The color payoff is truly beautiful and matches the shade in the tube. It's great for long-lasting wear! The application is smooth too! I usually have a lot of dead skin cells, so I only use tint-type products, but this one works really well for me! The price point is a bit high, making it difficult to justify buying multiple shades. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2022
This lip product is perfect just for its color payoff, which makes up for any other shortcomings. So far, it's my favorite among MLBB point lip colors. I use it often, yet it doesn't wear down quickly (though this might be because I don't apply a full lip). The packaging is also super pretty, and I'm on my third tube including the renewed version - that says it all! The biggest drawback is that it creates dead skin cells on lips that didn't even have any before. If you apply it without lip balm, you can tell how much dead skin there is right from the start. Even though I prefer matte finishes, this product is so drying that I often apply lip balm. If you don't touch it up, you'll see an extreme amount of flaking later on. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2020
The color payoff is true to what you see, and it applies smoothly for a matte lip! It has a beautiful autumnal vibe After some time, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells, and it disappears when you eat.. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2020
The color payoff is absolutely incredible! I usually have a dull lip color, but this lipstick completely covers it and shows up true to the shade. The staying power is impressive too. Even when I drink with a straw and eat normally, it only fades slightly on the inner part of my lips. That's pretty good in my book! The adherence is also fantastic - it feels like it's melting into my lips, almost like it's just another layer of my natural lip. It does emphasize dry patches a bit... That's the only downside, everything else is great! Here's a tip: Apply a generous amount of lip balm the night before, let it soften any dead skin cells, then wipe it off in the morning before applying the lipstick. This almost completely eliminates any emphasis on dry patches! Also, this shade is perfect for warm undertones, so if you're a warm-toned beauty, you absolutely must get this! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMar 28, 2020
The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous and it's a perfect match for my complexion - I'm already on my second one! When applied with light tapping motions, it gives a beautiful, natural-looking tint that complements even a bare face. When applied to dry lips, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells and fine lines quite noticeably. I'd recommend using it after proper lip care for the best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2020
First off, in the photo, the color on the left is Smoked Rose, while the right is MAC Devoted to Chili. 1. It's the king of color payoff - just a swipe or two and the pigment pops beautifully. 2. The shade is a stunner - it's like a brick red, yet also a true red, living up to its name of a smoked rose. Either way, the color is absolutely gorgeous. 3. The application is top-notch - it glides on smoothly and sets to a matte finish, which I love. 4. The staying power isn't bad either! Like most matte lipsticks, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells on the lips as time passes. For the prettiest look, exfoliate your lips before applying! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 10, 2020
The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! The toned-down shades are perfect for any occasion. As expected with matte lipsticks, it does emphasize dead skin cells a bit. But it's still beautiful! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 25, 2020
The color payoff is true to the product, and there's absolutely no pink staining, which I really dislike. Every application gives me that beautiful, original shade! There's nothing really disappointing about it. Just make sure to exfoliate a bit to remove dead skin cells before applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2020
First and foremost, the color was absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend this for those with autumn warm undertones. I was surprised by how dark it looked initially, but when I applied it, there was even a slight pink tinge to it on my lips! It's the perfect shade for autumn warm-toned individuals. The application was quite smooth - it glides on effortlessly, and you can easily create a gradient effect just by blending with your fingers, no special tools needed. The pigmentation is fantastic too! Being a lipstick, it doesn't apply too thickly unless you layer it on heavily. I really loved that it applies well even without a lip brush or applicator tip. Due to its smooth application, it does tend to transfer a bit. It doesn't stain the lips very well either. However, it doesn't completely rub off or make your natural lip color disappear. It did somewhat accentuate the dead skin cells on the inner part of my lips. For those with a lot of dead skin cells, to prevent them from being highlighted, make sure to apply a generous amount of lip balm during your base makeup routine. Then, wipe it off before applying this lipstick - it'll help minimize the appearance of flaky skin. I think it would look even better if you create a gradient effect by pairing it with a toned-down orange-coral lip color! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 29, 2020
This is hands down the best lipstick I've ever used in terms of color payoff. It's my holy grail lip product! And since I'm a fan of matte finishes, it ticks all the boxes for me. I've been loyal to this lipstick for over a year now - I've already gone through more than three tubes! If you don't take good care of your lips after using it, you might notice some dead skin cells building up. For the most beautiful color application, make sure to apply a lip essence after cleansing. The better you care for your lips, like using a lip essence and exfoliating dead skin cells, the more beautiful the color payoff will be! For a perfectly matte, velvety finish, try applying a thin layer of cushion foundation or liquid foundation on your lips before the lipstick. When applying, avoid rubbing your lips together, as this can cause the product to move around and look messy. Instead, start by applying it to the inner part of your lips and gently press your lips together for a natural finish. For that extra-perfect pout, lightly blot with a tissue - you'll end up with absolutely stunning lips!
