This is my holy grail lipstick. I haven't found a brick lip color with lower saturation than this product. I absolutely love that it's exactly the dark brick shade you see, and it's incredibly matte, which I adore. While it's truly matte, it doesn't absorb well and feels quite dry. Sometimes it applies unevenly and can clump together. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 7, 2020
This is the first time I've found a lip color that perfectly matches my complexion, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. The brick shade is absolutely gorgeous. I'm pleasantly surprised by how long-lasting it is! Due to its matte finish, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells, and it might be challenging to apply multiple layers. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2020
First off, in the photo, the color on the left is Smoked Rose, while the right is MAC Devoted to Chili. 1. It's the king of color payoff - just a swipe or two and the pigment pops beautifully. 2. The shade is a stunner - it's like a brick red, yet also a true red, living up to its name of a smoked rose. Either way, the color is absolutely gorgeous. 3. The application is top-notch - it glides on smoothly and sets to a matte finish, which I love. 4. The staying power isn't bad either! Like most matte lipsticks, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells on the lips as time passes. For the prettiest look, exfoliate your lips before applying! - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 15, 2019
I love the brick color - it's exactly the shade I've been looking for. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't prep my lips properly, but even after applying lip balm and lipstick, the color sometimes settles into the cracks of my lips, emphasizing fine lines. It's really frustrating - is there any way to prevent this? It's best to apply lip balm before putting on lipstick. That's why I always carry a lip balm with me. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 20, 2019
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I bought it because I wanted a brick shade, and unlike most 'brick lip' products that have a pink undertone making it hard to distinguish between brick and rose, this one has almost no pink base! When applied lightly, it gives an orange or light red tint. It's a true brick color, which I love! It's a matte lipstick that doesn't dry out your lips and has excellent adherence! While 3CE lipsticks are known for their crayon-like, stiff texture that can feel quite drying, this one doesn't feel overly dry once applied. It's so comfortable that you forget you're wearing lipstick. That's how well it adheres, feeling just like your natural lips. The packaging is beautiful too! Despite being plastic, it has a nice weight to it, which I prefer over similar cases from brands like Bbia or Rom&nd. If your lips are in really bad condition, it will emphasize dead skin cells like crazy. Nothing else particularly negative to mention. I think it would work even better if you apply lip balm beforehand! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2019
The color is a dried rose, brick shade that I absolutely adore. I wore this exclusively for a month after buying it. It's beautiful on its own, but it looks even more stunning when layered with other lip products. Due to its matte formula, it can accentuate dead skin cells. However, if you exfoliate before application, it's not a major concern. Exfoliation is a must before using this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 6, 2019
I was captivated by the brick rose color and I'm absolutely in love with the shade. It's a darker hue in the rose family, perfect for applying to the inner lips. Wearing this, it was the first time convenience store and café staff asked me about my lip color! The shade is undeniably beautiful, especially ideal for fall and winter wear! There's a bit of that characteristic lipstick dryness and it tends to accentuate dead skin cells. The issue is that with lipsticks, if you apply lip balm first, you don't get the desired color and matte finish. So you need to do a thorough lip care routine every night before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 23, 2018
The color is truly one-of-a-kind. As a fan of brick-toned brown-reds, I'm impressed by its unique shade. Despite being a matte lip product, it applies smoothly and effortlessly. I'm questioning whether it's worth the price tag. The way it emphasizes dead skin cells on the lips is astounding, and not in a good way. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2018
After only using neon shades, I tried a brick-like color for the first time and loved how well it matched my skin tone. Perhaps because my lips were very dry, it didn't apply smoothly and unfortunately had some pilling, which was disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 23, 2018
As someone who loves brick and dried rose colors, I really enjoyed this shade. It's matte, which can slightly emphasize dead skin cells, but it's not too bad if you apply lip balm occasionally. It can be a bit tricky to apply, and the staying power is somewhat disappointing. When drinking through a straw at cafes, it tends to transfer onto the straw.
