Even with my dry skin and minimal skincare routine, this foundation didn't flake or look patchy. The adherence was perfect! I highly recommend this to anyone who usually wears shades 21-23! It caused some darkening, and the amount feels a bit small for the price. This foundation works hard to provide excellent coverage and a flawless finish. It evens out the complexion beautifully, absorbs well into the skin, and doesn't leave any sticky residue. The formula seems to balance oil and moisture effectively, giving a natural glow without emphasizing pores or causing irritation. It's particularly suitable for those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin types. However, be mindful of potential blemishes or allergic reactions, and consider layering with a brightening moisturizer for an added Inner Glow effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 29, 2025
The coverage was impressive and it adhered well to my skin. Overall, it was a solid performer. Controlling the amount was tricky. If you're not careful, it can accentuate dead skin cells and make your face look patchy. This foundation seems to offer good coverage and staying power, which are positive attributes. However, the difficulty in application and potential to highlight skin texture issues are drawbacks to consider. It might require some practice to achieve the right balance for a flawless finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 15, 2025
Texture & Application The cushion's content has a slightly fluid, hydrating essence-like texture. When pressed with the puff, it doesn't transfer too much product, but applies thinly and evenly. The application is incredibly smooth and blends effortlessly, almost as if it's melting into my skin. Its excellent adherence allows for a beautiful skin finish without requiring any special technique. ⸻ Coverage & Skin Finish This product focuses on a 'natural skin-like finish' rather than full coverage. • It conceals about 70-80% of blemishes and redness, with the rest subtly peeking through, resulting in a healthier, more realistic skin appearance. • Even with just one layer, it covers imperfections to some extent while creating a luminous semi-glow finish. Surprisingly, it layers beautifully without caking, allowing for very natural build-up. It truly lives up to its reputation as the gold standard for 'texture expression' from a makeup artist brand. ⸻ Color [Medium] Experience I used the color **[Medium]**, which: • Is a neutral beige that blends naturally with medium skin tones (between shade 22-23). • Balances out redness in ruddy skin and doesn't look too ashy on yellow-toned skin - it's a really well-crafted shade. It's perfect for when you want to even out your skin tone while maintaining a natural glow. ⸻ Longevity & Pilling • Initially, it gives a dewy, beautiful glow, but over time it settles into a subtle radiance that breaks down naturally. • It might not suit those seeking a completely matte base, but if you want skin that looks even better as time passes, you'll be satisfied. • However, for oily skin or in hot weather, it may break down around the nose and T-zone. For oily skin types, I recommend setting with powder or using a fixer. ⸻ Overall Assessment • Pros: - Natural and sophisticated skin finish - Thin application with high adherence - Beautiful radiance with semi-glow finish - Skin-like coverage - Even when it breaks down, it does so beautifully and naturally • Cons: - Might feel slightly rich for oily skin - The puff tends to absorb some product - Limited coverage for dark circles/prominent blemishes ⸻ In conclusion, 'Thin and lightweight, yet sophisticated and flawless skin expression'. This cushion is perfect for those who want to look like they naturally have good skin, rather than looking heavily made up. 1. Might feel slightly heavy for oily skin While the glow is great for dry to normal skin, it may feel a bit heavy or break down faster on oily skin. In such cases, I recommend lightly setting with a 'long-wear setting powder'! 2. The puff absorbs product slightly The included puff is nicely dense, but it tends to soak up some of the product. It's best to be careful with product control. Some people even opt to use a different puff. 3. Not for complete blemish coverage While it creates a beautiful skin finish, for dark spots, dark circles, or inflamed blemishes, you'll need to pair it with a concealer for higher satisfaction. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 3, 2025
I loved it so much after trying it that I even gifted it to my mom! It adheres well to the skin and feels nicely hydrating. The cushion seems to contain a bit less product than expected. It feels like it'll run out quickly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 31, 2025
It adheres well to the skin, provides great coverage, and is super moisturizing - perfect for dry skin types! Honestly, you need to buy one or even two shades lighter than your actual complexion. It's seriously way too dark. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 14, 2025
I use shade 23 and the Medium matches my complexion perfectly! First off, the adherence is amazing and the coverage exceeds expectations. It's moderately moisturizing, so the hydration isn't bad at all. There's hardly any darkening, and it doesn't break down or separate even after hours of wear. This could have been my holy grail cushion... I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, and the biggest drawback is... my skin completely flared up after using this. That's why I deducted one star. It seems to work fine for others, so I guess it depends on the individual. If you have very severe acne-prone skin, I strongly recommend at least testing it before purchasing. The reason for the skin flare-up might be due to the higher content of stearic acid compared to other cushions. This ingredient can clog pores. Those with oily, acne-prone skin should carefully check for the presence of stearic acid when buying cushions to avoid blemish breakouts. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2025
I'm almost finished with the full-size product, and I must say it adheres well to the skin, effectively covering pores and blemishes. The finish is pleasantly matte. The 'Medium' shade is too dark. I'd recommend going one or two shades lighter. Also, be aware that it tends to oxidize a bit. Perhaps due to my oily skin, some shine does come through, so I need to set it with powder to maintain a clean look. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2025
I use shade 22 and the color is perfect for me. While it's not super lightweight, it adheres well to the skin and offers decent coverage. Like other cushions, it doesn't apply in an ultra-thin layer, so if you apply a thick base, it can pill. I recommend using it when your skin is in good condition. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2024
It adheres well to the skin and doesn't feel heavy, which I really appreciate The coverage isn't great, so you'll need to use a separate concealer for areas that need more coverage. Also, it tends to darken over time - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2024
1. Natural and lightweight coverage True to its name 'Skin Nuder', it adheres to the skin like a second skin. It doesn't look like you're wearing a cushion foundation, instead it makes your complexion appear naturally flawless. The medium tone, in particular, isn't overly light like typical Korean products, but has a natural beige undertone that matched my skin tone perfectly. 2. Dewy skin finish After application, my skin doesn't feel dry but maintains a hydrated feel, making it suitable for dry skin types. Even as time passes, it doesn't become excessively oily or patchy, and I love how it maintains a subtle glow. 3. Graceful wear-off Even after wearing it all day, it doesn't break apart or leave patches when it starts to fade. Instead, it seems to melt into the skin naturally. Touch-ups are smooth without any pilling, leaving a neat finish. 4. Case design I'm fond of the simple yet luxurious case design. The size is just right for carrying around, and it gives off a sophisticated vibe when you take it out. 1. The puff could be better While the puff is soft, it's a bit challenging to evenly apply the formula. I noticed the product tends to concentrate on one side of the puff or doesn't spread uniformly. However, since you can easily replace the puff, I don't consider this a significant drawback. Personally, I highly recommend this product! Jung Saem Mool's Skin Nuder Cushion is an excellent choice for those seeking a natural and translucent skin finish. The medium tone, in particular, complements Asian skin tones perfectly, providing subtle correction without looking overdone!
