The case design is absolutely my style! It's so hydrating and the adherence is outstanding. The pink base gives a radiant look. Usually, moisturizing cushions tend to have poor staying power, but this one's longevity is perfect! It's a bit large to carry in a mini bag, but I still make sure to bring it along because it's so beautiful. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2022
This cushion is a game-changer! It applies evenly in a thin, hydrating layer with excellent adherence to the skin. It beautifully evens out my complexion, covering redness and uneven skin tone while giving a radiant yet subtle glow. I'm amazed at how flawlessly it enhances my skin's appearance. Despite being lightweight, it offers surprisingly good coverage - absolutely fantastic! The puff is delightfully bouncy and firm, adding to the satisfaction. The staying power is decent, and it doesn't transfer much to masks. This cushion hydrates without feeling heavy, smoothing out skin texture and brightening the complexion. It's definitely earning the top spot in my heart! As someone with dry skin, I found the longevity could be better. By afternoon, it was noticeably fading. Other than that, it was pretty good. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2021
I have warm undertones and typically use shade 22. My skin tends to be prone to redness and blemishes. This product is perfect for those seeking a lightweight formula that looks natural, like your own skin. ▪️Texture • It has a glowy finish with a thin, slightly matte texture. • Despite the 'Aqua' in its name, it doesn't feel overly hydrating for a cushion. • It adheres well to the skin and applies thinly. The sheer coverage allows your skin to peek through slightly, living up to its 'Skin Fit' name. • I was impressed by how it clung to my skin as I patted it on with the puff. • It gives a healthy-looking glow that's just right, not excessive. • Due to its thin application, it doesn't transfer much. ▪️Color • It has a pink base, which appears quite rosy on warm skin tones. • For a shade 21, it's quite bright. As someone with shade 22 warm undertones, it looked a bit mask-like on me. • The coverage is minimal. It mainly evens out the complexion rather than covering spots. Although it's called a glow cushion, it's less dewy than expected and has a semi-matte finish. The coverage is just average. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
The product advertises itself as moisturizing, but I found it to have more of a semi-matte finish, which I actually preferred. It wasn't drying, didn't transfer much to my mask, and had decent staying power. A little goes a long way, making it perfect for quick morning makeup routines! I loved how it gave a bright, natural-looking finish with good adherence to the skin. I didn't experience any blemishes after application. While it doesn't completely hide large pores or noticeable blemishes, I prefer a natural base, so I was pleased with its adequate coverage. After using it for several months, I can say it has the best adherence and longevity of all the foundations I've tried! If I had more money, I'd definitely repurchase it in ivory. It strikes a perfect balance between matte and dewy, giving an elegant yet natural glow that's there but not overpowering. It's ultra-thin but covers most imperfections - exactly the natural coverage I've been looking for. Oh, if only they could lower the price a bit... It's labeled as a pink-toned foundation, but it had more of a pink undertone than I expected, which didn't suit my complexion with redness. It might work well for those who prefer pink-toned foundations! The only downside is that the original price is a bit steep. I'm still using it, and I've grown to love it so much that I've updated my rating! The strong pink tone I initially noticed was probably because too much product came out at first. Of course, compared to a completely pink-free ivory shade, it does have a pink tint, but it's more of a natural, lively pink. It's just so good! I have combination skin leaning towards dry. I recommend building a solid skincare base without making it too slippery. If it feels rich, let it absorb fully. After applying your final skincare step, wait a bit before applying foundation - this improves adherence! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
Since I have fair skin with cool undertones, I chose shade 21. The case feels luxurious, and opening it reminds me of popping open a can - quite different from other cushions! My skin is oily but dehydrated, and combination type, so my cheeks tend to get very dry in winter. When applied, this cushion creates a radiant look without feeling heavy, and the coverage is surprisingly good. It feels hydrating and adheres well to the skin, which I love. I'll definitely repurchase after I finish this one. Even with the current COVID situation limiting my time outside and the dry winter air, I haven't experienced any severe transfer onto my mask. The only downside is that the ingredients list could be a bit better, but I haven't experienced any blemishes from using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
Design First off, the cushion design is absolutely gorgeous! The angular case is unique and totally won me over. Radiance and Hydration I love a bright, radiant look, so I went for shade 21. With its pink base, it gives a luminous complexion while adhering to the skin with a dewy finish. In winter, I tend to reach for cushions like the Aqua Skin Fit that apply smoothly and offer a glossy finish, rather than matte foundations. It's perfect for use in this cold weather without causing any dryness. Design It's both a pro and a con. Compared to round cushions, it takes up more space, making it a bit too large for my everyday makeup pouch. Shade and Oxidation Shade 21 is whiter than expected, and applying too much can make it look cakey, so controlling the amount is crucial. Also, while it starts off with a pretty pink tone, it oxidizes to an ashy color over time. Coverage and Longevity The coverage is somewhat lacking. This seems unavoidable with hydrating foundations. If you want to conceal blemishes or dark spots, a concealer is a must. Due to the low coverage, the longevity suffers as well. By evening, it's almost half worn off. Transfer to Mask It tends to transfer onto masks quite easily. Setting powder is essential as the final step in your makeup routine. For best results, carefully conceal any blemishes or dark spots with a concealer, then apply a thin layer of the cushion, and finish with a setting powder. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
The case definitely exudes a high-end feel. The built-in mirror is large, making it convenient for touch-ups, and I loved the cushion's perforations. I have dry skin, but when I apply this after a thorough skincare routine, I don't experience any deep dryness! It adheres perfectly to the skin, leaving no traces on my mask. I tend to apply products thinly, so that might be a factor, but compared to other products, it has superior adherence and doesn't require powder touch-ups. As you can see from my hand swatch, it has a subtle sheen. It's not a dewy finish, but rather a soft glow that still looks matte, which I appreciate. My skin is somewhat sensitive, but I didn't experience any reactions after application! A concealer is essential if you want to cover blemishes. While it evens out the skin tone, it doesn't hide freckles or moles. Although I didn't feel any deep dryness initially, as time passed, it did become dry, emphasizing dead skin cells and settling slightly into areas like smile lines. The cushion is a bit thick and round, which made it somewhat awkward to apply in areas like the sides of the nose. This would be great for those with oily skin as it doesn't transfer onto masks. I even gave one to my mother who has oily skin! For best results, exfoliate and apply a good skincare base before using this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 24, 2021
I first tried it over makeup at night, and wow, it created a thin yet luxurious-looking skin finish. On bare skin, it gave a light and natural complexion. The fine particles adhere smoothly without looking cakey, creating a radiant and thin layer. It leaves a soft, pink-beige finish. If you have oily or combination skin and want a thin skin-like finish for touch-ups, give this a try! As someone with extremely dry skin, I wouldn't say it felt super hydrating. This product seems suitable for most skin types without much discrimination. It doesn't feel drying or harsh on dry skin. Even when applied to bare skin without skincare, it didn't feel dry. The texture feels powdery soft when applying, and after a while, there's a slight dewy finish? While it's not heavy coverage, it evens out the skin tone, so I didn't feel the need for extra concealing. If needed, you can always use a concealer. I was impressed when I first applied it over makeup, so I think I'll often use it that way. I'd recommend it to those who dislike heavy makeup. If you want a non-drying, thin layer that seems to fill in imperfections, give this a try. It doesn't feel like a cheap cushion (which is actually what I prefer). - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
I was satisfied with how it adheres thinly without being thick, expressing a natural skin tone. Even though it's shade 21, it's not too bright, but rather a moderately pink-peach color that gives a lively and natural look. While it's good for creating a thin, natural, and vibrant skin appearance without being thick, the staying power is a bit lacking, which was disappointing. Also, maybe because I have very dry skin, I couldn't feel the dewy glow or moisturizing effects mentioned in the product description. It seems like it would be better suited for slightly oily skin types rather than dry skin, with its good adherence and perfect fit. Since I have dry skin, I applied a hydrating cream followed by a slightly oily cream as base products before using this, which helped reduce dryness. As it's the dry winter season now, it feels a bit tight on my dry skin. Rather than winter, I think it would be great for spring, summer, and fall when applied over a carefully layered skincare routine, as it won't look patchy and will adhere perfectly to the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2021
✔ Skin Type I have combination and sensitive skin that gets oily in the T-zone by afternoon. After using a face mask, I usually don't apply makeup and mainly use sunscreen. Being selected as a Hwahae Tester, I felt like putting on makeup after a long time, and I was quite satisfied with this product. 1. It's moisturizing and has a nice texture. When first applied, it feels moisturizing, and then it adheres to the skin with a nice texture. The fact that it's moisturizing without being sticky is a plus for someone like me who gets oily. 2. It adheres well to the skin. As mentioned earlier, it not only applies smoothly but also has excellent adherence. After applying the cushion and wearing a mask for about two hours, there was hardly any transfer onto the mask, which was great. 3. It creates a beautiful skin appearance. It creates a smooth, slightly glowing skin appearance that's beautiful. I liked that it didn't look too pale even when layered. 4. It has good staying power. (Minimal breakdown) Maybe because it's winter, but I didn't notice much breakdown of the cushion itself. So when I went out wearing this cushion, I didn't need to touch up. This might vary from person to person, but personally, I appreciated not having to constantly touch up due to minimal noticeable breakdown. 1. The case is a bit large. The case has an angular shape with a luxurious design, but it's a bit on the larger side. For those who carry small bags, it might be difficult to fit this cushion along with other essentials. 2. It might look a bit light without skin tone testing. Because it has a pink base, it appears slightly brighter compared to other cushions of the same shade. Therefore, if you don't test it directly before buying or if you purchase based on your usual shade, it might result in a brighter skin appearance rather than a natural one. It's worth considering this when making your purchase! Since this product has some inherent moisture, for those with combination skin like mine that gets oily later, using a heavy cream formula before applying the cushion might feel a bit heavy. As it's winter, I recommend using an emulsion or cream with moderate moisture as your base skincare before applying this cushion for the best results!
