It's a truly milky pink shade that you can't find anywhere else, so I'll definitely buy this just based on the color alone.
ConsNo, I really want to buy a lot of it from Olive Young since they have frequent sales.

The base has an almost transparent color with pink-purple toned pearl particles that are of a decent size (not too big, so it looks natural when used with a pink blush). Rather than the glow from the pearl, it gives more of a dewy, wet look from the moisturizing formula! I recommend applying it with a sponge or melting it with the warmth of your fingertips and then applying it to your face. If you use it together with a pink blush and apply it well, it gives a natural, dewy glow that makes your skin look moisturized.
ConsIf you rub it on directly with the stick, it can lift off your base makeup. I recommend using your hands or a puff to control the amount you apply.
TipIf you apply too much, it can feel sticky and look shiny. I usually rub it on the back of my hand to melt it a bit, then apply it to the apples of my cheeks, eyes, and temples using a puff or my fingertips. This gives a moisturized, dewy look.

First of all, the Milky Moon is a very light pink stick highlighter! The color is almost white. While both can be used as highlighters, I think it's better to use them to create a glowing effect on the skin.😍 The colors are almost colorless, so there's not a big difference between warm and cool tones, but if I had to categorize them, I'd say the Dewy Moon is warm and the Milky Moon is cool.😘 Be careful when applying directly on top of the base, as it can cause the base to clump. I usually apply it on the areas I want to highlight right after sunscreen.🤣 I recommend using the stick highlighter on the cheekbones and larger areas, and the baked type on the nose bridge.
ConsIf you apply it on top of the base, it can peel off, which is a shame.. Try melting it with your fingers and applying it that way.

When applied as a spot highlight, it's incredibly beautiful, but as soon as the area covered gets a bit wider, it starts to look messy. Whereas other famous pink-beam highlighters have a whitish pearl base that provides volume, with a dense 'beam' of pink light on top, Milky Moon has a transparent vaseline-like glow with sparse pink pearls. The relatively large glitter particles are noticeable, so it's not ideal for the forehead/nose bridge/chin, but works best for the eyes/brow bone/lip area to express a dewy, wet look. If you're looking for a highlighter with no pearl texture at all, just a shimmery glow or strong pink presence, this is not recommended. But if you want to achieve a glossy, wet look on the inner corner of the eyes~cheekbones without the typical pressed powder chalkiness, this is highly recommended.
ConsThe formula surprisingly crumbles and gets sticky like a balm type. Like all stick highlighters, just swiping it directly on the skin will inevitably displace the base. The problem is, it doesn't seem to work well with any applicator - puff, brush, or fingertips. Using a cushion puff makes the base stick to it, applying with fingers gives a nice glow but the heat makes the base melt, and the best method is to pick up enough product with a brush and 'press' it on. Because it doesn't work well on top of a matte, high-coverage base, you'll need to use it with a skin-care level, barely-there foundation, or else it will break down and disintegrate with the foundation. Another disappointment is that it transfers easily with just a light touch, from hands or a mask. The adhesion and staying power are almost non-existent, so using this as a face highlighter will definitely require a setting/fixing spray.

When applying it directly from the stick - the base makeup was slightly peeled off, which was a bit disappointing When melting it with my fingers and applying - the glow was a bit less intense When applying it with a puff - the most dewy and natural-looking glow So I'm applying it by picking it up with a puff.
Cons🐷Downside However, after some time, the makeup started to peel off from the areas where I applied this highlighter, which was disappointing. I need to find a way to make it last longer.

It really gives a true dewy finish! The only thing to be cautious of is that applying too much can make your skin look overly shiny. 2️⃣ Subtle shimmer - I purchased shade 1 Dewey Moon for warm tones and shade 2 Milky Moon for cool tones, and they both have a lovely, soft pink shimmer. Even though I'm a warm-toned person, I chose Milky Moon and it doesn't seem to be too restrictive in terms of skin tone.
Cons1️⃣ Value for money - Hmm, the price-to-performance ratio is so-so. The product would have been more suitable if the price was a bit lower. It also doesn't seem to have great longevity, so I'll need to test the wear time without a mask. 2️⃣ Not suitable for direct application - If you apply this directly on top of your base makeup, it will disturb the foundation. You'll have to redo your entire makeup look.

The texture is soft and applies well to the skin temperature! There are cool pinkish purple~opal/silvery fine pearls dotted throughout! ■Highlighter Function? : Hmm, it's actually closer to a dewy stick with a subtle glitter rather than a stick highlighter! The swatch photo shows the pearl effect, but with 1-2 applications, it gives a dewy, glossy glow. Highlighting doesn't really work well. To be honest, I'm not sure about the highlighter function. The swatch photos are from 5-7 swipes, so if you rub it on your face that much, you'll end up looking like a greasy person haha. ■Longevity/Adhesion : Don't just swipe it on your skin! The base will come off. Rub a little on your hand first, then dab it on with a puff, and the base won't come off as much! This product seems like it would be good for someone with really nice skin who wants to just swipe on a base-free glow. The longevity is difficult since it's so glowy, so touch-ups are a must. The texture seems like something a model would use for a lookbook, but I'm not sure it's that great for daily use! ■Cost-Effectiveness : Hmm.. When I use it, it looks greasy and oily, and the highlighter glow isn't that intense. The cost-effectiveness is honestly a bit disappointing. If you're looking for a highlighter function, I'd recommend trying a pressed/shadow type instead!
ConsIt's just a dewy stick that has lost its highlighter function. The base comes off completely and it's super oily. I'd actually recommend the Hince or Holika stick highlighters instead.
TipNone.
