Even with my extremely oily scalp, I felt it cleaned thoroughly. Scent: While it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, I found it pleasant and quite usable... Color: Unlike other purple shampoos or color-preserving shampoos that often feel thick and intensely pigmented, the Modamoda shampoo feels light, and the color isn't overwhelming. It gives the impression that it won't stain your towels. Staining: This is Modamoda's biggest advantage. Unlike other color-preserving shampoos that often stain, this one doesn't at all. However, it seems to darken a bit when exposed to air(?). Effectiveness: I have medium-toned brown hair with some grays, and I dye it frequently. My color isn't very vibrant, so I wondered if a color-preserving shampoo would make a difference. It might be my imagination, but it seems to slow down the fading process... I've only used it for a few days, so I'll need to use it more, but I'm inclined to continue using it.
ConsPrice: The price is a bit disappointing... Hair texture: While I loved it because I have extremely oily hair, my family members who tried it said it made their hair feel stiff. But I noticed this with Modamoda's original shampoo (black) too, so...
TipLeave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. If you want to slow down color changes, use it only 2-3 times a week.

It lathers well and has great cleansing effectiveness. The fragrance is subtle, so it wasn't off-putting. 2. I had used up a bottle of hair dye shampoo from another brand, which left residue on my hands and nails. This one doesn't leave any residue. 3. Among the hair dye shampoos I've seen, this one has the best ingredients. 4. Although the case is large for its volume, it contains a refill pack inside as shown in the photo. This makes it easy to refill and convenient to dispose of as recyclable waste.
ConsAs for the drawbacks: 1. Since it's not specifically for gray hair and I used it on my grays, the coloring effect was minimal. I later found out that Modamoda has a separate shampoo (yellow) specifically for gray hair. I plan to buy and use that one. 2. As someone with shoulder-length hair, I found my hair quite stiff after use. It seems to get even stiffer if left for a long time. My husband with short hair says it's fine for him. 3. I feel like I'm losing more hair. My husband with short hair doesn't experience this feeling.

Cleansing power and lather Unlike other color-correcting shampoos, this one lathers up nicely without making hair feel stiff. The cleansing effectiveness seems very good. 2. Post-shampoo feel Many reviews mentioned hair feeling stiff after use, but personally, I didn't experience that. Instead, I thought, 'Hey, this isn't bad.' Not sure if it's because my hair is fine, but it feels less stiff than expected. Compared to protein ampoule shampoos, it's less oily while maintaining a nice softness. 3. Color-correcting effect I had a vibrant ocean blue dye job and didn't want the color to fade quickly, which is why I applied to be a Hwahae Tester. When I used this shampoo, I noticed the color washing out faster than usual. However, instead of fading to a yellowish tone like most shampoos, this product left a slightly cooler, blue-tinted fade, which I was quite satisfied with.
ConsIt feels more like a shampoo for bleached hair rather than for both bleached and dyed hair. When used on hair with color, it seemed to wash out the dye much faster rather than helping it last longer. On the flip side, for hair that has lost most of its dye or is only bleached, it does an excellent job at neutralizing yellow tones.
TipI recommend this for those with bleached hair or those whose hair dye has faded and want to reduce yellow tones.

While it doesn't dramatically transform your hair color, it does help neutralize those unsightly yellow tones. This was especially noticeable for me since I've repeatedly bleached and dyed my hair. When I rinse it out, there's a subtle grayish, ashy tint that builds up! For a color-correcting shampoo, I'd say the ingredients are decent and it's pretty solid overall. The cleansing effectiveness wasn't bad either!
ConsTo be honest, I can't help but mention the scent that everyone's talking about... It has this metallic smell, like iron or steel. It's almost reminiscent of blood. And when you rinse it out, your hair feels quite stiff. I used to use the famous Fanola No Yellow, which was more effective at color correction. But I guess that's because the ingredients are different. Also, 300ml for this price doesn't offer great value for money. This volume of shampoo runs out too quickly...

Since it doesn't stain, you can comfortably apply it with bare hands. 2) Cleansing Effectiveness I've always felt disappointed with other functional shampoos because they don't lather well and leave hair feeling stiff. This product, however, creates a rich lather which I love, and it leaves my scalp feeling thoroughly cleansed and refreshed. 3) Scent Despite being a color-depositing shampoo, the fragrance isn't harsh. It's subtle, though with increased use, there's a slight hint of what might be a coloring scent or a unique aroma. 4) Ingredients I was initially concerned about the ingredients since it's a coloring shampoo, but they seem to be quite good. I've been using it about 3 times a week and haven't experienced any scalp irritation. As someone with sensitive skin, I was worried the shampoo might be harsh, but the Modamoda product has completed low-irritation tests, so it's gentle and I can use it with peace of mind.
ConsThe scent is slightly disappointing and might be bothersome with frequent use. In terms of price, it would be great if they could offer small discounts to improve the value for money.
TipRecommended for those who frequently bleach or dye their hair light colors.

The cleansing effectiveness is excellent, leaving the scalp feeling refreshingly clean overall. I also love that it lathers up richly, so even a small amount covers long hair well.
ConsThe downside is that the strong cleansing power can leave hair feeling a bit stiff. However, it's not as severe as with natural shampoos, and applying some essence while drying your hair helps.
TipAfter lathering on the scalp and cleansing, if you leave it for 2-3 minutes, you might notice a subtle but more uniform change in hair color. It's fascinating to see how the newly grown dark roots seem to blend in a bit. Also, the container has an intriguing design.

It feels more refreshing and less greasy compared to other shampoos. I didn't notice any significant irritation on my scalp or hair. Another advantage is that despite being a color-correcting shampoo, it doesn't stain your hands. The volume is also satisfactory. I plan to use it together with my parents who dye their gray hair. If I decide to bleach my hair in the future, I'll definitely purchase this with my own money.
ConsIt's probably best to apply a treatment or essence as an essential step after using this shampoo.

The color is a (?) black transparent and it lathers up really well!!! Since I have oily skin, I think the cleansing power is quite good~~~
ConsIt's way too stiff ㅠㅠ And since I have seborrheic dermatitis, the irritation was a bit intense. A lot of pimples popped up ㅠㅠ

Cleansing effectiveness For a color-protecting shampoo, it lathers up nicely with rich foam and leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean! It finishes with a refreshing feel. 2. Color protection Although I've only used it for about a week, it seems like the color is fading less. With consistent use, I think you'll see even better results. 3. Hair loss While it's labeled as a product that helps alleviate hair loss symptoms, I think you'll need to use it consistently to see changes. So far, it hasn't been much different from my regular shampoo! 4. Blemishes I'm usually careful when choosing shampoos because using the wrong one can cause scalp blemishes. Fortunately, while using this shampoo, I didn't experience any major blemishes or itching. I think even those with super sensitive skin could use it.
ConsThe scent might be quite polarizing. It leaves hair feeling stiff, so a treatment or essence is definitely necessary.
TipLeave on for 3 minutes before rinsing

Even though I have thick hair, it lathered well and had great cleansing effectiveness! Since it's a color-depositing shampoo, I was worried it might stain my hands or scalp, but that wasn't the case at all. As someone with brown-dyed hair, I noticed my color looked more vibrant, and the fragrance is quite pleasant too.
ConsWhen drying my hair after washing, it felt a bit stiff. For silky, flowing locks, I'd definitely recommend using a conditioner along with this shampoo.
