The coverage was impressive and it adhered well to my skin. Overall, it was a solid performer. Controlling the amount was tricky. If you're not careful, it can accentuate dead skin cells and make your face look patchy. This foundation seems to offer good coverage and staying power, which are positive attributes. However, the difficulty in application and potential to highlight skin texture issues are drawbacks to consider. It might require some practice to achieve the right balance for a flawless finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 24, 2025
The coverage is so good you can skip concealer and just use this product alone. Even in the afternoon, there's no significant change, so touch-ups aren't necessary. As someone with oily skin, I find myself reaching for blotting papers more often with this product in summer compared to others. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2025
If you're concerned about blemishes, I highly recommend this cushion! The coverage is absolutely amazing! Just make sure to order a shade darker than usual. I typically use shade 21 for other cosmetics, but I thought it was too light. So I ordered Medium to match my complexion, but that didn't work out. I had to reorder a different shade. There's a bit of pore-clogging, but it smooths out nicely as you touch up. I have combination dehydrated skin, so it can get a bit oily. But the coverage is so good that I'm willing to overlook that. Be sure to order a shade darker than your usual complexion! While some say it darkens over time, I think this brand aims for a natural base. So rather than darkening, it just starts off a bit deeper in tone from the beginning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 18, 2025
In the winter, my initial thought when I applied it was that it went on thinly, and over time there was a slightly floating sensation, but the coverage and staying power were both good. After trying the cover layer thingy, the product I bought definitely has lower coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2025
My skin is flushed and dry, but if I apply this thinly, it covers everything smoothly and gives a pearl-like glow. It's a bit difficult to get the last bit when it's used up, and I wish there was one more puff included. Buy Daiso puffs and use them, or dab the remaining amount with a foundation brush. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2025
I tried this product for the first time and used it as soon as it arrived. I absolutely love how thin and lightweight it feels. The coverage isn't bad either! The staying power is a bit disappointing. When I put on a mask without using a makeup fixer or powder, it rubbed off quite a bit. A makeup fixer is an absolute must! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2025
I have shade 23, which is on the darker side, and since I don't have many blemishes, I always choose cushions based on how beautifully they wear off rather than coverage. This cushion fits that criteria perfectly. It doesn't settle into the creases around my nose much. Even when it does, it wears off so elegantly. It's truly a gem that works hard for your skin! I wish they'd specify clearly on the package if it has a yellow undertone! I don't usually go for yellow-based products, but this one's skin finish is so exceptional that I can overlook it. It gives your face a porcelain-like finish. It's wonderfully hydrating without being excessive. It puts other so-called 'moisturizing' cushions to shame. However, if you apply powder blush over it, it might cake up a bit. For a perfect match, choose a baked blush and apply it with a sponge. Forget all that talk about 'Inner Glow' - this combination is all you need. Go for something like Clinique blushers! Make sure to pick one with some shimmer. Apply it with a sponge, and you'll realize this cushion was made for this exact purpose. All in all, its skin finish is absolutely outstanding. It's in a league of its own when it comes to complexion enhancement. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2025
The first day I applied it and went out, it was absolutely amazing. Everyone I met asked what I was using because my skin looked so good. It had just the right amount of hydration without being too matte. The texture was perfect for application. The coverage is also excellent - you can conceal everything with just this product alone. The darkening effect is truly legendary... in the worst way possible. After a while, it's like you've applied dirt to your face. The color is already dark, and since I have oily skin, it seems even worse. I realize now that on the first day, when everyone complimented my skin, we were in a dimly lit bar. It's such a waste of money. Even when I apply it thinly and layer a lighter cushion on top that doesn't usually cause darkening, the effect is still extreme. I always end up looking like I'm covered in dirt. It's heartbreaking because I love the coverage, the color, and how it feels, but the darkening makes it unusable. If it weren't for the darkening, I'd dare say this would be the best cushion of my life. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 31, 2025
It adheres well to the skin, provides great coverage, and is super moisturizing - perfect for dry skin types! Honestly, you need to buy one or even two shades lighter than your actual complexion. It's seriously way too dark. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
As expected from a steady seller, the overall user experience was really good. The coverage is quite high compared to recent products, the adherence is decent, and the staying power is good, making it a nice choice for winter and transitional seasons. Jung Saem Mool products definitely have color shades more like foreign cosmetics. I was surprised at how incredibly dark the medium shade was. Make sure to check the color before purchasing, and be careful when applying as it can look unattractive if it breaks down, so you need to apply it thinly and carefully.
