The price was reasonable, so I thought it was worth trying. Although the color looked a bit light, it adhered more naturally than I expected, which was nice. Since it's a BB cream with sun protection, I use it instead of sunscreen and cushion foundation. However, it's slightly matte, so those with dry skin might find it a bit disappointing. While the coverage isn't strong, I'd recommend it for light use since it's a BB cream that provides sun protection. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2023
It feels great to see my skin become radiant as I apply it. While it has a slightly matte finish, I love that it's made with gentle ingredients. It applies with a matte finish. Unfortunately, the expiration date is only about a year away. I wonder if this is old stock? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2023
No skin irritation! It naturally brightens and evens skin tone It's too matte and sits on the skin. Not recommended for dry skin Apply ample skincare before using this product - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 22, 2022
I discovered this product while searching for one with good ingredients! It's nice, providing decent coverage. It has a matte finish, so you'll need to prep your skin well. The amount is quite small. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 27, 2022
The adherence is excellent! It sticks to the skin perfectly. I loved that it's almost fragrance-free! It has a natural color payoff and expression. However, since it's not a foundation, you shouldn't expect too much coverage. I think it's a product that stays true to the basics. As much as it adheres well, it's quite matte. Those with dry skin will need to apply a very thorough base. If you go out in winter without proper skincare... oh, I don't even want to imagine. In my case, it was fine on my face, but when I applied it to my hands, it highlighted dead skin cells... haha. While it does give a natural color to the skin, it seems slightly light for my skin tone, which is about #23 as I've gotten a bit tanned recently! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2022
I was worried that with only one shade available, it might look off on my 22-23 skin tone. But when I applied it, it blended naturally with my complexion. The yellow-based formula even helps cover some redness. It has a matte finish when applied. Rather than feeling elastic, it goes on somewhat powdery. If you haven't prepped your skin well, it doesn't absorb smoothly. Also, the SPF seems too low to use as a sunscreen replacement, making it unclear when to use this product. It might be suitable for a quick application before a short walk on days when the UV index isn't too high. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2022
The coverage is surprisingly decent. You just need to squeeze out a little and spread it evenly. I have sensitive skin, but I haven't experienced any blemishes, so I've been using it consistently with good results. It's too matte, which is its biggest drawback. It might be perfect for summer use though. For those who find it too matte, try mixing it with a moisturizing sunscreen or essence. It works perfectly for me when I blend it with my sunscreen. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 24, 2022
- Combination skin / Warm undertone (slight redness on face) though not professionally diagnosed 1. Packaging The product comes in a squeeze tube. 2. Application and absorption Before trying, I read reviews mentioning it was matte. I was curious about this as I usually use dewy BB creams. When first applied, it felt more moisturizing than expected. However, after spreading it evenly, it absorbed quickly and left a powder-like finish, similar to a matte foundation. Right after application, it didn't feel extremely matte, but I sensed it might look patchy on days with minimal skincare or when my skin is particularly dry. 3. Coverage While I didn't expect high coverage from a BB cream compared to foundation, it did a decent job concealing redness and small dark spots. 4. Color *Recommended* Initially, I worried the ivory paint-like color might look unnatural. But after gently patting it on in thin layers, my complexion brightened naturally! It matched the lightest tone on my neck, creating a flawless base as if I naturally had bright skin. 5. Sun protection Though the SPF is lower than my usual brand, I think it would pair well with a hydrating sunscreen. 6. Blemishes After wearing it under a mask for 4-5 hours outdoors, I didn't experience any breakouts. 7. Longevity Checking after 4-5 hours of mask wear, I was impressed. Unlike other products that often fade due to oil production, this slightly matte formula stayed put surprisingly well. - Packaging The opening might be a bit small? Occasionally, the product comes out with a squirt, making me worry it might stain clothes or surfaces. However, it wasn't a major inconvenience during use. - Slightly matte finish While it worked well for my skin type, those with dry or very dry skin might need to pay extra attention to their skincare routine before application. I tried mixing it with a more hydrating BB cream and they worked great together! For dry winter days, blending it with a moisturizing BB cream could be ideal. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 19, 2022
Since masks became a part of daily life, I often do my everyday makeup with just a brightening moisturizer and concealer. I really liked this Blemish Balm because it doesn't apply too thickly or feel heavy like regular BB creams. It evens skin tone naturally, making it perfect for a light, daily application. The coverage? Just enough to hide minor blemishes. I actually preferred the lighter coverage. Plus, I love that the ingredients are on the gentler side. If you're looking for high coverage, this might not be enough for you! The texture is slightly matte and a bit stiff when applying. After some time, it tends to settle into fine lines, and there's some transfer onto masks, which was disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2022
As a busy mom, I only do minimal makeup when going out, and this Blemish Balm is perfect for me! After applying sunscreen, I can quickly achieve a foundation-free look with this balm. At first, I thought the texture was a bit thick, but it spreads smoothly with good absorption. It adheres to the skin with a slightly tacky feel. Initially, I thought it was too light for my complexion, but after patting it in, it blended naturally with my skin tone (21 warm tone). Since it's not a foundation, the coverage is relatively lower, but it's ideal for a natural, foundation-free look. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I liked how it applied slightly matte. Throughout the day, it developed a subtle glow, making my skin look smooth. It seems to suit my skin well, which I'm really happy about! For those with dry skin, it might feel very matte and potentially drying, and the absorption might not be as pleasant. Also, since the base color has a beige tone, it might suit warm complexions better than cool ones. A common drawback is the lower SPF, which means you'll need to apply a separate sunscreen to compensate for this. To make up for the lower SPF, it's best to apply a separate sunscreen. For those with very dry skin, mixing it with a hydrating base might help. If you need more coverage, try blending it with a higher coverage base for the best results!
