Even with my extremely oily scalp, I felt it cleaned thoroughly. Scent: While it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, I found it pleasant and quite usable... Color: Unlike other purple shampoos or color-preserving shampoos that often feel thick and intensely pigmented, the Modamoda shampoo feels light, and the color isn't overwhelming. It gives the impression that it won't stain your towels. Staining: This is Modamoda's biggest advantage. Unlike other color-preserving shampoos that often stain, this one doesn't at all. However, it seems to darken a bit when exposed to air(?). Effectiveness: I have medium-toned brown hair with some grays, and I dye it frequently. My color isn't very vibrant, so I wondered if a color-preserving shampoo would make a difference. It might be my imagination, but it seems to slow down the fading process... I've only used it for a few days, so I'll need to use it more, but I'm inclined to continue using it.
ConsPrice: The price is a bit disappointing... Hair texture: While I loved it because I have extremely oily hair, my family members who tried it said it made their hair feel stiff. But I noticed this with Modamoda's original shampoo (black) too, so...
TipLeave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. If you want to slow down color changes, use it only 2-3 times a week.

The scent reminds me of chamomile, which made the whole shampooing experience enjoyable. I've recently bleached and dyed my hair, so I can't fully comment on its color-protecting effects yet, but I'm really impressed with how well it lathers.
ConsI'm not sure if it's because the cleansing power is too strong, but when I use this shampoo alone, my hair feels extremely stiff and tends to tangle a bit. It's a bit disappointing.

It lathers well and has great cleansing effectiveness. The fragrance is subtle, so it wasn't off-putting. 2. I had used up a bottle of hair dye shampoo from another brand, which left residue on my hands and nails. This one doesn't leave any residue. 3. Among the hair dye shampoos I've seen, this one has the best ingredients. 4. Although the case is large for its volume, it contains a refill pack inside as shown in the photo. This makes it easy to refill and convenient to dispose of as recyclable waste.
ConsAs for the drawbacks: 1. Since it's not specifically for gray hair and I used it on my grays, the coloring effect was minimal. I later found out that Modamoda has a separate shampoo (yellow) specifically for gray hair. I plan to buy and use that one. 2. As someone with shoulder-length hair, I found my hair quite stiff after use. It seems to get even stiffer if left for a long time. My husband with short hair says it's fine for him. 3. I feel like I'm losing more hair. My husband with short hair doesn't experience this feeling.

This meant the lower part of my hair would quickly fade to a yellowish-brown, which was a concern. But after using this color-correcting shampoo, the yellow tones are noticeably reduced! I'm very satisfied with how it seems to darken my hair. When I only touch up the roots, they're dark but the rest fades to yellow - this shampoo really helps balance that out! I'll definitely keep using it. I have an oily scalp, and I'm very pleased with its cleansing effectiveness! It lathers well, so a small amount is enough for long hair. I have a sensitive scalp prone to blemishes, but I didn't experience any irritation or issues with this product. Plus, my 60-year-old mom also used it. Her gray hair tends to look almost blonde, but after using this, the brassy yellow tones disappeared, leaving her with a naturally toned-down look. We're both very satisfied. You can see the difference even after just one or two uses!
ConsThe scent is slightly reminiscent of laundry soap, but it's very subtle and pleasant! You can barely smell it. If I had to point out a downside, it's that your hair feels a bit stiff after using the shampoo, so using a conditioner is absolutely necessary!
TipI will definitely repurchase this! Highly recommended!

I've been using it consistently until today, so I'm ready to share my review. For context, the lower part of my hair has been bleached 3 times and dyed deep blue. While it's not a product with intense toning effects, making it difficult to fully assess its effectiveness after just a week of use, I can say with certainty that it's more suitable for maintaining current hair color rather than neutralizing yellow tones in bleached hair. The shampoo has a transparent base with what looks like blueberry powder mixed in. The scent is unique - it's like crushed blueberries mixed with fresh grass. It's not exactly pleasant, but it has a natural feel and isn't off-putting. Even though my hair is bleached, the dark dye means less color wash-out compared to lighter shades. Looking at my still-vibrant blue locks, I can confidently say this product is effective at maintaining color. 💟 For a color or toning shampoo, it's surprisingly gentle on the hair! 💟 It barely stains your hands, so no need to worry (though if you massage it in for 5 minutes, your palms might turn slightly bluish and nails purplish, but this washes off when you rinse your hair) 💟 It lathers well and has decent cleansing power
Cons💦 While it's relatively gentle, it is still a color shampoo, so your hair might feel a bit stiff after washing, even with conditioner. 💦 If you're looking for significant toning effects, you might be disappointed. I used it once on my bleached hair before dyeing, and while it slightly reduced the yellow tones, it didn't neutralize them completely. 💦 The pump is quite stiff... It seems to have high pressure, making it difficult to press down with one hand. As someone who's a bit impatient, I found this quite frustrating.

My hair was stiff and tangled from frequent bleaching, so I was thrilled to try the Modamoda shampoo with its hair loss improvement claims. It was such a relief to use! The lather was rich and didn't stain my hands, making it super convenient. Unlike some shampoos that require 2-3 times the usual amount and leave my scalp feeling unclean even after drying, this one was different - in a good way! As a cool-toned person, I used to stress about my hair turning brassy and only washed with cold water. But with this shampoo, I feel much less worried about that issue.
ConsThe strong cleansing effectiveness made my hair feel a bit stiff, so I had to pay extra attention to conditioning and treatments afterward. It seems like the real satisfaction comes from long-term use rather than immediate results.

I'm not currently bleached, so I can't feel the exact effects, but it seems to reduce color fading and bleeding even though I dyed my hair dark brown not long ago. That said, don't expect dramatic results. I'd comfortably recommend this to beginners like me who are just getting into color-protecting shampoos.
ConsIt makes my hair a bit stiff, so using it daily might cause more hair loss (conditioner or treatment is a must). Since I have a seborrheic scalp, I noticed a few blemishes appearing. The scent is slightly bothersome, and the volume is a bit awkward.
TipLeaving it on for 3 minutes seems crucial. If you rinse it out immediately, honestly, it doesn't seem much different from regular shampoo. It's likely to work better for dyed or bleached hair.

When damaged, it turns a yellowish-brown, which has been a concern. I received this color-correcting shampoo at just the right time. While I haven't seen definitive results yet, I'll update if I notice any improvements!
ConsThe fragrance is a bit overwhelming... This is my first time using a color-correcting shampoo, so I don't have a point of reference. It seems fine at first, but then an unpleasant smell wafts up intermittently. Also, after washing, my hair feels quite stiff. It's been a while since I've experienced this sensation.
TipThe shampoo bottle design is interesting! I'm not sure if it's designed this way for better portion control, but instead of coming out easily, you need to apply a bit of pressure to dispense the product.

While it doesn't dramatically transform your hair color, it does help neutralize those unsightly yellow tones. This was especially noticeable for me since I've repeatedly bleached and dyed my hair. When I rinse it out, there's a subtle grayish, ashy tint that builds up! For a color-correcting shampoo, I'd say the ingredients are decent and it's pretty solid overall. The cleansing effectiveness wasn't bad either!
ConsTo be honest, I can't help but mention the scent that everyone's talking about... It has this metallic smell, like iron or steel. It's almost reminiscent of blood. And when you rinse it out, your hair feels quite stiff. I used to use the famous Fanola No Yellow, which was more effective at color correction. But I guess that's because the ingredients are different. Also, 300ml for this price doesn't offer great value for money. This volume of shampoo runs out too quickly...

Many similar products on the market these days have the drawback of staining nails, which has held me back from trying them. But this one promises no staining, so I was excited to give it a go. I'm glad I got the chance to use it. The container is surprisingly light for its size, which I realized is probably because it's a vacuum container. The shampoo dispenser is unique too - I took a picture of it. I think it might be designed for better portion control. It seems they've put a lot of thought into the packaging. I also appreciate that the ingredients are good, except for the fragrance. While it might not color your hair as quickly as chemical dyes (since it doesn't contain those), I really love that it doesn't transfer or stain everything it touches!
ConsYour hair might feel a bit stiff after washing. I'm used to this because I often use shampoos with good ingredients for oily scalps, but others might find the texture a bit rigid. You can manage this by using a separate conditioner or treatment. Also, while the initial scent is quite nice and familiar, when you lather it up, there's a slight herbal smell that comes through. It reminds me of the scent when I used to use henna. If you're sensitive to smells, this might bother you. However, once your hair dries, the scent becomes milder - somewhere between the initial scent and the lather scent. It could be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some people.
TipFor the best color results, you'll probably want to use it frequently.
