  With the season changing to winter, I wanted to try an Inner Glow makeup look, so I bought this highlighter. First off, it's a stick format, so no separate brush is needed - very convenient to use. The quantity is generous, and it gives a natural, smooth glow. The shimmer is subtle with a mix of fine sparkles and some more intense glitter points. When applied, these blend beautifully for a natural yet stunning luminosity! The staying power seems quite good too. Even on cold, dry days when I'm outdoors all day, it lasts about 4-5 hours on my skin.

  Cons

  Since my foundation is quite matte, applying the stick directly to my face can cause a bit of pilling.

  Tip

  Using a sponge to apply the highlighter prevents any pilling and helps it adhere well to the skin, creating a natural glow.

  The color is beautiful. It's moisturizing and gives a gorgeous dewy glow. Being a stick format makes it convenient to use.

  Cons

  Skip this and go for the powder version instead... No matter how you apply it, it makes your base makeup pill. You end up having to reapply and blend your base all over again. I'm not sure if it's just my lack of skill, but I really struggle to use this properly. It comes with a puff applicator, which is nice, but I personally prefer using my hands. However, even when applied by hand, it still causes the base to shift. As it melts with your body heat, it removes the foundation underneath. Everything just smudges together... It's not even particularly cheap, which makes it even more disappointing. There's clearly a reason why these products are usually made as powders... I should have been more skeptical.

  Only suitable for those with extremely dry skin who find powder products difficult to use.

  While designed as a face stick, this highlighter truly shines when used as a cream eyeshadow. It's absolutely stunning when applied as a focal point to specific areas, but be cautious - if you spread it too wide, it can quickly look messy. Unlike other popular pink-beam highlighters that create dimension with a pearly white base and intense pink 'beams', Milky Moon gives the impression of a transparent petroleum jelly glow with scattered pink pearls. The noticeable larger glitter particles make it less suitable for forehead, nose bridge, or chin application. It works best for creating a dewy, glass-skin effect on eyes, brow bones, and cupid's bow. I wouldn't recommend this if you're after a pearl-free sheen or a highlighter with a strong pink presence. However, if you want to add a glossy, hydrated look to your inner corners and aegyo sal without the typical pressed powder dryness, this is a must-try.

  Cons

  Surprisingly, the formula is easily smudged and has a sticky balm-like consistency. Like all stick highlighters, including high-end ones, swiping it directly will inevitably disrupt your base makeup. The real issue is that it doesn't seem to pair exceptionally well with any application method - be it puff, brush, or fingertip. Using a cushion puff makes it stick to your base makeup, applying with fingers gives a nice glow but melts the foundation due to body heat, and using a brush to pick up product and gently pat it on seems to be the best approach. It works best with a skincare-like foundation that applies thinly, almost like bare skin, as it tends to break down and mix with heavier, matte foundations over time. Another downside is its lack of staying power - it transfers easily upon contact with hands or masks. Due to its poor adherence and longevity, a setting spray is absolutely necessary if you plan to use it as a face highlighter.

  It's great for a quick glow on busy mornings. I think it would work better on the collarbone area rather than the face.

  Those with super sensitive skin or blemishes should be cautious. I got small bumps on my forehead after using it. Since all my other cosmetics are the ones I've been using, this seems to be the only culprit. I'm not sure if it's my technique, but it tends to pill easily when applied over makeup, which makes me hesitant to use it.

  The Vaseline-like glow is amazing! It's perfect for those who love the dewy makeup look and enjoy a bit of shimmer. If you're into that Inner Glow effect, this might be right up your alley.

  I'm quite disappointed. It pills terribly when applied over makeup. Honestly, it feels like you could get a similar effect by mixing Vaseline with some glitter. What's frustrating is that neither the official website nor the YouTubers involved in its development mentioned the large glitter particles. These actually get stuck in pores and fine lines, making the skin look messy. It's also very sticky, so you can only use it on areas not touched by your mask.

  To prevent pilling, try rubbing it on a cushion puff and then gently patting it onto your skin.
