This is an absolute must-have before winter makeup, especially for those with dry skin! You know how winter can be tough on our skin - indoor heating and the dry air can really make it crack and flake. But since I've started using this water cream, I've forgotten what chapped skin even feels like! I'm a big fan of that dewy, glass skin look, so I always make sure my skincare routine is on point. This water cream takes that glow to the next level. The best part? My makeup stays put from morning to night - no sliding, no pilling, just perfect! The scent isn't quite my cup of tea - it reminds me a bit of that classic "dad" cologne smell. I think it would be even better if it were fragrance-free. Other than that, I have no complaints! If you're dealing with combination dehydrated skin or you're a super sensitive skin type, this water cream could be your new best friend. It provides excellent hydration without feeling heavy or sticky, and it absorbs well into the skin. The formula helps even out your complexion and gives you that coveted "Inner Glow" without causing any irritation or redness. It's a great base for layering your skincare and makeup, helping to prevent that deep dryness feeling throughout the day. - vl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 3, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, I've used this for over three bottles without any blemishes. It's working great even in this hot weather! For me, who tends to have bad reactions to skincare, MMD was too drying and required a lot of product. Jung Saem Mool works better for dry skin, while MMD is more suitable for those with oilier skin types. The fragrance seems quite strong, possibly due to the high content of aromatic ingredients. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I wish the fragrance could be removed. A subtle, hydrating Inner Glow that can be used instead of a highlighter! - cr*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 3, 2025
This product is fantastic! When my skin feels dry or my makeup starts to crack, applying this before makeup makes everything better. I absolutely adore it - it's a must-have for those with dry skin! It wasn't great during winter. It felt like it added more oil without providing hydration, leaving my skin feeling parched underneath. You really need to be careful with how much you apply. I wouldn't recommend using this when your skin is acting up. It seems to make blemishes worse, unfortunately. The original text mentions "화장" (makeup) and "건성" (dry skin), which I've incorporated into the translation. I've also interpreted "피부화장 갈라질 때" as makeup cracking, which is a common issue for those with dry skin. The phrase "피부안이 너무 건조했어요" was translated to convey the feeling of skin being dry underneath the product. Lastly, I replaced the sad face emojis with "unfortunately" to maintain the emotional tone without using emojis. - se*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2025
It glides on smoothly, but it's not the type that absorbs quickly! When applied before makeup, it helps prevent your foundation from separating. Perhaps due to its rich texture, it can occasionally cause blemishes. The heaviness is both its strength and weakness. This product has a nice application but doesn't absorb rapidly into the skin. It's great for creating a smooth base for makeup, effectively preventing foundation from looking patchy. However, its heavier consistency, while beneficial for some, can potentially lead to breakouts for others. This dual nature of the product's thickness makes it a double-edged sword - perfect for some skin types, but potentially problematic for others. - wl*********Dry SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2025
After using it for about two weeks, I noticed my skin, which was previously tight due to dryness, felt more hydrated. Now, even with just this as my base product, I'm getting that coveted "Inner Glow" effect. So far, I haven't found any downsides. I don't think I'll find anything to complain about even with continued use. It's great value for money. - x_****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 26, 2025
This is truly a life-changing base product. As someone with dry skin, I never noticed much difference with other bases until I discovered Jung Saem Mool's Water Cream. It's been an absolute game-changer! Even with a solid skincare routine, my dry, peach fuzz-prone skin always looked cakey with makeup. But when I apply foundation over this Water Cream, my makeup adheres beautifully! The finish is delightfully bouncy, feeling like it's melting into my skin. It's so effective that your hair might stick to it if you don't set it properly! I have dry skin but prefer a matte complexion, and the difference this Water Cream makes with matte foundations, cushions, and powders is remarkable! Before, my stubborn self would tolerate flaky, cracked skin for the sake of a matte look. Now, with this Water Cream, it's like a much-needed rainfall during a drought. Please, never discontinue this product! I'm begging you! There are no negative points to mention. This review highlights the product's effectiveness for dry skin types, its ability to create a smooth base for makeup application, and its compatibility with matte finish products. The reviewer emphasizes the transformative effect on their makeup routine and strongly advocates for the product's continued availability. - ej*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 23, 2025
My skin was so dry that dead skin cells kept flaking off when I applied makeup, but after using this water cream, my cushion foundation adheres perfectly. I'm so pleased with the results! While the scent wasn't quite to my liking, the product's effectiveness more than makes up for it. I'll likely be repurchasing this every time! This hydrating moisturizer seems to work wonders for dry, flaky skin, improving makeup application significantly. Despite the fragrance not being a personal favorite, the overall performance of the product is impressive enough to overlook this minor drawback. - sm********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 23, 2025
After applying, it definitely helps the base adhere well. There's also a subtle glow that makes your skin look healthy and vibrant. When I first used it, I felt some itching on my face. It turns out I wasn't the only one - my friend tried mine and said it was itchy too. Of course, after using it a few times, the itchy sensation went away. (No blemishes appeared though) Rather than applying with your hands, using a foundation brush to apply and then gently patting it seems to give better adherence and a more even application. - ae******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 19, 2025
My skin is dry. I bought it in the winter and I'm still using it! When I apply sunscreen, base, and foundation, my makeup ends up caking. But ever since I bought the water cream, I haven't seen my makeup caking anymore. The base also absorbs well, and foundation goes on nicely over it. There really wasn't anything in particular. I haven't been able to find any shortcomings yet. - 07****Combination SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2025
At first, it was an ambiguous item, but when used during the seasonal change, the skin expression is so beautiful! I'm applying sunscreen and using it only on the cheeks, and as time goes by, the luminous feeling builds up, making it even better. I'm planning to use it diligently before summer arrives. The more time you take to absorb, the less it will crumble!! If you raise it too quickly, the base will become mushy and clump together.
