3. Skin-friendly ingredients I appreciate that it's free from allergens and harmful ingredients. Despite having sensitive skin, I experienced no blemishes or irritation while using this product. In fact, it seemed to improve my skin by providing ample hydration. 4. Generous amount While the size might be too large for travel, it's perfect for home use. The quantity is more than sufficient for regular use.
ConsCons: I didn't notice any significant drawbacks while using this product. If I had to mention one, it might be that it takes a bit longer to absorb compared to more watery toners. However, as someone who likes to massage the toner into my skin, I didn't find this particularly inconvenient.

Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin Post-pregnancy, I've been experiencing deep dryness and more blemishes, especially sensitivity around the mouth area. Texture: When I first dispensed the product, it had a slightly sticky texture like an ampoule. It had that unique, stringy consistency of yam - you could actually see it stretching! But surprisingly, when applied to the skin, it absorbs quickly without any stickiness. I usually don't prefer toners that feel too rich, so I was a bit worried. However, after applying and letting it absorb 2-3 times, it didn't feel heavy at all. It was refreshing, like my usual toner but with added hydration! Seeing the name 'Yam Toner', I initially thought it might be too heavy for daytime use and might cause my makeup to pill, so I considered using it only in my nighttime routine. But it turns out it's great for use anytime without any burden! Scent: Fragrance-free Personally, I don't like skincare products with strong scents. No matter how closely I sniff this one, I can't detect any fragrance... which I love! Effects: It's a functional cosmetic for wrinkle improvement and brightening. Lately, my skin has been super sensitive, so I've been using mostly soothing products. This toner definitely boosts hydration, helping to balance my skin's oil and moisture levels. It significantly reduced redness and caused no irritation, which I really appreciate! (Of course, individual results may vary!)
ConsPackaging: Given that toners are one of the most frequently used skincare products, I think a flip-top cap would be more convenient to use than the current screw-top design.
TipWhen I applied the Yam Toner before bed or before using a sheet mask, I felt like the hydration level increased by 100 compared to my usual routine!

The medication causes dryness as a side effect, but this product combats it exceptionally well. Application: Consistency is like a runny nose! I love how it feels plump when applying. Highly recommend if you prefer a bouncy finish. Absorption: While absorption could be better, it's great for soothing after exfoliation. Moisturization: Perfect for winter use. Those with oily skin might want to avoid it in summer.
ConsNot suitable for oily skin types. Although it has a plump texture, it's slightly rich, so those who prefer a matte, powder-like finish should avoid it.
TipStore in the refrigerator and use as a skin pack on dry areas.
