As someone with super sensitive skin that usually turns red and reacts badly to most products, I'm impressed that this didn't cause any adverse reactions. It seems to be quite gentle. It dries on the skin without doing much. The hydration power is incredibly weak. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 11, 2022
This product is so good, I want to keep it all to myself! It's perfect for those who occasionally get acne flare-ups. When applied, it instantly soothes the skin, reducing redness and restoring your natural complexion. On days when you're too lazy to apply cream, just use this before bed and you'll wake up with skin that feels as moisturized as if you'd used a regular cream. It absorbs well and has a texture similar to aloe gel. It helps hydrate your skin without leaving any greasy residue, leaving it fresh and dewy. It's a bit pricey, but I'm satisfied with the large quantity. Honestly, the price is the only downside! Spread it evenly over your entire face, and apply a thicker layer on areas with blemishes or irritation. When you wake up in the morning, your skin will be much calmer and any acne-like issues will have quickly disappeared! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 5, 2021
I've been using this for several bottles now~ I started using it when my acne was severe, and the difference is remarkable!! It doesn't cause any additional blemishes~ It moisturizes well and doesn't irritate my skin at all~ Sometimes I get curious and try other moisturizers, but if my skin reacts badly, I always come back to this one for recovery. Haha! There's nothing I dislike about it! While it doesn't absorb super quickly, I have absolutely zero complaints given how moisturizing and gentle it is~ Well, nothing specific, but since the bottle is quite large, I transfer some into a smaller container to carry around~ I use it to hydrate when touching up my makeup~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2020
I got this after consulting with Sidmool and receiving a recommendation from their representative. But honestly, I'm not sure what's so great about it... It's not like I'm blown away thinking 'Wow, this is amazing!' It didn't irritate my skin or cause any breakouts, but it just feels like a regular aloe gel to me. I won't be repurchasing. I'd rather just buy a cheaper aloe gel... I couldn't really tell the difference between this and a regular aloe gel. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 5, 2020
I desperately needed an extremely gentle product due to contact dermatitis caused by frequent exfoliation and mask-wearing. Looking at the ingredients, I bought this product because it seemed specialized for soothing and unlikely to cause side effects. While I'm not sure how effective it is for calming the skin, it didn't cause any adverse reactions. As you know, when your skin is irritated, avoiding side effects is already a win. In that sense, I recommend it. It has a soothing gel-like texture, which gives a slight cooling effect and glides on smoothly, making it feel like it's healing the skin, which I really liked. Everything's good, but it feels a bit sticky when it dries. It looks like a soothing gel, but it doesn't absorb completely, so my hair tends to stick to it a bit. This product alone isn't enough for hydration, so use hydrating products in the steps before and after. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2020
I've consulted with Sidmool and tried most of their recommended products. However, this time it was another fail. It seems centella asiatica just doesn't agree with me. Fortunately, my mom needed a gel for massages, so I gave it to her. She's blessed with skin that rarely reacts badly to anything. Madagascar Moisture Cream, Goospotcream, and others... I guess centella asiatica-based products just don't work for me. It's strange. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2019
It's so good it's unreal. I'm absolutely obsessed! The soothing effect is off the charts, seriously... Why is it so amazing? I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin with severe deep dryness. I get tons of tiny bumps and my skin flares up easily like a sunfish. My skin was a disaster recently. After using this for 5 days, my skin became manageable for daily life. I recklessly extracted bumps all over my face and applied this - normally, redness would last 3 days, pores would be huge, and my skin would keep hurting, but the next day 85% of the redness was gone. No pain at all. I've been using it for over a week, and I can clearly see my skin improving. I'll use this for life. Now I'm interested in other Sidmool products. It doesn't pill like some products do. I've tried all kinds of ampoules, toners, and creams claiming to fix deep dryness, but this one is the real deal. I thought gels would pill and evaporate, unable to tackle deep dryness, so I avoided them. But when a friend used it, I tried it once and ordered two bottles the next day. I really wish everyone would buy it. No, wait, don't buy it. It'd be trouble if it sold out! There are reeeeeeeally no downsides. The skin in my photo from 9/25 is already quite soothed. It's the day after using the Centella Essential. If I had to pick one thing, maybe the price? But that's just because I'm broke... Using toner, Centella Essential, moisturizer, and regenerating cream, my skin became human-like in just 5 days! Usually, when my skin flares up, I suffer for a month. Keep it in the fridge. I apply about two layers! It's amazing for soothing after extractions. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 3, 2019
My skin tends to react easily, but when I got contact dermatitis, this healed it without needing to go to the doctor! Now I feel anxious without it. For someone with extremely dry skin like me, using this alone was a bit drying. It's better to finish with a cream. Apply a thick layer before bed! Spread it all over and then spot-treat blemish-prone areas for a soothing effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2019
Here's my honest review after purchasing this product with my own money. Recently, my face was in complete disarray due to folliculitis symptoms, and I was truly in a state of panic. After some research, I realized I needed to overhaul my entire skincare routine. I saw many reviews praising this Centella Essential as a cost-effective solution for calming folliculitis and blemishes, which led me to buy it after some deliberation. I can definitely say that when applied to areas where blemishes are about to appear or have already formed, it seems to soothe the skin quickly. I found the hydration to be quite lacking. Rather than deeply moisturizing, it felt like the product just sat on the surface before evaporating. I had to follow up with another cream product to prevent a dry feeling. This alone wouldn't be enough in the dead of winter. Instead of feeling fresh, it left my skin feeling more parched than before. Keeping it in the refrigerator and applying it cold definitely helps with skin soothing. I noticed a significant reduction in blemishes the morning after applying it. Despite the lack of hydration, I plan to continue using it consistently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 8, 2019
The fragrance is delightful. It absorbs beautifully into the skin. The color is a lovely honey-like hue, which is quite charming. When your skin is irritated, this product works wonders for soothing it. The product might be a bit lacking in richness, which could be disappointing for those with dry skin. Since it's an essence, you might need to layer it with an emulsion or hydrating cream for better results.
