The brightening moisturizer definitely gives a natural-looking complexion! That's a great point! It's quite drying... And I noticed it pilling on my skin. That's really disappointing.. For best results, it seems you need to exfoliate thoroughly and ensure your skin is well-hydrated before applying. This way, you can avoid pilling and achieve a natural, bare-faced look with this cream! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2023
The ingredients are gentle on the skin. This is my first time using a BB cream, and I bought it to replace sunscreen, so I didn't expect much coverage. It's really, really drying. After using it a few times, I've just left it sitting unused. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 17, 2023
The coverage is minimal, but that's not why I bought it. I was mainly looking for something to even out my skin tone, so I'm fairly satisfied with what it does. It's a bit drying, especially around the chin area. After some time, it starts to look white and flake off. Even on days when my skin was in good condition with minimal dead skin cells, it still left a white cast around my nose and chin, which is disappointing. Since it was drying, I mixed it 50/50 with my usual moisturizer, and that worked out well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2023
My skin is super sensitive, so I haven't been able to use foundation, cushion, or BB cream for years. I bought this because the ingredients seemed gentler, and I've been using it for almost a month now without any blemishes or allergic reactions. It works well for me! It can be a bit drying, but it's fine if you moisturize well! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 25, 2023
I'm using this as a replacement for my brightening moisturizer, and it's perfect for a quick application before heading out. It also provides sun protection! It feels a bit drying and can leave a slightly cakey appearance, but it's great for a light application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2023
It instantly brightens your complexion when applied - it's not the slippery type It's more suitable for oily skin types, giving a fresh feel, rather than for dry skin - as someone with dry skin, I felt it made my skin slightly drier - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2023
It's great for applying when you don't want to wear full makeup. I used a puff to apply it. It might look a bit off right after application, but it'll blend well with your natural oils. By the afternoon, your skin looks really good! It can settle into wrinkles. For combination skin, it felt a bit dry in winter. Since the SPF is low, I applied an organic sunscreen first, then put this on top. One thing to note is that you need to be a bit careful when removing it. If you have oily skin, you might find that it makes your skin look smoother. Just remember, it has some color but don't expect it to cover all your blemishes! It's perfect for those days when you think 'I don't want foundation or cushion today!' - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 11, 2023
The smooth texture applies beautifully. It blends seamlessly even when applied with fingers. The complexion correction looks natural too. At first, it's hard to tell, but as time passes, my skin feels a bit tight. I think it would work well if you apply a hydrating moisturizer generously underneath. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 16, 2023
As someone with dry skin, I found this balm slightly moisturizing. It provides a nice brightening effect without any grayish tint, and the color is light and radiant. It's perfect for quick application before stepping out. It covers redness and blemishes well, and even tones down red areas. The texture absorbs well and adheres to the skin nicely. It did emphasize dead skin cells a bit. I wish it was more hydrating - it gets a bit dry in the afternoon. The SPF 25 is a bit disappointing. I'd love to see a version with SPF 50 or higher! Exfoliating is a must. Be sure to do it before applying this. A good skincare routine is essential to prevent dryness. Spritz some hydrating mist in the afternoon to combat dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2022
First off, the ingredients are great and gentle. I have thin, super sensitive skin that tends to get red and irritated with harsh products, but this one applies smoothly without any issues. My complexion is on the lighter side, so I usually use shade #13. I've often avoided BBs and balms because they tend to darken my skin tone, but this one is different. At first, it might seem too light, but it quickly adjusts to your natural skin tone, blending in seamlessly for a natural-looking finish. The downside is that it can feel a bit drying when applied. I use it sparingly in specific areas, so it's not a major problem for me. However, those who apply it all over their face might find it quite dehydrating, especially with winter approaching. If you already have dry skin, you might notice some deep dryness or tightness. To combat the dryness, I mix in a bit of hydrating moisturizer before applying. This seems to help quite a bit.
