Product: TONYMOLY Back Gel Eyeliner Brown Pros: The brush isn't thin like typical eyeliner brushes, but rather thick and stubby like a lip brush. I thought this might make it hard to apply, but surprisingly it creates a beautiful thick line with a perfect tail. No need to touch up with a cotton swab, which is great. The color payoff is incredibly smooth, more than I expected. The staying power is decent for everyday use, but since it's not waterproof, it can smudge a bit when in contact with water. The longevity is slightly weak, and if you don't set it with powder, it may smudge after a while. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2024
I bought this because I was a bit unsatisfied with pencil and brush pen liners. When you draw a thin line with the brush, it definitely lasts longer and the line itself looks beautiful. The built-in brush hardens quickly, making it difficult to maintain. Also, it's challenging to use up the gel before it sets. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2023
About 10 years ago, everyone was using this white gel eyeliner! I bought it for nostalgia's sake, remembering its great staying power and affordable price. After using brush pen liners for a while, I realized they weren't intense enough. Coming back to this pot-type liner, the king of definition, feels like coming home. No questions asked, this product is revolutionary. Everyone should try it! There's not really any downside, but if you use the brush that comes with it and don't clean it often, it can harden and become stiff. It's best to clean it right after use and store it properly. Don't bother buying a separate eyeliner brush. The one that comes with it is high quality, so just use that. It's perfect for creating sharp, precise lines. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2023
The biggest advantage is its staying power!! I went to a rock festival and even after getting splashed with water, it held up so well that my friends were asking what brand I was using. Plus, it lasts forever. The amount is quite generous - I think I've been using it for almost 3 years. And I didn't even throw it away because I used it all up, but because it dried out... When you consider the quantity, the price feels incredibly reasonable. If you use the built-in brush, it applies thick and blunt lines. I recommend getting a separate brush!! The angled pink brush sold at Daiso works great. I have monolids that are almost hidden double eyelids! I don't prefer brush pen liners as they look too unnatural on my eyes. On the other hand, pencil liners tend to get blunt with use, which I don't like. For gel liners, I suggest buying a fine brush (like the angled brush from the pink brush set at Daiso), applying with controlled amount, then slightly blending the edges with a dark brown eyeshadow. This gives a defined yet not overly unnatural look!! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2023
The biggest advantage is the built-in brush, making it an all-in-one product! The staying power is also great. It's best not to touch it until it sets, as it can smudge before that! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 18, 2023
I've been using this since my school days, and I'm so glad it hasn't been discontinued! I've tried liquid and solid pencil liners, but nothing beats this gel eyeliner. It's easy to apply, glides on smoothly, and has great staying power. It's the best in many ways! The amount is so generous that I don't think I've ever used it all up. It can dry out if you leave the cap open or don't store it properly. Make sure to take good care of it! If it dries out, you can wipe the surface once with a tissue, and it'll be back to its gel-like consistency! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 26, 2023
You know how salon makeup is all the rage these days, right? I actually wanted to buy a Pro:8 Cheongdam product they recommended, but I ended up getting this to meet the coupon amount. Surprisingly, I'm absolutely loving it and using it regularly! I had tried the black one before, but back then I wasn't great at applying makeup, and the black just didn't suit me. But this brown one? It's a game-changer! The color is gorgeous, it absorbs well, and the staying power is impressive. Highly recommend! There's not really anything to complain about. The amount is generous... Beginners might need some time to get used to the gel eyeliner format, but honestly, I can't find any downsides! I've heard the brush that comes with it is great too! Personally, I use a Picasso brush. Here's a pro tip: before applying the eyeliner, slightly dampen the brush with cream, wipe it off with a tissue or wet wipe, then apply the eyeliner. This technique helps you achieve a more precise application! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 5, 2023
I love how natural the color looks. The staying power is amazing, and it lasts so long that there's no need for touch-ups. If you let it dry properly, it doesn't smudge, so as long as you can apply it well, it's a great product to use. The brush maintenance is challenging. If you leave it, it hardens quickly, so you need to clean it after each use. If you shape it even slightly wrong, it immediately applies strangely, so you really need to take good care of it. Also, I don't think it's suitable for beginners as it might be difficult to achieve the desired shape - it takes some skill to apply it correctly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2023
The brush that comes with it makes application convenient. You can draw thin lines with the brush. It has a natural brown color. The application is smooth, and it has good staying power. It's actually better than I expected. As long as it doesn't dry out too quickly, I think I'll use it well. The brush is nice, and the color is a perfect, natural brown that's easy to use. It applies smoothly too! It's a good idea to clean the brush with a wet wipe or damp cotton pad after use before storing it. I found it easier to use than pencil types because you can draw thin lines with it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2023
The staying power is unbeatable. It seems like it won't budge no matter what. I was shocked, as I expected it to smudge easily due to its gel formula. With proper amount control, you can achieve anything from a subtle line to a bold, defined one. The brush tends to harden quickly, so it's a bit of a hassle to clean and store it properly after each use.
