Helps calm redness and blemishes to some extent. Satisfied with the mostly non-irritating ingredients that are good for soothing the skin. Lacks hydration, causing the skin to dry quickly and dead skin cells to appear. The inconvenience of having to apply frequently throughout the day. Storing it in the refrigerator and applying it cold seems to soothe the skin more quickly. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
I've been using this product consistently for ages. It has a gel-like texture similar to aloe vera gel, but with centella and madecassoside ingredients that work wonders for my skin, helping to soothe and calm it. Since it's a gel-type product, I find that my skin feels a bit dry after it absorbs. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2024
A few years ago, when my facial skin started to act up, causing itching, dead skin cells, and tiny blemishes, I discovered this product from Sidmool during my struggle. With consistent use, my skin seemed to calm down, and I found myself forgetting about all those skin concerns that used to keep me staring in the mirror. I've relied on it year-round, but it's especially helpful in summer. When my skin improved, I tried other skincare products carelessly, but this year when my skin flared up again, I suddenly remembered this one. After ordering and using it again, I regret ever forgetting about it. While I use various products depending on my skin condition, this is definitely one I shouldn't forget. It can pill if not fully absorbed. Applying too much before makeup can cause pilling. It might feel dry if used alone. Even for oily skin, using it alone can lead to dryness later, so I make sure it's fully absorbed and follow with a moisturizer. I apply a thin layer in the morning and a bit more in the evening. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2023
Texture: It's a transparent gel type, similar to aloe vera gel. The consistency is extremely light, so it tends to run when applied to the skin. This makes for a lightweight and refreshing gel cream experience. Cooling effect: As with most gel-type products, it's light and offers an excellent cooling effect, making it perfect for use when your skin feels hot. I usually keep this product in the refrigerator and apply it thickly like a mask when my skin needs cooling, then rinse it off. Hydration: This product feels like it's 100% hydration and 0% oil, making it an incredibly lightweight gel. It's great for providing instant hydration when your skin is lacking moisture. Moisturizing: The moisturizing power is almost non-existent, so you'll need to apply a moisturizing cream immediately after use. While it's effective for instant hydration, the effect is very temporary. You must layer another cream on top, otherwise your skin might end up feeling even drier. Finish: Although the finish feels fresh, it absorbs rather slowly, so you'll need to pat it in for a while. Also, shortly after absorption, you might feel your skin becoming dry, so apply another hydrating or moisturizing cream right away. Personally, I recommend using this product (or aloe gel) more as a mask rather than as part of your regular skincare routine. When I use it in my skincare steps, I actually feel like my skin becomes drier... So I mainly use it as a cooling mask. It's especially great for instantly cooling down your skin during summer when your skin tends to heat up frequently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2023
As someone with super sensitive skin that usually turns red and reacts badly to most products, I'm impressed that this didn't cause any adverse reactions. It seems to be quite gentle. It dries on the skin without doing much. The hydration power is incredibly weak. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2022
It wasn't bad, and it had a somewhat calming effect. However, I didn't see any extraordinary results. It seems to be a fairly average product. While it's neither bad nor particularly good, the hydration it provides is rather underwhelming. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2022
As someone with acne-prone, extremely oily skin, I find this product incredibly soothing and it leaves my skin feeling refreshingly matte. It's become a staple in my skincare routine regardless of the season. However, those with very dry skin might find this product alone insufficient for hydration. I mix it with vitamin powder before application, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin texture the following day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2022
I used the Centella Essential as my regular essence, and during that time I didn't experience any blemishes. Even the occasional breakouts I usually get when I'm sleep-deprived were completely absent. The hydration function is a bit weak, so you'll need to use a separate moisturizer, especially for dry areas. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2021
I keep it in the fridge, and the cooling effect is fantastic. It quickly calms down any heat sensation after cleansing. It dries quickly, leaving my skin feeling dehydrated. However, I found that applying a hydrating moisturizer immediately after helps counteract this issue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2021
Absorbs well into the skin Gives a nice glow after some time No noticeable scent Provides a cooling sensation Feels slightly drying Can't really tell if it improves blemishes The container size is a bit too large...
