I bought this product because I've used it before. It's easy to apply eyeliner with, so I'm using it well. I recommend it for makeup beginners. The color looks natural, and since it comes in a large quantity, one purchase lasts for a really long time. There's a brush attached, but I'm using a different brush. The staying power is a bit lacking, I must say. I tried buying a brush pen type as well, but I ended up coming back to this product. It's just unbeatable when it comes to ease of application. Lightly setting it with eyeshadow seems to improve its longevity. I believe they used to sell refills for this in the past, but sadly not anymore. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 16, 2024
This is my go-to product! Great value for money and lasts a long time. The color payoff is excellent, and it glides on smoothly for a precise line. It's less likely to smudge compared to pencil eyeliners. There's nothing to complain about. I'll keep using this as long as it doesn't get discontinued. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2023
The biggest advantage is its staying power!! I went to a rock festival and even after getting splashed with water, it held up so well that my friends were asking what brand I was using. Plus, it lasts forever. The amount is quite generous - I think I've been using it for almost 3 years. And I didn't even throw it away because I used it all up, but because it dried out... When you consider the quantity, the price feels incredibly reasonable. If you use the built-in brush, it applies thick and blunt lines. I recommend getting a separate brush!! The angled pink brush sold at Daiso works great. I have monolids that are almost hidden double eyelids! I don't prefer brush pen liners as they look too unnatural on my eyes. On the other hand, pencil liners tend to get blunt with use, which I don't like. For gel liners, I suggest buying a fine brush (like the angled brush from the pink brush set at Daiso), applying with controlled amount, then slightly blending the edges with a dark brown eyeshadow. This gives a defined yet not overly unnatural look!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 20, 2022
I love how easy it is to control the amount. With proper brush care, it can last a long time. It's disappointing that there's no brush length adjustment anymore... It feels a bit short. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2022
The generous amount means it lasts a long time, and it's an absolute godsend for those who struggle with eyeliner application. The brush can get messy, and the need for regular, thorough cleaning might be a bit of a hassle. It's incredibly useful for tightlining! The brown color blends naturally, making it versatile and easy to use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 30, 2022
I've used this for such a long time. It seems to be the pioneer of gel eyebrows. The color looks natural, it's long-lasting, and the product itself is great. It's inconvenient to use, so I end up reaching for a pencil instead. Cleaning the brush every time is a hassle, and at some point, I just stopped using it altogether. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2022
- Great value for money - Long-lasting - Doesn't smudge - Excellent color payoff - Challenging for beginners to use - Packaging isn't travel-friendly - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 26, 2022
Longevity: As a product I consistently repurchase, its staying power is truly impressive. When I apply the eyeliner before going out, it remains intact until I remove my makeup after returning home! Waterproof: I've always relied on this product for trips to the swimming pool, sauna, or hot springs. It's great to use without worrying about smudging! Quantity: One purchase seems to last forever! I've had instances where I've had to discard it due to the container breaking, but I don't think I've ever actually used up an entire eyeliner. (Though sometimes I've had to throw it away because it dried out before I could finish it) Packaging: I can't help but think this product is inconvenient to apply, use, and carry around. Although I continue to use it because I haven't found a product with a better feel, the packaging is really inconvenient. No matter how carefully you use the brush part of the eyeliner, the part that holds it in place breaks after a little use, rendering it unusable. I end up using the eyeliners with broken brushes at home and carrying the intact ones for touch-ups when I'm out. It seems to have become harder to find in offline stores. However, it's still available on the Tony Moly website. I recommend purchasing when there are free shipping events or special sales to get discounts on both shipping and price! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2022
As someone with oily skin around the eyes, I prioritize long-lasting products. I have monolids that appear like hidden double eyelids, so I prefer thin, natural-looking colors. I used this a lot during my school days. Since I have monolids that look like hidden double eyelids, color selection is crucial as too dark shades can make my eyes look heavy. I love that it's a gel, allowing me to control the intensity. You can create looks ranging from bold and defined to soft and natural. The product lasts forever due to its generous amount - I use it until it dries up completely. The built-in brush is convenient, and it's great value for money! The staying power is a bit weak. You definitely need to set it with powder. The gel left on the brush hardens, so frequent cleaning is necessary. To prevent waste when it starts drying out, I scoop some onto my nail and immediately close the lid upside down. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 23, 2022
Once you buy this, it truly lasts a long time. The brown color is vivid, and it applies smoothly while staying put well! It's a famous product that many people use without needing to be told about it. While the product itself is good, the part where the brush is inserted can become loose, causing it to fall out frequently. If the brush were a bit thinner, the product's performance might improve. The thick brush can sometimes split when inserting it, which is a bit inconvenient. The color is a soft brown, but if more diverse shades were available, it might become even more popular. If you apply it thinly using a thin brush with just a touch of fixer, it really lasts a long time. This is the real deal.
