I bought it looking at the ceramide content, and it's effective in improving the skin barrier.
ConsThe application was uncomfortable before I got used to it. But it got better when I gently massaged it in.

If you apply it and sleep, you won't feel any dryness at all.
ConsNot recommended for oily skin. The formula doesn't spread well, so you have to warm it up a bit in your palm before applying. If you apply too much, it can feel heavy.

It seems like I wrote this review about a month after using it almost every night (around 90% of the time) with my husband. In fact, I think I applied too much at first without knowing better, which is why I used it up so quickly! The description says that you only need to use a small amount, but I had the feeling that I needed to layer it on thinly multiple times to really lock in the moisture. This is because the cream I normally use seems to provide plenty of moisture, leaving a dewy and slightly shiny finish, while this one seems to have a more powdery, matte finish when applied. So I was unsure if it was actually providing the moisture and nourishment of the ampoule. But after using up the whole bottle, I can confirm that when I apply it properly and wake up in the morning, any blemishes have calmed down and my skin feels soft and balanced, without being overly oily. I think it's because of the high ceramide content! I would repurchase this product about 90% of the time.
Cons1. As everyone has probably experienced, the application of this product was quite surprising at first. It really doesn't seem like it's going to spread, but you just need to take a tiny amount, warm it up in your hands, and gently press it into the skin. For those with good skin, it probably spreads easily, but when I first started using this cream, I had a lot of painful, red acne on my chin, so the application process was a bit irritating. So I would just lightly warm it in my palms (about 50% gets absorbed there 😭) and gently pat it onto my chin. But as I got more skilled, I'm now able to spread it thinly and evenly. I think as my skin has improved, it's become easier to apply as well. 2. When I would use this in the morning, even when applying a thin layer, the sunscreen I put on top would sometimes pill up and come off. It doesn't happen every time, but since every second counts in the morning rush, I ended up just using this at night. * I wouldn't recommend this to those who don't want to invest a lot of time in their skincare routine and just want to quickly slap something on and be done with it.
TipDespite the downsides mentioned, this cream is clearly a great product for locking in the benefits of the other products used beforehand. I use this as the final step in my evening routine, after a hydrating mask (like Crisma or Mediheal Hyaluronic Acid). The cream plays a big role in sealing in the moisture from the mask. Even with my acne-prone skin, I found this cream to be very helpful - my blemishes have really calmed down. I highly recommend this product!

It's difficult to apply, so I only use it at night. There's a slight tendency to spread, so I apply it at night.
ConsTerrible price haha. The spreadability is lacking, but it works well if you apply it carefully.

The cream I tried was completely dense and had a matte feel, which was quite interesting. It had a white butter-like texture. The scent was almost fragrance-free, which was clean. When applying, you only need to dab on a small amount, and it can cover the entire face, so it seems like it will last a long time. When using it like a regular cream, it makes your face look like it's been powdered. Although I still need to use it more, in the short term, it didn't cause any breakouts, and my skin tone seems to have evened out. I'm looking forward to finishing the entire jar of this cream.
ConsThe formula was interesting, but since I don't usually use a spatula, there was a bit of an inconvenience when applying it. It didn't spread very well, and it felt like it was just sitting on my face instead of blending in smoothly. If the spreadability was just a bit better, that would have been ideal.
TipIt feels a bit heavy to use in the morning, so I think it would be perfect to use after cleansing in the evening.

After applying, there's a sense that an extra layer has been added to my skin? It may be because the absorption is a bit less, but it feels firm and taut without any stickiness, which I liked. ☞Lasting Power The next day, when I apply another cream, my skin doesn't feel tight, which means this cream has great lasting power, haha. ☞Design The clean, simple design with a non-tacky dark green color makes it suitable to keep on my vanity. ☞Ingredients I applied for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program just based on the ingredients, and they turned out to be a perfect match for me, with no issues. ☞Convenience Sometimes with jar-type creams, the spatula is either missing or doesn't fit in the jar, requiring separate storage. But this one has a thin inner lid with the spatula on top, and a sturdy outer lid, which is very convenient and nice. ☞Brand Reputation To be honest, I've never heard of the Ceuticals brand before...I may be ignorant, but the Hwahae app also doesn't have many reviews for their other products. However, the product seems quite good, so if they market it well, it should do well. ☞Fragrance Even though I have no nasal issues like rhinitis or sinusitis, this product is almost fragrance-free, which I can barely detect.
Cons☞Price It's expensive...the regular price is 89,000 won for 50ml, which is shocking. Even on sale, it would still be pricey. Since it's not a famous brand, there's no brand value, so it seems the price is solely based on the ingredient costs. For someone like me who uses creams generously, this price is quite burdensome. ☞Spreadability To be honest, I can overlook other things, but this is unacceptable. Please fix the spreadability. The texture is really awful. It feels like rubbing cold butter straight from the fridge on my face until it melts. It's not cold, but the formula is so solidified that it's really hard to spread it evenly on my face. I'm not exaggerating - I can't use this in the morning when I'm in a hurry, as there's no time to melt it. And having to keep rubbing it on my face seems a bit irritating too. In terms of spreadability, I've really docked a lot of points for this...I'm considering mixing it with some oil. Out of all the creams I've tried, this has the worst texture. ☞Repurchase Intent Apart from that, everything else is fine, but due to the price and texture, I honestly don't want to spend money to buy this again. Especially the difficulty in applying it is a dealbreaker...If the spreadability isn't improved, I'll buy a different cream.
TipJust try warming it up as much as possible before applying it.😂

It also provides good moisturization, so I feel like my skin can withstand cold winds.
Cons👎 Texture, Spreadability I thought it was frozen... Even with a spatula, it's hard to scoop out. And if I just smear it on my face, it just falls right off... It has a somewhat thick and stiff ointment-like texture. It's really difficult to apply, but once my hands warm it up, it does spread more easily. Because of this texture, I've only been testing it at night. The reason is that when I applied this cream and then put on sunscreen in the morning, the cream kind of pilled up.😩😩
TipAs long as you don't apply too much, it doesn't seem to cause oiliness or acne. ++ It's best to just use it at night...

As the weather gets colder, no matter how many layers I applied, I couldn't resolve the internal dryness. But the Ceramide cream, when used after my skincare routine, was able to address the internal dryness with just a small amount, which was great.
ConsEven though it's a night-time type, it's almost like I have to scratch it off?? It's not at the level of being deeply absorbed, but more like I have to scratch it off to get it to come off... The texture isn't very spreadable. When I first applied it to my skin, I thought it would melt, but when I scooped some out and tried to spread it on my face, it just plopped down and I had to reapply it. (The part that fell off, I ended up putting on the back of my heel ^^) Personally, I don't think it suits me very well, but I'll try to use it consistently.
TipAfter your skincare routine, only use a small amount, and make sure it's fully absorbed before applying.

Additional comments: When the skin is dry, the area around the nose can become itchy, but after applying the cream, the itchiness subsided. The reviewer also had some acne on their cheeks, and it is gradually calming down. The calming effect is not immediate, but the skin is slowly soothing.
ConsThe review mentions that the cream does not apply well directly on the bare face, and even when applied with the hands, it tends to clump up and not spread evenly. Since the cream is transparent, the clumps may not be visible, but when trying to smooth it out with the fingers, the cream can get scraped off entirely, potentially disrupting the application of the subsequent layers. Proper amount control is essential. When using the spatula, the reviewer finds it easier to apply on the right side of the face as they are right-handed, but the short spatula makes it difficult to reach the left side and forehead. Without the usage instructions, the application can be challenging. The jar-type packaging with a solid cream formula makes it hard to scoop out with the hands, making the spatula a necessity. However, keeping the spatula clean can be inconvenient. Carrying the product around may also be uncomfortable due to the packaging. The reviewer finds the price to be higher than expected, though the effects are noticeable. Considering the price point, the reviewer is unsure if they would purchase the product again.
TipThe review suggests that instead of scooping out a large amount, it is better to lightly scrape the surface of the cream and apply it thinly and evenly across the face. The reviewer also recommends using another moisturizing cream in addition to this product.

As someone who dislikes wandering spatulas, I was very pleased with this. I do prefer tube-type creams, but this is still a passing grade. The texture is like a creamy butter. It's a bit difficult to apply, but once applied, it sinks in without you even noticing, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. Even though I have oily skin, I didn't feel much oil or greasiness after applying it. Some people may not recommend it for oily skin, but I think it's a case-by-case basis. It's definitely not an oily formula. The scent is barely noticeable - it's practically unscented. This is pretty much unscented. As winter approaches, I was looking to buy a highly moisturizing cream, and this product with a high ceramide content had me excited. To cut to the chase, I will definitely repurchase this! I have combination skin that gets very flushed in the winter due to dehydration. After diligently using this for 2 weeks with my husband (who has oily, post-shave sensitive skin), the moisturizing effect was amazing, and I could feel the soothing benefits too. My husband, who usually gets very red and irritated after shaving, kept asking how much this costs because he liked it so much. This is one of the few skincare products he's reacted so positively to.
ConsThe texture is a bit too thick, making it difficult to spread thinly. I tried mixing it with some oil or a light moisturizer, but it was still a bit challenging to apply. I think I'll need to do some experimentation to figure out the best way to apply this.
