This is apparently due to natural browning since there are no artificial colorants. • While it may not dramatically change color as advertised, it does help neutralize yellowish tones!
Cons• Achieving a dramatic color correction is challenging • The scent is reminiscent of a subtle hair dye fragrance • The price is on the steep side
Tip• If you're concerned about the hefty price tag and wish for more lather, consider mixing it with a bit of regular shampoo for a more economical option!

Despite having wounds on my scalp, I didn't experience any tingling or irritation while washing my hair!! 👍 + It also has anti-hair loss properties, which made me feel even more at ease using it. These points were the main reasons I decided to use this product! 🌝 Texture and Lather The texture is slightly thicker compared to regular shampoos, and a little goes a long way when mixed with water! I was very pleased with how well it lathers when rubbed into the hair. ❄️ Color The color was completely clear when I first used it, but the next time it was a mix of purple, gray, and black~ 😎 Changes While this shampoo might be more effective on bleached hair, I don't have bleached hair. I had dyed my hair brown a while ago. As time passed, the color had faded quite a bit, leaving a somewhat outdated brown. After using this color-correcting shampoo, how should I describe it... it became a true brown without any yellow undertones?? I'll need to use it more for my hair to lighten further, but it seems the color-correcting effect is definitely there!!~~
Cons😭 Personally, I found the scent a bit disappointing... When I first dispensed the shampoo into my hand, it had a nice scent reminiscent of men's cologne mixed with citrus notes, which I thought was quite nice... The lather was good too, but the more I massaged it into my hair, the more I noticed a metallic smell... It was so strong that I couldn't even wait the full 3 minutes and had to rinse it out after just 1 minute.. This was my first time using a color-correcting shampoo, so I'm not sure if this scent is typical... The fragrance was fine when I first put it in my hand, but when I started washing my hair, it smelled strongly of metal, like a rusty pole..ㅠㅠ I'm not sure if it's just that this shampoo doesn't suit my hair type, but it didn't seem to work well for me...ㅠㅠ It's fine if you rinse thoroughly, so I think I'll use regular shampoo normally and only use this one mainly when I've bleached my hair. Overall: Recommended if you don't mind the scent!!
TipThe large quantity and pretty design would make it a nice gift. I put some on my hand for the review photo and wiped it off immediately, but the citrus and men's cologne scent lingered, making me dizzy ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ If you rinse thoroughly, the scent won't remain, so make sure to rinse well~!!

The first pump yields a clear formula, but the next day it comes out as a deep purple. I liked that it lathers up nicely when rubbed between the hands. Following the instructions, I left it on for about 3 minutes before rinsing on the first day. While I didn't notice much difference immediately after drying, around day 4, I could see the dyed parts and new gray growth taking on a brownish tone, evening out my complexion. Rather than expecting a dramatic transformation of white hair to colored, this product seems best suited for toning down the brassiness of dyed hair or adjusting the color of scattered long gray strands.
ConsThe biggest drawback was the scent. It's reminiscent of hair dye... To me, it had a somewhat mechanical smell, unlike typical shampoos on the market, which made the washing experience a bit uncomfortable.
TipWhile the shampoo cleanses well, it can leave your hair feeling a bit stiff afterwards. I'd definitely recommend using it with a nice-smelling conditioner or treatment for the best results.

My mom, who dyes her hair, also tried it with me! I'm not sure if it's just a feeling, but I really do notice less hair falling out! Mom also mentioned that her hair color seems to last longer! Maybe it's because the shampoo itself has some color in it. It lathers well and overall, it was quite good!
ConsPersonally, I found the scent to be quite disappointing... For me, it smelled a bit harsh? It had a sort of medicinal odor, so I think if they could improve the fragrance, it would make this product even better!
TipI usually do a two-step shampoo routine when I shower. I use this shampoo for the first wash and a different one for the second. I found that using it this way helped reduce my aversion to the scent! I wasn't using it primarily for color protection, but this method worked well for me! It turned out to be pretty good!

Unlike typical color-depositing shampoos that can stain your hands and potentially damage your hair, this one is different. It's as easy to use as regular shampoo - just lather up in the shower and leave it on for 3 minutes! The transparent formula doesn't leave any stains, and it creates a nice, soft lather. What's really impressive is that Modamoda Blonde Shampoo doesn't contain any artificial colorants. Instead, it uses only natural pigments to work with your hair's natural color-changing process. This means you don't have to worry about hair damage, and it's even suitable for already damaged hair. With 87.9% naturally-derived ingredients and having passed sensitivity tests for delicate scalps, this color-depositing shampoo is a great option for those with sensitive skin too!
ConsWhile the product description promises a fresh citrus scent with added green notes for a crisp and cool fragrance, I found that, like other reviewers mentioned, there was a slight medicinal smell. It's a bit disappointing, but not a deal-breaker. The smell doesn't interfere with using the product, and given all its other benefits, I'll definitely keep using it regularly.

For a color-protecting shampoo, I thought the cost was quite fair. Also, it lathers up nicely even with just a small amount.
ConsHowever, the scent is rather weak and has a medicinal smell, which is disappointing. If they could improve the fragrance, it would be an excellent product.
TipI found that it lathers up well when you wet your hair thoroughly before shampooing!
