I meant to post this yesterday when reviews were due, but I found it tricky to evaluate, so I'm posting now after trying it once more this morning. My hair condition before use: Half natural, half bleached three times. Overall dyed brown. Usage & Method: Used 5 times total, every other day. Applied like regular shampoo, followed by a second wash with normal shampoo and conditioner. Cleansing Power & After-feel: Cleanses well, similar to Head & Shoulders. No cooling effect. Hair feels stiff after use, so I applied conditioner. Didn't cause scalp irritation, excessive dryness, or itchiness. Color & Texture: Initially clear when pumped, but turned a transparent black when I decanted it. Not sure if it oxidized, but it was surprising! Made me wonder if it shouldn't be decanted. Texture is like regular shampoo. Design and Price: Very simple design, gives a professional vibe for a color-correcting shampoo. 300g for 24,000 won isn't bad if it's effective. Color-Correcting Results: Though it's not very noticeable in photos, after 5 uses, the yellow tones in the bleached parts were slightly neutralized. I think continued use would show more difference.
ConsScent: This is the biggest drawback for me. It smells like metal. While washing my hair, I suddenly noticed a metallic, fishy smell. That's why I followed up with my regular nice-smelling shampoo and conditioner. Without the second wash, the fishy and metallic smell really lingers. I'm not sure if all color-correcting shampoos are like this, as it's my first time using one, but the scent is extremely off-putting. Conclusion: Personally, while it's effective, the scent makes me not want to use it. I'd recommend it to those who want to quickly remove yellow tones from bleached hair and don't mind doing a second wash. However, if you can't tolerate the metallic smell during shampooing, I'd advise against using it.

I've been using it consistently until today, so I'm ready to share my review. For context, the lower part of my hair has been bleached 3 times and dyed deep blue. While it's not a product with intense toning effects, making it difficult to fully assess its effectiveness after just a week of use, I can say with certainty that it's more suitable for maintaining current hair color rather than neutralizing yellow tones in bleached hair. The shampoo has a transparent base with what looks like blueberry powder mixed in. The scent is unique - it's like crushed blueberries mixed with fresh grass. It's not exactly pleasant, but it has a natural feel and isn't off-putting. Even though my hair is bleached, the dark dye means less color wash-out compared to lighter shades. Looking at my still-vibrant blue locks, I can confidently say this product is effective at maintaining color. 💟 For a color or toning shampoo, it's surprisingly gentle on the hair! 💟 It barely stains your hands, so no need to worry (though if you massage it in for 5 minutes, your palms might turn slightly bluish and nails purplish, but this washes off when you rinse your hair) 💟 It lathers well and has decent cleansing power
Cons💦 While it's relatively gentle, it is still a color shampoo, so your hair might feel a bit stiff after washing, even with conditioner. 💦 If you're looking for significant toning effects, you might be disappointed. I used it once on my bleached hair before dyeing, and while it slightly reduced the yellow tones, it didn't neutralize them completely. 💦 The pump is quite stiff... It seems to have high pressure, making it difficult to press down with one hand. As someone who's a bit impatient, I found this quite frustrating.

My hair was stiff and tangled from frequent bleaching, so I was thrilled to try the Modamoda shampoo with its hair loss improvement claims. It was such a relief to use! The lather was rich and didn't stain my hands, making it super convenient. Unlike some shampoos that require 2-3 times the usual amount and leave my scalp feeling unclean even after drying, this one was different - in a good way! As a cool-toned person, I used to stress about my hair turning brassy and only washed with cold water. But with this shampoo, I feel much less worried about that issue.
ConsThe strong cleansing effectiveness made my hair feel a bit stiff, so I had to pay extra attention to conditioning and treatments afterward. It seems like the real satisfaction comes from long-term use rather than immediate results.

I think it's possible to maintain a dark tone without any yellowish tinge. I started using it a little at first, but now I use it every evening as my daily shampoo. Recommended for dyed and bleached hair Highly recommended for people with dyed or bleached hair! Personally, I think it's even better for bleached hair. My sister has bleached hair, and after trying this, she liked it so much that we're now using it together. It seems to be particularly helpful for people with brown hair to prevent it from turning yellow too quickly. I'm consistently using it as well! Pleasant fragrance After considering the ingredients, fragrance is the next most important factor for me when choosing a shampoo, and I really like this one's scent. It has a fresh aroma that seems somewhat citrusy, or perhaps a green-toned fragrance. Natural pigments I appreciate that it uses natural pigments. While I'm not usually too concerned about colorants, natural ones are always preferable. It feels safe to use even after dyeing your hair! Ingredients I was a bit worried because I found out that some previous Modamoda products were banned. However, this new product has all good ingredients, and I think they must have been extra careful in formulating it due to past issues. It might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
ConsThe hair feels a bit stiff right after shampooing. I guess it's because it's targeted at people with dyed or bleached hair? I'm managing this stiffness during the conditioning step, but it's not a major inconvenience!
TipUse it on wet hair and lather up just like you would with a regular shampoo. A tip I've used with other shampoos too is to wait about 3 minutes to allow the color to penetrate the hair. While looking for reviews of this shampoo, I came across some useful information! Apparently, you should use it daily until you achieve your desired color, and then switch to using it 2-3 times a week for maintenance. (I'm not entirely sure about this yet...)

The fragrance was pleasant too. As someone who does at-home coloring, my hair condition isn't great, but I felt this product made my hair noticeably softer!
ConsSince I don't have bleached hair, I'm not sure about the yellow tone reduction. But there wasn't anything disappointing! The product volume was generous and overall it was good.

When damaged, it turns a yellowish-brown, which has been a concern. I received this color-correcting shampoo at just the right time. While I haven't seen definitive results yet, I'll update if I notice any improvements!
ConsThe fragrance is a bit overwhelming... This is my first time using a color-correcting shampoo, so I don't have a point of reference. It seems fine at first, but then an unpleasant smell wafts up intermittently. Also, after washing, my hair feels quite stiff. It's been a while since I've experienced this sensation.
TipThe shampoo bottle design is interesting! I'm not sure if it's designed this way for better portion control, but instead of coming out easily, you need to apply a bit of pressure to dispense the product.

For some reason, after using this shampoo, my hair feels softer than usual It lathers well. Easy to spread quickly It doesn't stain your hands, face, neck, or other skin areas! Years ago when I had bleached hair, before color-depositing shampoos were common in Korea, I bought a product from the US. Wow... Even with gloves on, it dyed my hands. So when Korean products came out, I ignored them. But this one doesn't do that at all!
ConsSince my hair isn't bleached, the effect is very subtle... I feel like it might have toned down some yellowness? But in photos and to others, the difference isn't really noticeable. I'm dyeing my hair ash again soon, so I'll write an additional review to see how it affects color fading.

It seemed to really calm down the color. I used it about 2-3 times a week! I think people with lighter hair might see even more dramatic results. If you're on the fence about trying it, I'd definitely recommend it!
ConsUnlike other shampoos, this one felt a bit stiff? When washing my hair, I thought it might tangle a bit, but since my hair is already quite damaged, I took that into account and found it okay!
TipI think using this shampoo 3-4 times a week would be just right! And if you follow up with a thorough treatment after shampooing, you'll likely see even better results.

I thought it might strip my hair a bit, but surprisingly it didn't strip at all. I recently bleached and dyed my hair a different color, and it ended up all yellow, making me look like a dandelion - it was awful! I haven't seen significant results yet since I've only used it for a few days, but I think I'll need to keep using it consistently. One thing's for sure though - it doesn't strip the color!
ConsIt's so drying... I think I'll definitely need to use conditioner or hair oil with this.

I've been wanting to dye my hair with an ashy lavender feel, so I bleached it twice before trying this product. Interestingly, this shampoo isn't just for bleached hair - it's suitable for those with brown-dyed hair too. I heard it helps prevent color fading for those with brown hair, and with consistent use for a few days, it adds a slight ashy tint to your hair color. From my experience, while I didn't see dramatic results, it did help reduce the yellow tones after bleaching. Texture: It has a thin consistency! Color: It's transparent with a hint of purple, similar to the color of Ryo's anti-hair loss purple shampoo. Lather: It creates a very rich, abundant lather! Scent: It seems to have a citrusy, refreshing smell. Cleansing power: It's on par with other shampoos! Volume: It's surprisingly generous! I use shampoo twice, and compared to my previous shampoo of the same volume that ran out quickly, this one lasts much longer. Why I recommend it: My scalp tends to get hot easily, and sometimes I get dandruff after washing if I've been sweating a lot. Because of this, I usually try to stay indoors. However, when I had a sports day at work and sweated profusely, I was worried about dandruff. To my surprise, after using this shampoo immediately upon returning home, I didn't get any dandruff! That's a real win! Also, while it's famous for giving an ashy tint, you don't have to worry about it staining your hands as it uses natural pigments. If you're still concerned, you can apply it with a hair brush. After extended use, I can confirm there was no staining at all.
ConsBlemishes: My scalp is sensitive and I tend to experience some hair loss, but I don't usually get blemishes. However, when I shared this shampoo with my family, my sister mentioned it caused blemishes on her scalp. Something to keep in mind... Not recommended for: Those with super sensitive scalps and severe hair loss might want to stick to specialized shampoos.
