The pads are incredibly soft, with a knit-like texture that stretches horizontally, allowing them to adhere perfectly to every contour of your face without leaving any gaps. This is especially great for tricky areas like the chin or nose, where other pads often lift off. These, however, thin out slightly as you stretch them, creating a snug fit that really hugs your skin. As a bonus, the case has a clever little compartment at the top for storing the tweezers, which is super convenient. The cream essence infused in the pads felt a bit too rich for my liking. While it didn't leave as much residue as I expected, the essence itself felt somewhat heavy and slightly irritating on my skin. I bought these based on a recommendation from a YouTuber with dry skin, and although my skin has been getting drier lately, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found the texture too heavy for comfort. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2021
The cream provides a deeply moisturizing effect, perfect for a robust hydration routine May feel heavy on oily skin types. Too rich to use on skin with active blemishes - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 14, 2020
※This is a review from The Hwahae Testers※ First off, I have extremely oily skin and severe acne! I was really surprised to see this product came in a cream form. The hydration is fantastic, and the cooling effect is great too. It's perfect for those who want both soothing and moisturizing effects! I'd highly recommend this product for winter or seasonal changes rather than summer use. The ingredients are so clean, I really enjoyed using it! Personally, as someone with oily skin, I found it a bit heavy when used in summer. I found it works well when stored in the fridge and applied on days when you need extra soothing and hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinApr 10, 2020
I love Dermatory Cica Pads, but I wanted to try something new this time! As someone with dry skin, I absolutely adore how moisturizing these pads are. Derma pads are known for their generous essence, so I use them liberally, almost like an overnight mask. The next morning, my skin feels deeply hydrated to its core! As widely known, the gentle ingredients didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. The pads are quite large, so using two is enough to cover the whole face. If you're just using them for wiping, one pad should suffice! These pads are really hydrating and have a slightly rich texture, so they might feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin. I wouldn't really recommend them for oily skin types. However, I highly recommend them for normal to dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 17, 2019
I've been using Dermatory Cica Pads with great satisfaction, so when I heard about their Cream Moisturizing Pads, I knew I had to try them. I finally got the chance, and here's what I think. First off, just like the Cica Pads, the box comes with a hygienic cover and tweezers for easy application, as well as an inner lid. Upon opening, you're greeted with pads soaked in a rich, creamy essence. The texture reminds me of slightly watered-down yogurt! The scent is almost non-existent, with just a hint of that medicinal ointment smell. It's not overpowering at all, so it shouldn't bother most people. When you pick up a pad with the tweezers, it feels soft and floppy due to being saturated with the creamy essence. Because they're so essence-rich and delicate, it's best to quickly place one on your cheek and spread it around. These pads are incredibly moisturizing. One pad holds enough essence to cover both cheeks, forehead, and still not dry out even after 20 minutes. That's some serious hydration power! The pad material is soft and stretchy, making it easy to fit on different areas of your face. I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation while using these pads, which is always a plus. While these pads provide ample moisture with long-lasting effects, they're slow to absorb. The hydration feels more oily than watery. If you have oily skin, you might find these extremely greasy. I wouldn't recommend them for oily skin types. Even with my dry skin, I found the oiliness a bit much, and it felt like it was sitting on top of my skin rather than absorbing fully. The user experience wasn't ideal for me. These might feel heavy and stuffy during summer use. The texture of the pads themselves was really nice, but... For those times when your skin feels dry and sensitive, try this routine after cleansing: Apply a Dermatory Cica Pad while you dry your hair. Once your hair is dry, use one of these moisturizing pads all over your face, letting it absorb. Then, finish with a light moisturizer to balance out the oil and lock in the hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2019
My face was so dry and flaky during winter, I thought I needed an exfoliator! But this product made those dead skin cells disappear like magic. I truly recommend it to anyone suffering from extremely dry, irritated skin or excessive flakiness. It's absolutely top-notch! If there's one downside, it's the medicinal scent. Also, as someone with slightly oily skin, I felt a bit suffocated by the rich texture. However, waking up the next day to see my improved complexion definitely lifted my spirits. I wouldn't recommend using this before applying makeup. Instead, try a 10-minute mask before bed - you'll notice a significant improvement in your skin! Of course, you might not see results right away or think it doesn't suit you, but give it some time. As you continue using it, you'll start to see the difference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2019
The pads come in a generous quantity. The ampoule solution covers about half of each pad, which is plenty. There are zero ingredients of concern. After using this product, I experienced my least favorite feeling. As the moisture from the ampoule evaporated, instead of absorbing, it left a film-like residue that clung to my skin, making it feel suffocating. Applying anything on top of it slowed down absorption. Most critically, despite having skin that rarely breaks out, I developed blemishes on my nose and both cheeks. Realizing this product doesn't suit me, I no longer want to continue using it. If it doesn't work for your face, try using it on your body. However, the suffocating feeling persisted even then...
