This is my holy grail lipstick. I haven't found a brick lip color with lower saturation than this product. I absolutely love that it's exactly the dark brick shade you see, and it's incredibly matte, which I adore. While it's truly matte, it doesn't absorb well and feels quite dry. Sometimes it applies unevenly and can clump together. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 28, 2021
It's incredibly deep in color! Even for those with deep undertones, it's still quite intense. This would work great as an accent lip color! It might be a bit too deep to wear on its own. The matte finish makes it apply somewhat stiffly. A base lip product is essential, and exfoliating dead skin cells is a must - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2021
The color is pretty. But it's too intense. Not as beautiful as I expected... The problem is it doesn't suit me well. It's way too thick. Really emphasizes dead skin cells. Makes me look older... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 21, 2020
I bought this to create a bold lip look. The color is similar to a deep red, like gochujang, perfect for making a statement. It might be too intense for wearing alone, which could be overwhelming for some. Of course, you can achieve a pretty look with a light application, but it can be quite striking if applied heavily. I prefer to use it as an accent on the inner lips after applying a base product. The case is matte black (I think the design has changed) with 'Clio' written on it. It's absolutely stunning - the packaging is to die for! Clio really excels in both design and color selection, which makes their higher price point feel justified. It seems to break easily. Also, it doesn't glide on the lips smoothly. Maybe because it's too matte, it feels a bit dry and stiff? That's the impression I get! For those with prominent lip flakiness, I'd recommend choosing something more moisturizing rather than matte. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
Color: It's a deep brick red. When applied heavily, it turns into a muted red-brown, but when lightly smudged, it creates a beautifully enigmatic look. It has a rose-chili-brown vibe. The color is absolutely gorgeous! Staying power: I was surprised by how long-lasting this lipstick is. After wearing it for about 4 hours, it was still almost intact. Of course, it will come off if you eat a proper meal. Application: The texture is a bit stiff, which is disappointing. When your lips are in good condition, it glides on smoothly, but if there are any dead skin cells, it becomes patchy and difficult to apply. Accentuates flakiness: Perhaps due to its stiff texture, it tends to highlight dead skin cells. You need to exfoliate your lips every time before use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2020
This color is absolutely stunning for those with deep autumn complexions! The shade is even more sophisticated than the Clio Cinnamon Deep color I reviewed in my previous post. It's also a gochujang brick brown, with a ratio of about 3 parts red : 5 parts brown : 1 part sophistication : 1 part intrigue. The color is so refined, I've never seen anything quite this beautiful before. The case is sleek and modern, which adds to its appeal. A signature 3CE touch is that the case color matches the lipstick shade perfectly. The adherence is surprisingly good! I thought it might be patchy due to its firmness, but it seems this is just another clever trick from 3CE. Despite the initial stiffness, it adheres well to the lips without any patchiness. The color payoff is true to the shade and absolutely gorgeous! Since it's quite pigmented, I recommend applying it with light, tapping motions for the most flattering result. The application has that signature 3CE lipstick stiffness... It does feel a bit more rigid compared to other lipsticks, which can be a slight drawback. Be sure to exfoliate, as it may accentuate dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 25, 2019
First off, the color is exactly as you see it. It's absolutely gorgeous and perfect for warm skin tones! It's extremely drying, which makes it feel a bit stiff when applying. You'll need to exfoliate your lips well before using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 7, 2019
This lip product is perfect for creating a more intense makeup look. The color is both subtle and striking, which is really beautiful. It's disappointing that it contains parabens. I bought it knowing it was matte, but the dry, stiff application is a bit of a letdown. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 23, 2018
I think this is the prettiest among my MLBB (though it's a bit deeper) dried rose items. No exaggeration, I've tried dozens of famous and not-so-famous dried rose lip products, and I truly believe this is the most beautiful. It's definitely in my top three! I find myself reaching for it more and more since I bought it. As it's a matte lip product, the staying power is really impressive and it doesn't transfer at all!!! At 17,900 won, it's quite pricey! Because it's matte, it can be a bit clumpy and stiff when applying. I'd recommend putting on a thin layer of lip balm first. Also, the square case looks rather clunky. Is this the trend these days with Wakemake, BBIA, and 3CE as well? I'm usually quite picky about packaging, but I really wanted to try a 3CE product, so I bought it anyway. If it were black, it might have looked a bit more simple, but a red, angular lipstick case is just... It's really the worst design next to transparent cases. It's just so unattractive. Anyway, I prefer clean designs, so this is disappointing. But I guess it's just personal preference... Apply a thin layer of a less oily lip balm, like Chapstick Mint, beforehand! - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 22, 2018
The color is beautiful. When applied over lip tint, it doesn't smudge easily unless you rub it vigorously. Sometimes it can make your skin look yellowish. This might be due to foundation breakdown or the color of this product. It feels a bit stiff and dry when applying.
