  Pros

  Despite my extremely dry skin, I didn't experience any dryness throughout the day

  Cons

  It was a bit thick and difficult to apply. I think it would work better if layered multiple times. There wasn't any glow, so it didn't make my skin look particularly good. I personally prefer products that leave a slight oily sheen at the end for a dewy look, which this product lacked.

  It's best to apply this by gently patting on multiple thin layers

  Pros

  After using only Cetaphil Emulsion, I decided to try their cream as well. Here's what I found: 1. The moisturizing effect is definitely better than the emulsion. With the emulsion, my skin doesn't feel dry the next day, but it's not particularly hydrated either. With the cream, if I apply a generous amount, I wake up the next morning and my skin feels as if I've just applied moisturizer - it's that hydrated! 2. Absorption: I thought the emulsion absorbed quickly, but the cream is on another level. It sinks in instantly, leaving absolutely no stickiness behind.

  Cons

  1. Jar packaging: While it's convenient to use, it's not very hygienic. Dust can easily get in, and you have to keep dipping your fingers in, which isn't ideal from a cleanliness standpoint. 2. Thick consistency: When applying to dry skin, it doesn't glide on smoothly. Instead, it feels a bit thick and you end up using more product than with the emulsion. I've noticed that I'm using larger amounts, and it seems to be causing some blemishes on my body. Because of this, I find myself reaching for the emulsion more often.

  Tip

  I've found a great way to use both products: apply the emulsion all over, then layer the cream on extra dry areas for added hydration!

  Pros

  The hydration power is excellent. When I apply it generously before bed in winter, I wake up with beautifully moisturized skin.

  Cons

  The texture is a bit thick, but it's fine if you warm it up between your hands before applying.
