My skin is combination type, either extremely dry or oily. First off, the case is so pretty it'll make you go 'Wow, what's this?' at first glance. Secondly, I prefer moisturizing cushions over matte ones, and this one is truly hydrating. Third, while most hydrating products lack coverage, this one isn't completely sheer if you apply it over a good base. Fourth, hydrating products often transfer onto masks without powder, but even though I use powder with matte cushions too, this one doesn't transfer excessively. Lastly, I love moisturizing cushions and don't have many blemishes! If you want a beautiful cushion that's a bit larger, I highly recommend this! Being a hydrating cushion, it has less coverage compared to matte ones. The square-shaped case is larger than expected and doesn't fit well in makeup pouches. Not recommended if you're looking for a product that doesn't transfer onto masks at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
Design First off, the cushion design is absolutely gorgeous! The angular case is unique and totally won me over. Radiance and Hydration I love a bright, radiant look, so I went for shade 21. With its pink base, it gives a luminous complexion while adhering to the skin with a dewy finish. In winter, I tend to reach for cushions like the Aqua Skin Fit that apply smoothly and offer a glossy finish, rather than matte foundations. It's perfect for use in this cold weather without causing any dryness. Design It's both a pro and a con. Compared to round cushions, it takes up more space, making it a bit too large for my everyday makeup pouch. Shade and Oxidation Shade 21 is whiter than expected, and applying too much can make it look cakey, so controlling the amount is crucial. Also, while it starts off with a pretty pink tone, it oxidizes to an ashy color over time. Coverage and Longevity The coverage is somewhat lacking. This seems unavoidable with hydrating foundations. If you want to conceal blemishes or dark spots, a concealer is a must. Due to the low coverage, the longevity suffers as well. By evening, it's almost half worn off. Transfer to Mask It tends to transfer onto masks quite easily. Setting powder is essential as the final step in your makeup routine. For best results, carefully conceal any blemishes or dark spots with a concealer, then apply a thin layer of the cushion, and finish with a setting powder. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 24, 2021
• The natural complexion makes it perfect for a quick touch-up before heading out. It's easy to pat on and go. • I love that it's semi-matte - not too matte, but just right. • The staying power is decent. After an 8-hour workday, I noticed some darkening and slight pore clogging, but considering the long wear time, it held up pretty well. • Since I prefer using lighter shades, I don't reach for this as often as I thought I would. As mentioned, I mainly use it for quick outings or touch-ups. • It transfers quite a bit. Even though I set it with powder to avoid mask transfer, it still leaves marks on my mask, which is frustrating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 21, 2021
Skin type: Combination dehydrated, Sensitive skin prone to blemishes • Application: Feels refreshingly cool and moisturizing. • Adherence: Has a firm, elastic feel. Adheres to the skin with a subtle glow and slightly matte finish. When pressing a tissue to the face, it sticks without feeling tacky, and doesn't transfer onto the tissue. • Coverage: Medium • Longevity: After 6 hours, no breakdown inside the mask. After 12 hours without touch-ups: Slight darkening on the forehead, but maintained a glow. Makeup inside the mask slightly separated, revealing some pores. Overall: The packaging is attractively pink. Personally, I prefer foundations that aren't sticky, so I appreciated the subtle glow and hydration after application. If you don't manage excess oil before application, the makeup separates after a few hours, emphasizing pores. Using toner pads to control oil before application helps the makeup adhere better and improves touch-ups. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 20, 2021
It's moderately moisturizing! So if you're expecting an extremely dewy finish because it's called a 'glow cushion', it might not meet your expectations..! But for someone like me who usually uses matte cushions, it felt quite hydrating! I think it even wore beautifully under a mask! My usual cushion would settle into the creases around my nose after a while, but this product seems to do that less! For a moisturizing cushion, it barely transfers onto masks!! Oh, and the shade seems to run a bit light!! I have an in-between skin tone that can use both 23 and 21, and this was slightly light for me!! It might be fine for those who usually use 21, but if you're like me with an ambiguous complexion, it might be good to check before buying haha The scent is off-putting... It's not just that they've added an artificial fragrance that doesn't suit my taste, it genuinely smells strange... There's a kind of 'factory smell' to it, which I really didn't like. Also, the coverage doesn't seem to be particularly impressive. It's not completely lacking, though! I think it's best to apply multiple thin layers!
