The amount of product is quite generous, and the glow it provides is natural and smooth. The pearl finish has a subtle shimmer, but there are also some more intense pearl points mixed in! However, when applied, the subtle pearl and the highlighted pearl points blend well together, creating a natural and beautiful glow. The longevity also seems quite good! Even on cold and dry days, when I'm outdoors all day, it lasts around 4-5 hours on my skin.
ConsMy foundation tends to be matte, so when I apply it directly to my face with a stick, it can cause the makeup to smudge a little.
TipYou can apply highlighter to your face using a sponge, which will keep your makeup from smearing and help it adhere well to your skin for a natural glow!

There's a bit of glittery shimmer mixed in, so it can also work as a highlighter on the cheeks. It's a two-in-one product!
ConsWhen I apply blush on top, it can look cakey, and when I apply it underneath, it can get lost. How should I do it?
TipApply a generous amount before the cushion, then carefully on top of the cushion. Also be careful when applying on top of the blush. It may be challenging, but keep at it! (If you want a more 'glass skin' look, diligent skincare is also an option. But this method will give you a more intense, luminous glow.)

The base has an almost transparent color with pink-purple toned pearl particles that are of a decent size (not too big, so it looks natural when used with a pink blush). Rather than the glow from the pearl, it gives more of a dewy, wet look from the moisturizing formula! I recommend applying it with a sponge or melting it with the warmth of your fingertips and then applying it to your face. If you use it together with a pink blush and apply it well, it gives a natural, dewy glow that makes your skin look moisturized.
ConsIf you rub it on directly with the stick, it can lift off your base makeup. I recommend using your hands or a puff to control the amount you apply.
TipIf you apply too much, it can feel sticky and look shiny. I usually rub it on the back of my hand to melt it a bit, then apply it to the apples of my cheeks, eyes, and temples using a puff or my fingertips. This gives a moisturized, dewy look.

To start with the positives, the glow is very natural. When I used a powder-type highlighter, I felt like I was really wearing highlighter, but this one has a more natural look, almost like the natural glow of my skin. It has a subtle, inner glow-like effect, which I find quite pretty. The Milky Moon shade I used has tiny white pearls in it, so it shines subtly on the skin. It looks very natural and pretty.
ConsOn the other hand, it feels a bit sticky after application. My skin feels a bit heavy, like I've applied a stick balm in the evening. It's definitely not the type that leaves a smooth, powdery finish. Also, if you rub the stick directly on your face after makeup, it can remove the makeup. This is probably the biggest downside... I use a stick highlighter for convenience, but if the stick itself removes my makeup, that's a problem. Even if I apply it with my fingers, the makeup still comes off a bit. It's inevitable due to the heavier, stickier formula. I find that applying it with my fingers is better than using the stick directly, but I still don't reach for it as often because it's a bit of a hassle. I think I just prefer using a powder-type highlighter, it's easier for me to use.

The texture is soft and applies well to the skin temperature! There are cool pinkish purple~opal/silvery fine pearls dotted throughout! ■Highlighter Function? : Hmm, it's actually closer to a dewy stick with a subtle glitter rather than a stick highlighter! The swatch photo shows the pearl effect, but with 1-2 applications, it gives a dewy, glossy glow. Highlighting doesn't really work well. To be honest, I'm not sure about the highlighter function. The swatch photos are from 5-7 swipes, so if you rub it on your face that much, you'll end up looking like a greasy person haha. ■Longevity/Adhesion : Don't just swipe it on your skin! The base will come off. Rub a little on your hand first, then dab it on with a puff, and the base won't come off as much! This product seems like it would be good for someone with really nice skin who wants to just swipe on a base-free glow. The longevity is difficult since it's so glowy, so touch-ups are a must. The texture seems like something a model would use for a lookbook, but I'm not sure it's that great for daily use! ■Cost-Effectiveness : Hmm.. When I use it, it looks greasy and oily, and the highlighter glow isn't that intense. The cost-effectiveness is honestly a bit disappointing. If you're looking for a highlighter function, I'd recommend trying a pressed/shadow type instead!
ConsIt's just a dewy stick that has lost its highlighter function. The base comes off completely and it's super oily. I'd actually recommend the Hince or Holika stick highlighters instead.
TipNone.
