Cons-It's not unscented, there's a distinct medicinal scent Our kids weren't too fond of that smell -The formula might feel a bit heavy on the skin, and sometimes the hydration doesn't seem to last as long as you'd like
Tip1. Apply within 3 minutes after cleansing (The golden window for deep hydration!) -Applying within 3 minutes of washing or bathing prevents moisture loss and allows hydration to penetrate deeply -It absorbs better when applied to slightly damp skin 2. Double up on irritated areas -For red or itchy spots, apply once, let it absorb, then layer on more after 5 minutes for enhanced soothing effects 3. Can be used on lips, nostrils, and around nails -Great for micro-dry areas like around the lips, nostrils, or cuticles - I use it myself as a mom! 4. Works well as a diaper cream after changes Also effective on drool rash, rosy cheeks, or eczema-prone areas

I used it a lot during winter, and it was really helpful during the dry season. As I've gotten older, I've noticed that dryness feels different than before. My skin still feels like it might crack from dryness, but now it's as if the muscles underneath have tightened too. When I smile, I can feel the tendons pulling, making me think I might get deep wrinkles. But when I moisturize well and apply this, it feels like I'm wearing a windbreaker for my skin. It's like I'm less likely to 'tear'. It definitely feels like I've put on a protective layer. It also helps manage dead skin cells caused by dryness, and when I apply it before bed, my skin feels plump in the morning.
ConsI'm not a fan of that 'moisture barrier' feeling, which is common in Atopalm products. This one seems to have the strongest effect. If you don't moisturize well before using it, it feels like you've slept with makeup on. It feels a bit sticky. But when I see how good my skin looks the next day, I realize I need to tolerate the texture. There's also a scent that's either herbal or medicinal, but it dissipates quickly so it's okay. The product is also a bit thick when applying.
TipI use this as a protective layer. When I apply it to dry areas before bed, it feels like I'm doing a mask treatment. I don't like using Vaseline because it easily rubs off, but this product adheres well and slowly absorbs, which I like. It moisturizes well on the face, and when I apply it to my nasolabial folds or between my eyebrows, it feels a bit firmer in the morning, and the stiff feeling is reduced.

It's gentle and suitable for all skin types. It absorbs well and quickly.
ConsIt seems to leave a slightly greasy feeling. The scent is somewhat reminiscent of herbal medicine. If you dislike the smell of herbal remedies, you might find it off-putting.
TipIt's better to use a small amount more frequently rather than applying too much at once.

Since my little one had dry skin from birth, I was told to pay extra attention to moisturizing. Around 2 months, my baby developed slightly red, bumpy patches on the chest, belly, and thighs. We even got a prescription cream from the pediatrician, so I had to be extra careful. The Panthenol Cream seems perfect for dry skin types. 1. Application: ★★★★★ True to its high-moisture formula, it's a thick white cream. A thumbnail-sized amount was enough to cover my baby's face. 2. Absorption: ★★★★★ I gently patted the cream into the skin, and the moisturizing effect was immediately noticeable. 3. Recommended skin type and usage: Highly recommended for dry skin types, apply frequently as needed. When my baby started drooling at 4 months, the area around the mouth became slightly red and irritated. There were also some scratch marks from hand-sucking. I applied small amounts of cream to the face whenever needed, and the irritation would subside after a nap. I also applied the Panthenol Cream to the chest, belly, and thigh areas that showed bumps at 2 months. I applied it after baths and diaper changes whenever I felt the bumpy texture. The skin would smooth out again after about half a day.
ConsThe cream has a distinct ointment-like scent, which made me worry that my baby might not like it on their face.

This year has been particularly cold and dry, leaving my skin itchy even after applying oils and emulsions post-shower. When I heard Atopalm, one of my go-to brands, released a highly concentrated panthenol-rich moisturizer, I didn't hesitate to try it. The 80ml size is adorably compact and perfect for carrying around. It feels like they've packed all that concentrated panthenol goodness into this little tube. When I first squeezed some onto the back of my hand, it felt thick as expected. However, it doesn't have that stringy texture when you pinch it between your thumb and index finger - it drops in distinct dollops. Surprisingly, it spreads easily without feeling heavy, and there's no sticky residue I was worried about. After it absorbs, your skin feels soft and deeply nourished rather than tacky. When my skin gets dry and itchy, it often flakes as if I have a rash. Applying this cream helps, likely because the panthenol-rich formula provides a moisturizing coating that temporarily relieves the itching. While the scent might not be for everyone, I'm satisfied with how it applies, absorbs, and maintains hydration. It's marketed as an intensive care cream for sensitive areas, but for those of us with extremely dry skin, our whole body becomes a 'sensitive area' in winter! I just wish it came in a larger size.
ConsThe fragrance reminds me of my dad's aftershave from when I was young, which might be hit or miss for some people. It does gradually fade after the cream is fully absorbed. As I'm quite sensitive to scents, I prefer using this on my body rather than my face.
TipFor those with extremely dry skin like mine, the best tip is simply to apply this generously and frequently to itchy areas, spots you've scratched raw, or flaky patches. Just as a warm glass of milk can help you sleep better, slathering this on before bed allows for better absorption and helps your skin relax overnight.

Unlike other products where moisture evaporates quickly after application, this one keeps my skin hydrated for a long time, which is perfect for dry skin. I've been using it on my 6-year-old son too. He usually strongly resists emulsions, but after showering, I apply a small amount on his body, neck, and face. Since the scent isn't overpowering, he seems okay with it. When he complained about his back being itchy, I immediately applied this product, and he said the itching stopped! I'm very satisfied and using it well. The texture is between an emulsion and a cream - not too watery or heavy, making it easy to apply without feeling burdensome. It absorbs well into the skin, which I love.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that the volume is small. The scent is somewhat weak, like a mix of grass and medicinal smells...
TipFor my child, I just apply it as is. For myself, I add a drop or two of oil when applying it on my body, which makes it even more moisturizing and gives a nice glow. My parched, dry skin now looks radiant!

I was thrilled to discover they also have a panthenol cream! With winter here and my skin feeling less hydrated lately, I decided to give it a try right away! First off, true to its ultra-moisturizing claims, it's incredibly hydrating. It applies smoothly too! Being a rich moisturizer, it doesn't absorb instantly, so you need to massage it in a bit. As winter set in, my child's skin became increasingly dry, with some hive-like bumps appearing. The doctor said proper moisturizing would help, and this cream, likely due to its high panthenol content, has noticeably reduced those bumps! For extremely dry areas, this panthenol cream works wonders! I also love that it comes in a medium-sized tube, making it convenient to carry around. It's perfect for outings or travel. While it might feel heavy in summer, it's an absolute must-have for winter. If you have kids with dry skin, make sure to keep this on hand!
ConsThe scent has a slight herbal note, but it's not particularly pleasant. It smells a bit like ointment, which was a bit disappointing!

Now, I've been given a great opportunity to try their Panthenol Cream too! I first applied it to the back of my hand for the photo, but trusting Atopalm as always, I immediately dabbed some on my baby's cheeks. The Panthenol Cream has a rich, non-runny texture. Despite its thick consistency, it absorbs well into the skin, spreading smoothly with great application. It's moisturizing without feeling greasy, so I can apply it to my child's cheeks without worrying even if they rub their face with their hands. I'm really satisfied with how effective it is on red, chapped cheeks caused by winter drool. Applying it several times throughout the day shows noticeable results!
ConsWhile using Atopalm's soothing gel, I found the scent a bit off-putting, reminiscent of paint. Unfortunately, the Panthenol Cream has the same fragrance, which is quite disappointing.
TipMy baby's cheeks were frequently irritated and red. The prescription cream from the doctor alone wasn't enough to soothe them. However, when I started applying small amounts of the Panthenol Cream frequently during the day and using the prescription cream only at night, the irritation subsided after a few days!

After application, it leaves an oily film that seems like it would help with hydration.
ConsI couldn't find any reviews about the scent, so I bought it. If I had known, I wouldn't have purchased it. The smell isn't just a strong floral or herbal scent, but an incredibly potent odor reminiscent of body odor or paint. This is almost the first time a product's smell has given me such a headache. I'd prefer the scent of old-fashioned cosmetics that moms use, or even men's aftershave - that's how bad this smell is. It's truly the worst odor. It lingers on my hands and face. I wanted to wash it off, but I couldn't because I had already applied other skincare products and didn't want to waste them. The smell... the smell!! It's really unbearable. If you get headaches from paint or body odor smells, or if you're sensitive to scents, please don't buy this product. If you're curious about the smell, try it at your own risk... I can't be held responsible. And if anyone's wondering just how bad the smell is, I'll send you what I used today minus the cost, cash on delivery, so you can smell it yourself! I swear I'll never buy this cream again.

From the changing seasons until now, I've struggled with dryness and flaking around my cheeks and mouth due to mask-wearing, so I've been trying hard to find a new skincare routine. Luckily, I was selected to try Atopalm and after using it for 5 days, it's not bad at all! It absorbs gently and provides hydration. It's quite rich, so when I apply it on my face in the evening and also on my shins, it keeps my skin feeling good until the next day. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes, so it seems to suit my skin well!
ConsWhile its rich texture is a plus, it does have a slight medicinal scent. I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances so it's fine for me, but it definitely has that ointment-like smell.
TipFor those of you with dry, flaky legs, try applying this like a body emulsion. Even a small amount works wonders!
