  Pros

  This winter savior protected my skin from harsh winds... After applying a hydrating ampoule serum, finishing with this cream lets me brave any cold breeze...

  Cons

  However, it can feel greasy.. While moisturizing, the oily sensation was quite strong. Of course, some richness is unavoidable with cream textures, but it's really not recommended for combination dehydrated skin.

  Tip

  Personally, I found it paired well with Avène Essence in Emulsion. After using a watery toner and absorbing it, just applying Avène and Cetaphil was enough.

  I keep this as a winter essential! With my dry skin, I apply it immediately when I feel even slightly parched to prevent itching or dead skin cells from appearing. It's great for maintaining soft skin texture when applied after showering and patting dry. It's thicker and heavier than an emulsion, spreading on quite richly, but despite its dense texture, it absorbs well and quickly sinks into dry skin.

  Cons

  Since it's in a jar, using your hands feels unhygienic, so a spatula is a must. Also, its rich, oily texture might not suit those with oily skin types.

  Tip

  When the winter weather gets really cold, applying a thick layer on your cheeks helps prevent redness and chapping from the harsh winds.

I've tried Physiogel before, and I'd say the effects are quite similar. I highly recommend this for those with atopic, dry, or super sensitive skin.
