This toner pad is perfect for dry skin in winter. It's hydrating and reduces dryness, so I used it with great results. It doesn't cause blemishes and seems well-suited for very dry skin types. Unfortunately, it might be difficult to use this product in seasons other than winter for my skin type, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2021
It's wonderfully moisturizing and gentle on the skin. The hydration is top-notch, and I'm relieved that it didn't cause any blemishes. With its mild ingredients, I highly recommend it! I bought this because I heard it was generous with the essence, but honestly, it's almost too much! Still, I suppose having extra is better than not enough, so I'll be content with that. You might already know this tip, but I'll share it anyway! It works great as a mask. I personally use it for about 5-10 minutes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 1, 2020
I experienced significant skin-soothing effects. Whenever my skin felt dry or heated, using this quickly calmed it down. As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I was pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes and left my skin feeling hydrated. Since these are moisturizing pads, they're quite rich. I'd recommend them for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinApr 10, 2020
I love Dermatory Cica Pads, but I wanted to try something new this time! As someone with dry skin, I absolutely adore how moisturizing these pads are. Derma pads are known for their generous essence, so I use them liberally, almost like an overnight mask. The next morning, my skin feels deeply hydrated to its core! As widely known, the gentle ingredients didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. The pads are quite large, so using two is enough to cover the whole face. If you're just using them for wiping, one pad should suffice! These pads are really hydrating and have a slightly rich texture, so they might feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin. I wouldn't really recommend them for oily skin types. However, I highly recommend them for normal to dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2020
I have sensitive combination skin. Regarding irritation and blemishes: I bought this after checking the ingredients, and after using it, I didn't experience any irritation or blemishes. Application: This is both a pro and a con - there's so much essence that it's quite sticky, and when you put the pad on your face, the essence drips off. It feels like you need to add more pads to use up all the essence. Absorption: Since the essence is on the stickier side, I wouldn't say it absorbs quickly. However, if you use it as a mask by leaving the pad on your skin, it absorbs well, albeit slowly. Hydration: The hydration is good. Each pad is so saturated with essence that if you help it absorb well, it seems to be an excellent pad for hydration. I think one pad could be enough for your entire skincare routine before makeup. These days, because of COVID, we often wear masks when going out, so this kind of skincare product is actually very useful. While it's both an advantage and disadvantage, there's so much essence compared to the pad size that when you apply it to your skin with your hands, it feels a bit sticky and drips, which can be uncomfortable. That's why they include tweezers, and it's easy to store, so you end up using the tweezers. Usually, even when pads come with tweezers, I just use my hands to take out one at a time, but with this one, I find myself actually using the tweezers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2020
- Review from The Hwahae Testers My routine for about 2 weeks: Every evening, toner - hydrating ampoule - moisturizing cream pad - Ingredients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First off, I was satisfied because the ingredients weren't bad at all! Since it's a moisturizing pad, I was worried it might be too oily and cause blemishes, but it seems to have a good balance of both oil and moisture content. I originally had some blemishes on my face, but after using this, they neither worsened nor improved! - Hydration ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Even though winter is ending, it's still quite dry. I applied a hydrating ampoule before the pad, and I barely felt any dryness. - Volume & Texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The texture is just like a pack or ampoule, and the volume is enormous as you can see! It's so saturated that it drips when you lift the pad, so once you've used all the pads, you could even soak cotton pads in the remaining essence. Plus, it comes with tongs, which is great for hygiene! - Soothing Effect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maybe because I kept it in the fridge, but it seemed to calm my usual redness to some extent! I could see that my redness was less noticeable in the morning. Hmm... I haven't found any downsides yet, but I'll update if I notice anything while using it. Keep it in the fridge for use! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2020
The Hwahae Testers My face is sensitive, and if I use the wrong skincare product, I often get small blemishes. So far, I haven't had any issues with this product (I'll update if any problems arise). I've heard it's best not to refrigerate skincare products unless specifically instructed, so I keep this at room temperature. However, when my cheeks feel hot, I pop a pad in the fridge for a bit. Placing the cool pad on my cheeks not only fills them with hydration but also helps bring down the temperature, which feels great. There's an incredibly generous amount of essence. When using, I squeeze a bit onto the pad, place it on my cheeks, and when it starts to dry, I add a little more on top. The packaging seems thoughtfully designed with the user in mind. Previously, when using pads, the tweezers were separate, which felt a bit unsanitary. This one has a separate inner lid and a deep design that allows for storing the tweezers neatly. The day I first received the product, I excitedly took one out and wiped my entire face as usual without thinking. Since it's a cream moisturizing pad, it has a rich feel. After wiping my forehead, I was surprised to find my bangs looking greasy the next day, as if they were stuck together. Since then, I've avoided using it on oily areas like my nose and forehead, focusing instead on moisturizing my cheeks. After touching the pad, massaging it in, and patting my skin, my palms feel oily, so I end up washing my hands. These are cream moisturizing pads with plenty of essence, so I've been using them on my dry arms and legs too. When my face feels hot, I spread a few pads out in a plastic bag and put them in the fridge or freezer for a short while. After a few minutes, I take them out and place them on my cheeks - it feels great! (Even though they're cream moisturizing pads and have a rich feel, it's actually quite nice) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2020
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm excited to share my review! Despite having sensitive skin that usually reacts to the slightest ingredient mismatch with blemishes or small bumps, I experienced no irritation at all with this product. Thumbs up! The container is generously sized and comes with a separate applicator, ensuring hygienic use. My mom, who's extremely sensitive to fragrances, appreciated the unscented formula. I can comfortably wear it for extended periods without the discomfort of overwhelming scents that often make me want to remove masks prematurely. Storing it in the refrigerator adds a refreshing coolness. My skin feels so plump and bouncy now! Oh dear, I have dry and extremely sensitive skin that reacts to certain ingredients. Because of this, I usually let the essence from pads or sheet masks absorb partially before rinsing off with water as a final step. However, this product was unexpectedly rich - far beyond what I had anticipated. Despite gently patting to encourage absorption and waiting quite a while, it just wouldn't sink in properly. Even after rinsing with water, the rich feeling remained, necessitating an additional cleanse with soap. Unfortunately, the excessive richness outweighs the benefits for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2020
1. It's gentle - After using it, I didn't experience any additional blemishes or skin issues at all. 2. It's hydrating - After cleansing and toning, I just apply a few of these to my face, wait about 5 minutes, then gently massage them all over. That's enough on its own without needing to apply anything else. I think this alone is sufficient to act as a hydrating pad. It's a bit inconvenient - Due to the nature of this product, having to individually pick up and apply each piece with tweezers can be somewhat cumbersome. It works even better if you gently massage it all over your face after use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 3, 2020
Skin type: While my skin's immunity is on the weaker side, I rarely experience blemishes and can use most cosmetics without issues. I have combination skin that tends to be slightly oily in summer and slightly dry in winter. Lately, I've been loving using pads, so I was excited to try this product. • The product packaging is neat, with individual wrapping and an internal divider with tweezers, which I appreciated. • When I first smelled it, it seemed almost fragrance-free. • True to its hydrating nature, it contains an impressive amount of ampoule. • The pads have a gentle and mild feel on the skin. While there are some positives, there are also quite a few aspects that could be seen as drawbacks, making this product somewhat disappointing. • Although it seemed fragrance-free initially, a noticeable scent emerges during use. I found it slightly off-putting, possibly due to my sensitivity to smells. - My boyfriend likened it to a certain ointment he's smelled before. - To me, it's closest to a smoky scent... not particularly pleasant for facial use. • While the pads are soaked in essence, it's almost excessive - they drip when you take them out. • For a hydrating product, the oil content seems disproportionately high compared to the moisture content. - Not recommended for those with even slightly oily skin. - Only suitable for extremely dry skin or during periods of intense dryness. While I can't definitively blame this product, I rarely get blemishes except during my cycle, but I developed two on my forehead in quick succession. It seems like my oil and moisture balance might have been disrupted. Remember, skincare effectiveness varies from person to person, so it's crucial to understand your skin condition before choosing a product! Since the pads are heavily saturated with essence, it's essential to squeeze out the excess against the container wall before use. After showering, you could try applying a thin layer on larger areas like your thighs or buttocks instead of body emulsion!
